Michael Caine should really set aside 1.5 hours someday and watch Jaws 4 The Revenge. Then do a 10-minute commentary on what he thinks about it, charging $9.99 for people to watch it. I bet he would make another $1 million dollars if he did that.
I agree, but he should do it while watching the whole film, commentary in real time, while also having as many of his favorite alcoholic beverages that he wants, becoming gradually more drunk while talking about it. Since I think that may be the only way he would be willing to do so...

The house was actually built from the ground up, not bought out right. Eventually, it got to where he needed more money to finish the house and doing Jaws 4 covered the rest of the cost it would need for the house to be finished.

They need to make a new Jaws movie where it turns out that Michael Cane was a serial killer and framed the shark for all of the murders in all of the Jaws movies.

Oh yeah, he was in that movie. All I remember is that Roger Ebert hated it like his life depended on his outrage at it. Seriously, go look up his review and read it. There's a fun bit in the middle where he says something to the effect of the most believeable part of the movie is that the shark wanted revenge. Which is true because they blew this shark up in the first movie and who wouldn't want revenge on the survivors of the men that blew them to bits?
He shouldn't feel TOO bad about it. Despite it being a bad movie, I've actually grown fond of it over the years and really enjoyed his character in it.
The only thing really seriously bad about this movie is the special effects; other than that, it's still a worthwhile drama. If the people who made it would simply take the movie and improve the effects with today's computer technology, the product would be a perfectly decent part of the "Jaws" franchise. I'll say this: I would take "Jaws 4" over the average horror movie today, crappy effects and all, because even with the state-of-the-art computer effects they have, "Jaws 4" has something even MORE important-- heart.

The saddest part of that movie, was because the little girl playing the couple’s daughter was actually killed in real life by her father... she was actually the voice on one of the movies “all dogs go to heaven” and “the land before times”
When decades have passed, actors can finally be honest about the crap movies they were in. By that point, the idiot director and idiot executives are all out of the business, so the actor is no longer in danger of tanking his career by criticizing crap movies.

Jaws 4 is TERRIBLE. The first Jaws film is easily the best Jaws film. Jaws 2 is decent. Jaws 3 is pretty bad but is still dumb fun and entertaining and Jaws 4 is just flat out terrible with no good qualities at all.
@@darthtrip7188 nah Hoagie is a redeeming part of the film. If only a small one. It might be because I saw the Revenge when I was 6 and didn't see Jaws 3 until I was 16 that gives it a more nostalgic factor and makes me like it more but the Revenge is better than 3 IMHO.
3 is good in a guilty pleasure kinda way. And as terrible as Jaws The Revenge is, I'm strangely fascinated by it. How did we go from one of the best movies of all time to....that? What happened? Lol.

From what I understand, he was enticed by filming in The Bahamas. Like, he read the script, probably thinking it was dumb, but then said "YES!" and signed on when he turned the page and it said (Cut to: The Bahamas) and he realized he could get an all expenses paid vacation there.
Shark movies as a whole is one of the most consistently bad genres. Jaws: The Revenge ain’t a good Jaws sequel but just as a killer shark film, it’s top tier.
He did it for the paycheck. He's not the first actor to do that and he won't be the last. Hell, he's done his fair share of crap just like many others. Watch him in The Swarm. Trust me, it's worse than Jaws the Revenge by miles.

I was such a huge Jaws fan as a kid that no Jaws movie could be bad to me. Think i actually saw this one in the theater at 13 years old.

I loved the Jaws movies as a kid. The one I never really liked was Jaws 3 . Never really liked that one
I think jaws 4 the revenge is just as good as part 1 and two but part 3 was the worst in my opinion.
