- 4X4 Ambulance build is at the mercy of this working. If this repair is not the solve, than i think this is a bigger electrical problem. PLEASE WORK.
My name is Chrome i have been living in y cargo van for 6 years now. I started this lifestyle BROKE and IN DEBT and after 11 months of living the van life i cleared my debt and started to put my life back together and build for a better future. I have turned my original van into a badass camper van that is lifted with all the toys. Over the years i went from being broke and stealth camping in the city and sleeping at walmarts... to now, living fulltime in a jacked up van and driving deep off-grid into the backcountry and living life in the dirt. WOW LIFE HAS CHANGED.

Unplug injection control pressure sensor test run to see if the stalling stops. Unplugging Injection control pressure sensor will cause the injection pressure regulator to assume a default pressure based on remaining load, rpm, boost. Throttle position. It always restarts and may indicate a Injection Control pressure valve or sensor allowing pressure to drop or fail to raise injection pressure. Unplugging the sensor and monitoring pressures both ways will tell you if your pressure is maintaining between 700-3600 PSI. If the pressure drops below about 550 it will stall. A sticky injection regulator on pump or regulator issue is very plausible.
Makes sense, would mass airflow sensor also be possible problem?

Remember to store your cast iron with a paper towel to keep the rust out. My Mom taught me that trick and it works like a charm.
Getting old is better than the alternative
Chrome, the reason some provincial campgrounds use non threaded taps is because they draw potable water from a well and if RVs are filling their water tanks this could drain their well. Eg. Englishman’s River campground.

My dad built a table that lifted up to the ceiling, when he wanted to engage with his trains he would lower it with a button.
When my dad passed, his friend came and took the ceiling mount for his game room.
Try changing fuel filter, check make sure no fuel line blockage or kinked fuel line and no air in fuel line and try changing out the EVAC purge control valve. Much love from southern Indiana
Sound like a throttle position sensor to me. My van had that problem twice.
Cam sensor failure is the leading cause of stalling in the 7.3. Try this Chrome 👍
Looks like a fuel delivery problem.
Check the fuel lines and fuel filters for blockage
Also the filler cap
Eliminate the simple things first

I feel u on getting old sucks. My toe starting hurting, and went to the doctor and told him I think i have gout, sure enough it was. Talk about painful its been a month now. The only reason I knew what it was, was cuz of u Chrome..Thanks lol
If it's gout eat lots of dark cherries or drink tart cherry juice
I am not a mechanic, we had a station wagon back in the day and it did the exact same thing it was our fuel injectors and a dirty gas tank. Maybe?

I have a healthy protein waffle receipe: 1/2 cup oatmeal + 1/2 cottage cheese (or greek yogourt) + 1/3 eggs whites + 1 scoop vanilla or chocolate or other flavor proteine powder (optional). Also lot of “keto” waffle recepes with eggs and cheese

Our diesel ford used to do that and we found it was the accelerator pedal was the issue. Once we replaced that it didn't stall or cut out after. Hope this helps xx

Well you could take some vitamins for your eyes. They work, I wear glasses and my prescription hasnt changed in 40 years. In fact my eyes got better, try it. Getting old doesn't mean you break down. You just need to take better care of yourself. Eat right, exercise and sunshine, as well as having fun as much as possible. The perfect solution to living a healthy long pain-free life.

Just some info. If you have tires with warranty, if you do any diy stuff with them it voids your warranty.
Cast iron is the perfect multi mode cookware. You can use it on the camp fire, camp stove, induction cooktop, electric or gas stove, etc. Only limitation is the microwave but you can't put any metal cookware in there so that's a moot point. We cover everything with cast iron cookware and a set of stainless bowls. We even use the largest stainless bowl as a sink.
Talk about putting a sign on your welder plug stating "NOT for RV Use". When I sold RV, we had a dude plug his RV 110 VAC into his Dryer or welder outlet. Which was 220 VAC. We replace his converter the first time. The second time we looked into what he was doing. D@MN!
Some diesels have a small “lift” pump that transfers fuel from the tank to the injection pump, maybe it’s that? 😢

Best way to season is to use a small mist bottle full of 2/3 cooking oil to water . Shake and spray on surface when super hot. Do it outdoors. Never put food on a dry skillet. Use the sprayer!!!
Maybe the fuel pickup is clogged on the ambo? That or a sensor, but sensors usually pop out a code.

Fuel filter status? Diesels have issues when they sit....see if algae and bacteria have grown in the fuel system.

Im so tired. Sons got a 2014 that gave up its ghost. He has a 2023 7.3L donor box chassis that had roof cab damage so he got it very cheap. Weve spent the weekend swapping so much over hahaha. We are about to jump into the 4x4 conversion in a bit. Eating and relaxing a bit before we get cracking

Chrome, is that a 7.3? Mine did the same thing and it was the cam sensor. There was actually a recall on it.

I own a 2006 Ford E450. It had a problem similar to your ambo. It is a gasoline engine. The electronic throttle went bad. Just a thought.

That long crank after the stall makes me think fuel pump/pressure issues.
On my 1996 F350 7. 3, similar trouble. Cracked fuel filter housing. The one on top the engine.

I always get tired of looking for a place to sleep…It gets old. I guess I do not always feel safe if not in a secure space, that’s just me.
The induction cook top works great with cast iron.

Tool organization is great. ONLY if you put the tools away EVERY NIGHT. Do not leave, go to bed, until ALL tools are in proper order.
ONE exception: IF tool is out, borrowed, in use,simple business size card with responsibe name in the tools place, and reason/location for the night.
