The vault structure is the Logseq default. Do you use your vault on obsidian and logseq? This doesn’t creates some problems? On iOS you just can use one right? In this case, the obsidian app…
Great Questions Ivo! Yes I used my vault together with Logseq. So far it worked perfectly, except for the fact that there will be some files syncing issues since I used Obsidian Mobile as well. Normally the way to solve this is to open my Obsidian app on mobile to sync the vault then open Logseq on desktop and somehow those errors will disappear 🫠 Fun Fact, I was once trying to move my vault to Logseq mobile (to use Logseq mobile with Obsidian desktop), and that somehow delete ALL my notes!
Thanks Roman! Personally I think, for personal knowledge management, we should use minimal folder structure and instead use other means to find the notes. Right now I only have few folders to put things away like Daily notes, Weekly notes, and Slip Box (which contains lots of notes)

I made a video about choosing an app here: ruclips.net/video/iewws30JGsM/видео.html I normally recommend Remnote for a student, but for you I think Obsidian, Bear, or Notion might be great choices as you probably need to write a lot of long essays. I would recommend you try obsidian first and if there's something you really don't like you can try to see if Bear or Notion might be a better fit. Cheers!
