Correction. Miles is not adopted by Jakes family. He was raised by the scientists or the "lab guys" as Jake says. Jake also says Miles is not part of their family but is like a "stay cat" inseparable from the kids. Edit: No, "A son for a son" does not mean Spider is now his son, Jake just repeated what Neytiri said before. Quaritch in a way took his son, now Jake has his.
I know it creates drama and good story, but I'm disappointed in Neytiri if she really does treat the human child as an outsider. Jake is more responsible for the death of her father than the boy who had absolutely nothing to do with the first movies events. What I'm wondering is how they've been getting new supplies of gas masks for Miles? They probably wear out over time, and as he ages, he's gonna did masks of different sizes.
I saw it on Christmas Day and it was awesome the only thing that made me cry was when the humans killed the whale like animals that the Clan held dear and me being an animal lover and an understander of animal behavior with no formal training I felt more of a connection with the Navi Clan when they lost their beloved animal friends and for a few minutes it made me disgusted that I was human and maybe it’s because they were like poachers and killing animals just because they could do so and poachers do that in real life they don’t care if the animal is appreciated or if it’s endangered they just kill because they want a trophy and because they want to sell the ivory or the horns from a rhinoceros or the pelts of tigers and stuff like that! I know humans are hunters like the Navi and the native peoples here on earth have the same values in a matter of speaking in the fact that they take only what they need to survive and eat what they kill and the animals that have no use for food they leave them alone because it keeps balance
Kiri being born from Graces avatar is actually something that comes from an older script from the first movie dating back to the 1990s. I remember reading about jake "having to give birth to himself" way back in 2009 on the wiki, and I think this is a carried over idea by James Cameron.
@@ManiyaVinas it was before he arrived to earth, and it had something to do with his avatar body and how it had his dna, idk I’d have to reread it again
@@RHR199X If I remember correctly, Jake's avatar body was originally intended for his brother before his brother was murdered. But because his brother was a twin, Jake could use the avatar body intended for his twin brother because Jake's DNA is the same as his late twin brother's DNA.
I generally believe the movie will kill off Neteyam because the trailer and synopsis talks about the tragedy the family is going to face. Tragedy usually meaning a death. Considering Lo’ak has most of the focus and he has romance with the Princess of the water tribe - I believe it even more. All the children apart from Neteyam has a focus point and to me - that screams he might die. Plus he’s the oldest, which will make it more heartbreaking when it comes to the story. Lo’ak is different, less accepted and younger - Neteyam seems to be a normal navi. So I assume Lo’ak feels less then his older brother, but at the same time he can’t measure up to him or replace his position in the story as next tribe leader without him gone. So Lo’ak having so much focus in the film - to me means he might take his brothers place after his death. Obviously this is just a theory.
Also if Neteyam dies then that means Jake and Neytiri won’t have an heir. Lo’ak would be shoved to first place and probably have to choose the his people or the home he makes with the water clan
@@2007VolkswagenJetta how come Jake and Neytiri won't have an heir? Even when Lo'ak chooses to be with the water clan, Tuktirey is also their daughter.
@@AnhNguyen-lq5qo I think for them woman are the spiritual leaders and men are Chief. Like how Neytiri was the chiefs daughter but wasn’t going to be Chief when he died. That role was going to go to Suyte before he died. But I guess they can always choose another warrior to be Chief
maybe they don't have the technology anymore, since they fired the humans from Pandora. it's somehow already a miracle that they still manage to fill up/maintain his air container. he's like a handicapped child, who needs special requirement to survive/live a "normal" life. maybe that's also why Neytiri can't bond with him, on top of him being not from her blood. you have to admit that you never saw handicapped navis in the first movie. does it mean they don't know illnesses? accidents? or do they just discard people with disabilities?... speaking, you rarely see people like this is native tribes, because they're dead already. i've read an interview of a native from an amazonian tribes, who was shunned because he was diabetic.... also, when someone is rejected from their family, sometimes their choose to break all ties with it. and i wouldn't be surprised if Miles decided to return to the human civilisation. he's still an adolescent, he takes radical decisions (that he might regret later...)
I'm thinking Kiri plays a big part in "Avatar 3: The Seed Bearer" or at least future films for the franchise. The story of her spiritual connection to Pandora doesn't go unnoticed.
@@gemsaint1485 Maybe because she is still young and just learning about her powers and how to control them? I definitely think there will be a huge scene in a future movie where Kiri uses her powers against a bunch of humans...
@@gumzy3000 Nah, more like that whole plot is gonna be the main part of the next film, they just gave us a taster. Now I gotta wait years again 😩. James better not croke on us and finish it in its entirety.
Here’s my theory about Kiri. In the trailer, It’s presumed Jake’s daughter Kiri is referring to Eywa. But I also believe she might also be referring to Grace. She feels Grace, she feels her heartbeat. It might be a reflection of her own heartbeat. Kiri is Grace Reincarnated. The Na’vi say that every person is born twice. The second is when you earn your place among the people. This is her second life, and Grace has earned her place among the people. I think Kiri refers to Grace as mom because she is unaware Grace was her past life. Kiri is drawn to Grace, she feels like she has a strong bond with her. And I really feel over time Kiri will remember who she was. While the RDA uses technology to resurrect dead soldiers by making a COPY of them, Ewya can resurrect fallen Navi by simply transferring their soul into another body or newborn infant. Look at the Tree of Souls for example. It’s a very spiritual place where the Navi go to speak to their deceased loved ones. But if you look at the science, the Tree of Souls acts as a hard drive you could say. It can store a persons consciousness (soul) upon death. It’s not a COPY of their mind. It is their literal soul that can be uploaded to the Tree. And upon rebirth, their soul is transferred into a newborn. Their memories of their past life are locked due to the fact a newborns brain won’t be able to recollect all those memories at once. But as they get older they will start to feel a connection to their past life as more memories are unlocked. It is why the Navi believe in reincarnation. It’s not just a belief, it’s an occurrence that does happen. And I feel like that’s what happening with Kiri possibly… the RDA make corrupted copies of a deceased person (they are the evil), while Ewya, The Tree of Souls, can transfer the original PURE consciousness into a new form (they are the good). Quadritch represents the corrupted force while Grace represents the pure force.
Sounds absolutely trite, blunt and juvenile. I enjoy Cameron for his curiosity about cinema, but no one ever hailed him as an expert screenwriter. The plot you described is something I'd expect out of Cameron, but I hope that I'm wrong, I really do.
@@Escaperrealitynnow No. I don't even need to think about it. His brother's avatar was not connected to him, it was his. But when they gave Jake the job, now the avatar was from him, and he owned it. If the brother revived, he couldn't get it back. Plus the soul of Jake's human body is inside his Jake's Avatar and it's him. Neytiri felt in love with Jake, not his brother. So don't jump to conclusions without thinking
No, the kids wouldn’t be a thing if it was Tom, because they have different personality’s, if it was Tom, the Navi would be obliterated by now. Also what makes the navis person is there Personality not dna.
After watching the movie, its impressive how much he got right, there was obviously some wrongs, like his theory about Spider, and why the water villiage is burning, but all in all he got an impressive amount of stuff right
In the newest trailer for Avatar: The Way of Water, it shows Mo’at with Jake and Neytiri presenting their newborn baby (who I am assuming is Neteyam) with their Olo’eyktan and Tsahík clothing in front of many other Na’vi. So (at least in that part of the movie) Mo’at is very much alive.
1. The mom is alive 2. The oldest son does die 3. Spider is not an adopted son, he is best friends with the other kids 4. Spider lives on the base camp thing if you will. 5. Natiri does not show the same kind of connection with Aiwa, however kiri, her adopted daughter does.

About Kiri she can maybe talk to animals and understand animals and connect with ewya much better then anyone else because at 6:07 to 6:41 he/she talks about Kiri’s father and it could be ewya because grace is with ewya and her avatar is pregnant so after the failing of the Navi trying to save grace, she died and she where probably pregnant already so they had to get her baby out of the avatar after try to save grace or just before Remember this is just a theory, I’d like to read you’re ones!
since i'm pretty down to earth, i'd rather go for a simpler explanation : Grace fell in love with a navi, had a baby with him, but then the school was shut and the navi guy fled with/hid the baby (other option : Grace asked him to hide their babygirl to protect her from the humans) Grace died, became one with eywa, and communicates with her daughter through Pandora's biological network. maybe he conscience is stronger than the natives' and this is why she's able to do it? like, maybe it was thanks to grace that the whole fauna of Pandora came to the rescue during the final battle in the first movie.

Well, at least you'll see the movie on the big screen. I'm not sure because of the sanctions that I will watch it in the cinema😭 It's such a shame that after so many years of expectations, your dreams are being ruined. Yes, I will be lucky to find it on the Internet. But this is the kind of movie you need to enjoy on the big screen
James Cameron has mentioned at least part of the film, I don't know how much, will take place on earth. So whether that's a prequel scene of before the events of the first film or something else is anyone's guess. I think that's certainly an interesting plot point, as far as how earth comes into the plot and which characters might be on earth. I guess it could be as simple as a scene of Jake as a human marine before he was paralyzed, which we don't know a whole lot about him before he was paralyzed.
Curious to hear everyone's thougts here, know im breaking my own suspension of disbelief here... But... The RDA spent an exorbitant sum of money to make the hybrid avatars... Why did they give them the ability to reproduce?! Or was it some other sadistic way they hoped to manipulate the natives?
Perhaps it’s actually a design feature? As you said. Avatars are super expensive to make on Earth and ship. I wouldn’t be surprised if they intended for the avatars to carry and birth new future blank avatars, or hell, to be fertile for experimental reasons.
It’s most likely based on Spain’s colonization and trying to wipe out the natives through intermarriage created more citizens loyal to Spain/Spanish rule through integration,
Thank you! Wether Avatar will explain each kid in the sequel well enough to remember, safe to say we can go to the movies without getting confused on who is who.
The fact that Neteyam died just killed me inside and it hurt so bad and seeing Neytiri so full of anger and rage and wailing during Neteyam's death just ugh idk that shit fucken hurt!!
How are the oldest kids so old if the same amount of time has passed between the first and second movies as in real life? Do they age faster as kids, and then slows down when they get older?
You also failed to pick up something on the scene where the Recoms (armed Avatars) have attacked the Metkayina village and apparently taken hostages. There are a few frames where it looks like the nearest Avatar (assumed to be Quaritch) tries to guide Spider forward and he makes a motion refusing his touch.
To add on, it looked like the Avatar also had its hand on Spider’s neck (using his hand to hold Spider hostage, meanwhile, he’s also pushing him forward)
I think colonel Quaritch will have a big character development I mean yes he was the villain in the movie but he will eventually see what his son (miles) see's in the navi culture, this way Quaritch will probably turn good. Cuz u cant really have a character be a villain for 5-6 more avatar movies. But I really hope to see kiri's mom grace be back on the big screen or even trudy.
I loved the movie and the aspect that Quaritch has a son is juicy character development it gives him a reason to change or to be more open minded. I also feel like that angle will make for conflict in later movies like Spider vs his father if he doesnt ever try to see the navi in a diffrent view.
Kind of off topic, but I'd love to understand why they made the Avatar's able to breed. I would think that how it is in real life, hybrid animals and clones are typically sterile. What kind of benefit would it be to make the Avatars produce sperm/eggs? Is this just a plot hole?
Firstly, all hybrids being infertile is a common misconception. There is no law in biology that says that hybrids must be infertile, and the list of known species pairs that can produce fertile offspring counts in hundreds. Some examples: polar bears × brown bears wolves × jackals wolves × coyotes spinner dolphins × stripped dolphins
@@bleakpath8587 Agree except Nav'i with humans does not compare to the polar bear and grizzly bear. At least the bears are from the same genus. Na'vi and humans don't even share the same evolutionary path. Maybe there's lore around but this is the reason I think when avatars are created, they mostly use Na'vi DNA and just a bit of human DNA.
@@lauraportillo7575 all hybrids being infertile is a rule for most of hybrids ever existing on Earth. We have no proofs that that rule also exists in other planet. If they have totally different evolution path, they also may have the ability to mix with other breeds' blood. The Na'vi can connect their mind with other animals in their planet, can we humans do that to any other animals on Earth? Rules existing on Earth don't mean they also can be applied for other planets. We're not the center and not the general rule for the whole universe.
@@AnhNguyen-lq5qo We can concur based on observations in our own planet that extreme deference in biology cannot even create a hybrid. A human cannot mate with a shark and produce an offspring and a cat mating with a dog cannot produce hybrids. Hybrids have only been possible in animals that are genetically similar. For example chimpanzee is the closest genetic relative humans have. There were experiments done to try to create a hybrid. Those have not worked and that's with humans and chimpanzees having only 1% difference in DNA. Pandora is fantasy not science. If the world was rooted in science the Navi would have 6 limbs and females would have no breats.
@@eddiemeggs4018 just to let you know Neytiri says 'my grandfather's granfather was Toruk Makto' so it wouldn't make sense to include him if we dont know the rest of the past family ancestors
An idea of how Miles might be manipulated; “Kid, you help us find them and we’ll get you an avatar.” He’s the only human, and being able to have a body that closer resembles that of his non-human family would be a HUGE temptation.
Not only being closer to hi family but also not having the risk of death that comes with having a human body in such a hostile environment. He cant even breathe without that mask on...
Yeah, just as Jake getting his "real legs" back if he played nice with Quaritch. It could be that he is meant to mirror his adopted father in this way.
Idk why every thing is saying that Spider is one of their kids... he’s not! After seeing Avatar 2 you can tell he was sort of taken in but not really considered one of their kids. He’s more like the whole tribe\the remaining humans responsibility it’s just that he’s friends with Neytiri and Jakes kids that’s why he’s always around them. But I think the movie makes it clear that Spider is not considered one of the Sullys
God I really REALLY want to know either Spider was born from Neytiri or was adopted but the more I think about it it could be possible that Spider was definitely born from Neytiri I mean think about it obviously the humans don't show up until when the children are way older and the way Spider looks seems to be around his siblings age not only that where in the hell would they randomly find a human baby not from the humans since they left or the newer humans and also his skin if you look closely he has Na'vi patterning on his body and it doesn't look painted on at all so this must have been a 1 in a billion chance of one of Jake's children being born mostly Human which kind of sucks since he has to wear a mask and most likely those are rare I mean for all we know Eywa must have blessed Jake son being born human or somethin like that for plotwise reasons like Neytiri's hate towards humans and healing her pain from her past and most likely bring their family closer together. Any thoughts?
I know that all the soldiers they fought left after the battle. I'm not certain if the humans who helped the Na'vi also left. If they did not, Spider could be the child of those allies.
mo'at is still alive in the second movie. she can be seen in one of the Trailers where jake and neytiri present one of their babies in some kind of a ceremony.. its only for a short moment though
He's not, he was born on Pandora from a woman who was unknowingly pregnant before she left Earth and was 'frozen' in stasis within her on the six year voyage to Pandora, I think the new prequel comic coming out on the 6th of December shows this.

I doubt Miles betrays them, notice he is not exactly walking free, a Avatar soldier has a firm hand on his shoulder. Reminds me of Jon Snow with his "mother" Kaitlen Stark.
I don't think her mind was "put" into her, I think she is most likely her reincarnation, and she'll have a strong spiritual connection to Pandora but not fully understand her own origin until later

I think you got the daughters switched. The youngest looks like a full Na'vi (4 fingers, no eyebrows) which would suggest she is, in fact, the adopted daughter
it could be that she takes more after Neytiri than Jake considering that Jake is only half Navi makes sense that his genes would be the least Represented in their offspring.
im going to the cinema this week. i know i shouldnt expect too much screentime of sigourney weaver's kiri. but honestly. i cant wait to see her and how she plays her. its what im looking forward to the most
Here's is a idea It only depends on how much of Jake's human body was paralyzed. What if jake had a kid right before he left for pandora and only briefly knew about the kid as soon as he left earth. So the rda use that kid as some avatar super weapon and use the knowledge of the kid being jakes to split the family up and beat them.
I wouldn't say Spider is their adoptive kid. I think he grew up with their tribe and was closest to Kiri, but adoptive kid? He was kidnapped and they left him there and moved away wtf? If it was any one of them, they would have gone back. killing oldest kid was also such a predictable move. The film focused on the middle child and Kiri. They weren't gonna kill off an 8 year old, so older kid it is. The moment Lo'ak tells his brother he isn't one, I knew he had to regret his words later on.
I'd kinda like to know what the relationship was like between Jake and his human family, like his own parents and Tommy, especially since Cameron wrote a script for Jake's background
I am at a bit of a loss. I have watched Avatar many, many times, and nowhere is there a sister who was killed. Please correct me if wrong, but I feel I wouldn't have missed something so important.
Grace mentions it when Jake is going back into the Avatar after being taken to home tree. Where Jake says he’s got a date with the chiefs daughter. Also the extended version of the film (which I highly recommend) has a scene where they actually go to the school.
Miles ‘spider’ was at first definitely not their adopted son. In the whole beginning in the movie Jake even says he got 4 kids. Not 5. This was when Tuk already existed, only in the end of the movie did they actually adopt spider as their son.
I’m not sure if I’m the only one who saw this but I think neytiri might be pregnant? When she’s positioning herself to shoot the arrow, you can see a little bump
Anyone else confused he just said they had three kids lo’ak, netyam, and tuktirey and adopted two. Then later he says that Tuk is their only bio kid? I’m lost
to clarify, miles is not apart of the sully's family, as he was never adopted by jake or neytiri. he was raised by the scientists as jake says. jake says that miles is not apart of their family, but is like a stray cat following them around.
I just found out who's Jake's and Tom's parents : *Camille Sully ( their mother )* *Damin Sully ( their father )* But, it is not yet known what their faces look like and *this is not 100% clarified.*
He has an avatar body in the sequel (shown in a trailer, so not a spoiler). I'm guessing they transferred his consciousness or memory over somehow, or he has a clone or something
Am I the only one who thinks Kiri looks like Norm? Maybe she is born from the DNA of both Grace and Norm's avatars? Don't ask me how that would be possible, hahaha
Neytiri: "Ma Jake, are we in some sort of trouble?" Jake: "Oh Neytiri, my loyal wife. Of course not.... And Kiri, my little Princess... and who could forget dear Monkey Boy?" Spider: "Monkey Boy?! I resent that!" *starts grawing on a Tree*

Interesting..
My god it sounds disgusting
@@ManiyaVinas Ya know the Dream Hunt had to be REALLY trippy.
Killing the eldest son of a great family, what is this Game of Thrones?
I REALLY hope not
Avatar was really ahead of its time with the graphics. I'm so excited to see how they improved their graphics.
Oh they fucking IMPROVED my goodness
Same.nothing to improve ! Avatar was already way ahead of its time
8:09 maybe they offer him a avatar because he just wants his mothers love and thinks having a Na'vi body will get him that
I was thinking, why don’t they make an avatar body for him? But then the humans probably wouldn’t be willing to do help by making the avatar body
maybe they don't have the technology anymore, since they fired the humans from Pandora. it's somehow already a miracle that they still manage to fill up/maintain his air container. he's like a handicapped child, who needs special requirement to survive/live a "normal" life. maybe that's also why Neytiri can't bond with him, on top of him being not from her blood.
you have to admit that you never saw handicapped navis in the first movie. does it mean they don't know illnesses? accidents? or do they just discard people with disabilities?... speaking, you rarely see people like this is native tribes, because they're dead already. i've read an interview of a native from an amazonian tribes, who was shunned because he was diabetic....
also, when someone is rejected from their family, sometimes their choose to break all ties with it. and i wouldn't be surprised if Miles decided to return to the human civilisation. he's still an adolescent, he takes radical decisions (that he might regret later...)
I'm thinking Kiri plays a big part in "Avatar 3: The Seed Bearer" or at least future films for the franchise. The story of her spiritual connection to Pandora doesn't go unnoticed.

Nah, more like that whole plot is gonna be the main part of the next film, they just gave us a taster.
And I feel like that’s what happening with Kiri possibly…
the RDA make corrupted copies of a deceased person (they are the evil), while Ewya, The Tree of Souls, can transfer the original PURE consciousness into a new form (they are the good). Quadritch represents the corrupted force while Grace represents the pure force.
Isnt part of growing up as a Navi connecting with the tree of souls aka uploading themselves or linking up with their past life...
Sounds absolutely trite, blunt and juvenile. I enjoy Cameron for his curiosity about cinema, but no one ever hailed him as an expert screenwriter. The plot you described is something I'd expect out of Cameron, but I hope that I'm wrong, I really do.
They left it hanging in the end of the movie....
i just finished avatar 2, i think it’s like you said, but stil idk
Wowww. This is best theory I've ever read so far. You are smart
When you think about it, all of Jake's kids are actually his brother's kids
no
Hmm yeah
Bruh.. what did I just see..😢
@@Escaperrealitynnow No.
After watching the movie, its impressive how much he got right, there was obviously some wrongs, like his theory about Spider, and why the water villiage is burning, but all in all he got an impressive amount of stuff right
Yup
6. Spider is Quaritch’s son

*After watching The way of water you're actually 90%-95% accurately correct about the family tree.*
About Kiri she can maybe talk to animals and understand animals and connect with ewya much better then anyone else because at 6:07 to 6:41 he/she talks about Kiri’s father and it could be ewya because grace is with ewya and her avatar is pregnant so after the failing of the Navi trying to save grace, she died and she where probably pregnant already so they had to get her baby out of the avatar after try to save grace or just before
Remember this is just a theory, I’d like to read you’re ones!
Rosalie this is actually a really good theory! Thank you for sharing! ❤
since i'm pretty down to earth, i'd rather go for a simpler explanation : Grace fell in love with a navi, had a baby with him, but then the school was shut and the navi guy fled with/hid the baby (other option : Grace asked him to hide their babygirl to protect her from the humans)
Grace died, became one with eywa, and communicates with her daughter through Pandora's biological network. maybe he conscience is stronger than the natives' and this is why she's able to do it? like, maybe it was thanks to grace that the whole fauna of Pandora came to the rescue during the final battle in the first movie.

Bro, it's amazing you can tell this plot correctly a month before the movie just out several days ago. I watched the Avatar 2 and there's only one word : Outstanding
Theres a lot more family drama in The Way of Water than most Cameron movies
The movie was more sad then anything especially because a lot of animals were hurt.
I cried the whole time
Yeah...so many unnecessary deaths to drive a point home...I cried the whole time, too 🥲💔!
The whaling scene in particular was really difficult to watch. 😕
Just realized that Avatar 2 comes out when my final exams for this semester are due. So sad I can’t see it on day one lol
Well, at least you'll see the movie on the big screen. I'm not sure because of the sanctions that I will watch it in the cinema😭
It's such a shame that after so many years of expectations, your dreams are being ruined.
Yeah lol
Still surprised jayce's avatar is fertile at all
Maybe they didn't know? The Na'vi don't breed like we do they use their tree-God... if the tree-god wills it, so it shall be...
Perhaps it’s actually a design feature? As you said. Avatars are super expensive to make on Earth and ship. I wouldn’t be surprised if they intended for the avatars to carry and birth new future blank avatars, or hell, to be fertile for experimental reasons.
It’s most likely based on Spain’s colonization and trying to wipe out the natives through intermarriage created more citizens loyal to Spain/Spanish rule through integration,
@@NaviRyan interesting take, very similar to early Hellenic expansion across the Mediterranean, Aegean, Ionian and black seas.
Neytiri being Prejudice against Miles just doesn't make sense. She fell for a human. And miles was too young at the main battle of the first movie
How are the oldest kids so old if the same amount of time has passed between the first and second movies as in real life? Do they age faster as kids, and then slows down when they get older?
They're not human, so no surprise they age differently.
James Cameron has said that 15 years have passed since the first movie.
Y’all were right
I am so excited. The only way to see the movie is at the theater. I
Can hardly wait. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
I’ve been misshearing Kiri’s name 😭
I first I thought it was Kittie
Then Katie
But I found out it was Kiri.
I also feel like that angle will make for conflict in later movies like Spider vs his father if he doesnt ever try to see the navi in a diffrent view.
i honestly can’t stand he was so heartless and narcissistic so many times throughout both films
Kind of off topic, but I'd love to understand why they made the Avatar's able to breed. I would think that how it is in real life, hybrid animals and clones are typically sterile. What kind of benefit would it be to make the Avatars produce sperm/eggs? Is this just a plot hole?
I think because technically they are not hybrids 50/50. They obviously have more Na'vi DNA with just enough human DNA to link.
Firstly, all hybrids being infertile is a common misconception. There is no law in biology that says that hybrids must be infertile, and the list of known species pairs that can produce fertile offspring counts in hundreds.
Some examples:
polar bears × brown bears
wolves × jackals
wolves × coyotes
spinner dolphins × stripped dolphins

An idea of how Miles might be manipulated; “Kid, you help us find them and we’ll get you an avatar.”
He’s the only human, and being able to have a body that closer resembles that of his non-human family would be a HUGE temptation.
Not only being closer to hi family but also not having the risk of death that comes with having a human body in such a hostile environment. He cant even breathe without that mask on...
i do think that will be part of the plot him possibly wanting his own navi body
Yeah, just as Jake getting his "real legs" back if he played nice with Quaritch. It could be that he is meant to mirror his adopted father in this way.

Idk why every thing is saying that Spider is one of their kids... he’s not! After seeing Avatar 2 you can tell he was sort of taken in but not really considered one of their kids. He’s more like the whole tribe\the remaining humans responsibility it’s just that he’s friends with Neytiri and Jakes kids that’s why he’s always around them. But I think the movie makes it clear that Spider is not considered one of the Sullys
Ummm this was amazing. Thanks so much for this. I’m super stoked for this!!!!
I can’t wait for this movie to come out. This looks so good 😊
God I really REALLY want to know either Spider was born from Neytiri or was adopted but the more I think about it it could be possible that Spider was definitely born from Neytiri I mean think about it obviously the humans don't show up until when the children are way older and the way Spider looks seems to be around his siblings age not only that where in the hell would they randomly find a human baby not from the humans since they left or the newer humans and also his skin if you look closely he has Na'vi patterning on his body and it doesn't look painted on at all so this must have been a 1 in a billion chance of one of Jake's children being born mostly Human which kind of sucks since he has to wear a mask and most likely those are rare I mean for all we know Eywa must have blessed Jake son being born human or somethin like that for plotwise reasons like Neytiri's hate towards humans and healing her pain from her past and most likely bring their family closer together.
Any thoughts?
I know that all the soldiers they fought left after the battle. I'm not certain if the humans who helped the Na'vi also left. If they did not, Spider could be the child of those allies.
This makes me wanna watch the movie even more 😍
mo'at is still alive in the second movie. she can be seen in one of the Trailers where jake and neytiri present one of their babies in some kind of a ceremony..

Miles, I think he is the son of Trudy. And I think he will save the Na'vi tribe which will makes Neytiri accept him.
Kiri, maybe will find out she is really Grace...
Trudy was killed in Avatar and was certainly not in any advanced stage of pregnancy when she was.
He's not, he was born on Pandora from a woman who was unknowingly pregnant before she left Earth and was 'frozen' in stasis within her on the six year voyage to Pandora, I think the new prequel comic coming out on the 6th of December shows this.

Their oldest also looks full Na'vi so your point is moot. She got her mother's genes, not her father's which is why she looks full Na'vi
it could be that she takes more after Neytiri than Jake considering that Jake is only half Navi makes sense that his genes would be the least Represented in their offspring.

This is one of the movie's you just know is going to be damn good!! We already reserved our tickets.
Here's is a idea
It only depends on how much of Jake's human body was paralyzed. What if jake had a kid right before he left for pandora and only briefly knew about the kid as soon as he left earth. So the rda use that kid as some avatar super weapon and use the knowledge of the kid being jakes to split the family up and beat them.
“I am with you now Jake, We are mated for life!!”
I love this line because it's a so romantic relationship and line!!😭😭😭😍😍😍
I wouldn't say Spider is their adoptive kid. I think he grew up with their tribe and was closest to Kiri, but adoptive kid? He was kidnapped and they left him there and moved away wtf? If it was any one of them, they would have gone back.
killing oldest kid was also such a predictable move. The film focused on the middle child and Kiri. They weren't gonna kill off an 8 year old, so older kid it is. The moment Lo'ak tells his brother he isn't one, I knew he had to regret his words later on.
BETTER THEN THE FIRST PART. GO AND SEE IT ON 3D. ITS AMAZING. ITS MAGIC
I really hope Spider doesn't betray the family 🙏
I love this video. This is amazing
Miles didn’t leave willingly they took him by force
In the movie with the extended scenes, it shows scenes that included the sister (these scenes were cut out in the regular movie)
you have to watch the extended version :)
I just watched avatar 2 and it is the best, I would recommend it

Miles ‘spider’ was at first definitely not their adopted son. In the whole beginning in the movie Jake even says he got 4 kids. Not 5. This was when Tuk already existed, only in the end of the movie did they actually adopt spider as their son.
a son for a son
I’m not sure if I’m the only one who saw this but I think neytiri might be pregnant? When she’s positioning herself to shoot the arrow, you can see a little bump
I've been waiting 14 years for that movie lol
Anyone else confused he just said they had three kids lo’ak, netyam, and tuktirey and adopted two. Then later he says that Tuk is their only bio kid? I’m lost
he said their only bio daughter, since the other 2 are sons :D
He said 2 adopted and 3 biological
He said only biological daughter not kid.
to clarify, miles is not apart of the sully's family, as he was never adopted by jake or neytiri. he was raised by the scientists as jake says. jake says that miles is not apart of their family, but is like a stray cat following them around.
I just found out who's Jake's and Tom's parents :

People forget that the colonel from the first film was killed by the combined efforts of Jake and Neytiri.
He has an avatar body in the sequel (shown in a trailer, so not a spoiler). I'm guessing they transferred his consciousness or memory over somehow, or he has a clone or something
Yeah I'm expecting it to be a twin brother who shared his ideals or a clone. It's not the original him though, that's certain.

Since you explain some of the story, now my interest is piqued. I was planning on skipping this, but now 👍. Hope it’s in 3D. My youngest broke my 3D tv but I have the blu ray of Avatar (and a few more) so I need to buy a 3D projector 📽 to add to my non-3D projector just for this movie.
