I recommend "The Heaviest Matter Of The Universe" by Gojira. The first 10 -25 seconds will blow your head clean off. Also, I recommend "From The Sky" and "Where Dragons Dwell" from the same album called "From Mars To Sirius".
That's her voice, my friend! She's an extraordinary vocalist, even in metal, where female growlers aren't uncommon. Tatiana's growls are so much deeper than her peers, AND, clean vocals that are so beautiful, she really stands apart. She also writes most of the band's lyrics, which are intelligent, deep, and, poetic, all in a second language.
@@ExUSSailor ironically, just watching someone reacting to Sit Stay Roll Over and not having a good time. Cuz sometimes she is just pissed and between her vocals and the band's musical skills a person totally feels that anger. @@j.f.fisher5318 Well, it depends on the song. "Sit, Stay, Roll Over" is about the 2014 civil war in Donbass, which occurred, basically, right where they're all from. So, anger is definitely the right emotion to be expressing on that one.

Wow! 😀 I just looked over your vids since you did this a year ago...Jinjer didn't JUST get you into Jinjer... Jinjer got you into Metal. 🤘 😊...the 3:14 moment! YEAH! Gotta love it! 7:31...'that's beautiful'...😊🤘YES. So cool you said that right there... when I first heard it I had that same thought. (a lot of people in reactions don't think 'beautiful' at that spot)
Love seeing people that have never listened to metal give it a try. Yes it's loud, and yes there tends to be lots of "screaming", but when used correctly, it helps invoke the feelings and brings to life the intentions of the lyrics. People seem to be truly amazed once they get into the lyrics of most metal. Metal tends to cover emotional and thought provoking topics and feelings in their lyrics. Also, while some don't notice it, I believe metal produces some of the best guitarists, drummers, and bassists in the world. As you put it, the bass and drums were on point. The drummer in this song leads the change overs and everything else just falls in place. Hope you keep trying out new bands and really give it a go. I think you will find that it will just speak to you.
Metal is the most technical forum of music with the exception of classical. It incorporates so many different styles of other genres. Hell Epica infused Jazz into their latest track, it's beautiful.
Thanks for a great reaction, it's one of those things, checking out new people checking the band out. And happy you seemed to really enjoy it as well. The song name flub you covered with that sound effect, that had me laughing. XD Oh! Almost forgot, thoroughly agreed about the official live Who Is Gonna Be The One, great quality. It's one of their heavier ones, kind of like Sit Stay Roll Over for example. Some others already got suggested, and I agree on the songs, so instead I'd also add Perennial, and their latest Teacher, Teacher, those two are off their newest EP, Micro. The former has a lovely official video (and I don't think I need to say how good the song is, but it is), and the latter is an official audio mixed with footage from several concerts, very well done job at that whoever cut that together did an excellent job syncing stuff up across concerts.
First time I saw this I had to show everyone I knew. She's got crazy range and all the band are on fucking point on this session. Cracking reaction boyo
Outlander is the one that first sold me. Really epic through and through. If you wanna hear her range Astronomy is insane like Pisces. I'd be down to see you shocked. I had to seriously watch her live to honestly believe that was her voice.
Who is gonna be the one (live), captain clock at resurrection fest and words of wisdom (live) are all kick ass live versions and she will blow you away everytime you hear her. The rest of the band is phenomenal too😍 Kick ass reaction dude!!!

Love your reaction! Haha. I would love to see you react to Epica - Consign to Oblivion (live at the Zenith, Paris) . Epica is a Dutch symphonic Metal band and one of my favorites. Keep up the good work 🤘.
Pisces is a song she wrote to describe the duality of actually being a pisces. It's why you have two contrasting styles of music within the song. They represent the light and dark sides of a pisces personality. It's all from her perspective. It's stupidly brilliant song writing too. Their other songs are also wonderfully written despite English not being their first language. Tatiana is just amazing. But don't forget the rest of the band either because they're some of the best musicians in metal right now. Great reaction fella!
Yup, that is all Tati. She can do anything with her voice. She’s the best singer and lyricist I have heard in a long time! You definitely need to check out more Jinjer. I’d start with Who is Gonna Be the One (live), Bad Water (live), Words of Wisdom (live), Outlander (live), and Cloud Factory (live)
Fellow irishman here. Please react to infected rain orphan soul. They will be playing in Dublin this November. Great band similiar to jinjer who deserve a lot more exposure.
The song is about the two natures in the Pisces star sign and its reflected in the music itself with one being the soft and nice melody representing the positive and the harsh metal representing the negative.
Great reaction. I look forward to seeing Amy check it out. I see a lot of women connect with Tati's vocals - obviously not everyone, cuz it is art and people have different tastes, but enough that I'm curious to see her take on it. BTW, Nightwish's "Ghost Love Score" live at Wacken 2013 is another video that is guaranteed not to disappoint.
This song/video is like a cold splash of water in the face of everyone who watches who has been stuck asleep in the dull repetitive world of hip hop, a discovery akin to, in the allegory of plato's cave, someone stumbling near the entrance of it, and discovers there actually is an outside world from the cave all this time... its shocking, and its difficult to even comprehend it, until you've spent time in the sun, seeing the trees and the colors, and feeling the fresh air. Hip hop reactors discovering Metallica is the same way. Metal's recognition is growing, but decades late... better late than never though.
Saw them thrice and... yes, it totally is her voice. And even after listening to all kinds of metal primarily for most of the last 20 years and being perfectly aware of bands like Arch Enemy or Abnormality, the first time I saw Jinjer perform "Who is gonna be the one?" (check the live version, around the 4 minute mark), I could hardly believe my ears. Those growls, but WAY lower. Just standing there, infront of the stage... crash, reboot, crash again :D And she just switches back to singing half a minute later. As for suggestions: Twelve foot ninja - Coming for you :D and Oceans of Slumber - The banished heart.
Yes its amazing there are a few more that can do that or even between growls and opera voice: Alisa Whitegulz (Arch Enemy) and Floor Jansen (Nightwish) for example.
Tatiana is a vocal BEAST..check out 'Just another'..'Cloud factory'..Who i gona be the one'..'Bad water' (all smooth vocals in this 1)..your just beginning the journey down the Jinjer rabbit hole 👍
A bootleg of Bad Water with perfect sound is ruclips.net/video/Kn_-X79w9SM/видео.html It is the last song at a concert and also has Scissors as an encore.
hahaha finally a reaction same to mine, every song of this song has so uch to offer bro, they are really talented and diverse, check out some old stuff from them like Outlander, Желаю значит получу (I want it I'll get it) or Cloud Factory!!
Awakening by Unleash The Archers. It’s another female singer for a metal band. But it’s not the aggressive vocals like this one, it’s just EPIC singing and incredible guitar, bass, and drum work
Haha amazing reaction, definitely one the purest I watched! If you want to hear another mind-blowing female vocalist, make sure to check out "Ankor - Lost Soul". Ankor is quite an unconventional metal band too, with influences from many different styles. Hell they even literally mix metal with rap in "Shhh... (I'm not gonna lose it)", which is another great track I recommend, that in fact speaks about the narrow-minded haters that don't want to listen to anything that isn't the music they always listen to. So those are my two cents! :)
Yeah I was so distracted by Tatiana's screaming growl and dramatic stage presence so much the first time i watched this video, that I had trouble catching all the great instrumentals from all 3 of her bandmates. What a talented and unique band.
"HOP" stands for House of Pain; as in the Rap trio responsible for "Jump Around"...? That fry scream at the end ("emeralds are ripped awaaaaaaay") is my favorite part because it is just a killer example of a proper scream technique. Yes, the "Scream" that people belittle Heavy Metal for, takes an incredible amount of training to do WITHOUT blowing your vocal cords out. (Like Corey Taylor from Slipknot, did on the Iowa tour way back when).
More Jinjer, please! I’d give a song suggestion, but there really aren’t any bad songs. Maybe “Captain Clock” live at Resurrection Fest or the new video released a few days ago for “Teacher, Teacher”. 😊 (Subbing in hopes for more Jinjer.)
@@DrewFortune97 talent, drive, and years of practice. She started singing in metal bands as a teenager, starting at 18 or 19 practicing growls for about 5 years, and performing with growling vocals for a decade.

This song has given me chills everyday for two months. Pisces is the best intro to the band, especially if one is new to the genre. "Sit, Stay, Roll Over" is perhaps their heaviest, hardcore song, and "Micro" is an instrumental off their latest EP. If they have a song that is forgettable, I haven't found it. This band is habit-forming, so beware!
If you want another really good metal song that will really blow you away, check out the video for Kingdom Live At EMGTV by Devin Townsend. Honest to god he is amazing.
I don't know if it was covered in the comments or not, but the song "Pisces" is literally about the zodiac sign. Tatiana is Pisces, if you look closely there's a fish in her ear plugs (the symbol for the zodiac sign). The switching in vocal styles is intentional and perfectly represents the duality of people who fall under that sign, as the lyrics also reflect typical Pisces personalities. Glad you enjoyed!
Did she just scare the crap out of him? 😂 A couple other metal groups to check out: Unleash the Archers - Awakening Nightwish - Romanticide live at Wacken 2013

Это невозможно не влюбиться в JINJER !! They are so f@ckign awesome !! yeah !!!!
Tatiana is a vocal BEAST..check out 'Just another'..'Cloud factory'..Who i gona be the one'..'Bad water' (all smooth vocals in this 1)..your just beginning the journey down the Jinjer rabbit hole 👍
A bootleg of Bad Water with perfect sound is ruclips.net/video/Kn_-X79w9SM/видео.html
It is the last song at a concert and also has Scissors as an encore.
hahaha finally a reaction same to mine, every song of this song has so uch to offer bro, they are really talented and diverse, check out some old stuff from them like Outlander, Желаю значит получу (I want it I'll get it) or Cloud Factory!!
Jinjer - Who is gonna be the one (live)🤘🤘🤘🤘
Tatiana has one of the best growls in the metal game, that is her actual voice, no enhancers. Her transitions are so awesome!!
Awakening by Unleash The Archers. It’s another female singer for a metal band. But it’s not the aggressive vocals like this one, it’s just EPIC singing and incredible guitar, bass, and drum work
All her! Her writing and the musicianship is top top notch. Maybe look at who's gonna be one live, captain clock live or pereneial
Haha. I love how you just walk out of the room when it changes 😂🤣🤣
You have to watch Who Is Gonna Be The One ... it was the first song I heard by them .. you will not believe your ears.
Anyone else notice the bags under bros eyes visibly darkened after the first vocal switch?
"She goes from that...to that...to that" LOL, but how would you describe that any better. Great reaction video, thanks.
More Jinjer, please! I’d give a song suggestion, but there really aren’t any bad songs. Maybe “Captain Clock” live at Resurrection Fest or the new video released a few days ago for “Teacher, Teacher”. 😊 (Subbing in hopes for more Jinjer.)
dude this girl breaks u in half like an matchbox xD ....metalmusik come frome the heart...stay metal \m/
That my friend is her legitimate voice, and she is self taught. 🤘🏻
AJ Nobody unbelievable 😂😂
@@DrewFortune97 talent, drive, and years of practice. She started singing in metal bands as a teenager, starting at 18 or 19 practicing growls for about 5 years, and performing with growling vocals for a decade.
Classic reaction my man, thank you ;)
They just released a new music video for Teacher, Teacher! It's a lot heavier and shows off more of the entire bands talent.
I saw them live last summer in a tiny venue. They're amazing.
If you are ready for an adventure check out Nightwish live with Floor Jansen Storytime live from Tampere Finland or Ghost Love Score live from Buenos Aires are good ones to start with.
GLS Wacken is the only version. 👍
@@studuckson Live from Buenos Aires is actually an official live video as well that highlights when Floor Jansen was introduced to the very enthusiastic South American fans. In my opinion it is her best performance vocally of Ghost Love Score. ruclips.net/video/3brcfttchzA/видео.html
I’ll disagree, but both great performances.
Nice one, been waiting for this one! How about this one next?
UNLEASH THE ARCHERS - Awakening (Full Band Playthrough Video)
domsson
Also, "General of the Dark Armies" and "The Matriarch"
@@tarinindell8217 and "Shadow Guide"
@@tarinindell8217 fuck it. The whole Apex album.
Yes! They are amazing. The song like an huracaine, but sound really good.
Apex title track is class
Welcome to the fan club, lol. Tatiana is the Queen of metal. The entire band is insanely talented. Cheers from Texas!
Heya nice to see an Irish lad like myself listening to metal keep up the work I’m subbing 👌🏻
My man!🇮🇪
You should check out Jinjer’s song “Who Is Gonna Be The One (live).” You’ll dig it.
Thanks to Jinjer, I've changed my mind about metal !!!
Haha great reaction. Their video for "I Speak Astronomy" is amazing. I, a random guy on the internet, highly recommend it.
If you want another really good metal song that will really blow you away, check out the video for Kingdom Live At EMGTV by Devin Townsend. Honest to god he is amazing.
Yes that was her, no gimmicks. You might want to also check out their song 'i speak astronomy'.
Lol!!! I could literally see the gears in your mind slipping and looking for something to connect with when she went guttural.... LMAO. Awesome ;) 🤘🤘🤘
Watched vocal coach talk about how Tati sings, it's a combination of technique(specifically breath control) and her vocal range.
This song quickly became my favorite along with the band!
Did she just scare the crap out of him? 😂
A couple other metal groups to check out:
Unleash the Archers - Awakening
Nightwish - Romanticide live at Wacken 2013
That was my first reaction too, "it can`t be that pretty girl who scream". Amaizing
Check out Beggars Dance, and Teacher, Teacher! Unless you already have.(Edit: yes both of those songs are Jinjer too.)
Also check out Serendipity and Fool the Gravity by Infected Rain.
Pure her! Great vocal cords and it needs a lot of training. Her vocal reach is just a turn on!
