Good insights, nice interview. But I'm surprised Vikas didn't know about National Awards 🤔. I knew about this prestigious awards back from my school days since 80s.
That’s what I was thinking too.. even school kids know its importance & he is a highly educated guy!
Vikas wants to act naive but he lobbied enough to get his chillar film an award because National Award is not given on merit alone
i still remember queen made a lot of eyeballs that time in 2014 when it release though it wasnt a big film nd after release kangna came back strongly nd became a leading heroine star who can pull off without a hero any film after that....even it became best film that year though pk,haider,ugly nd many great films made that year

I was desperately waiting for this interview. Queen is such a masterpiece, I think I have watched it more than 100 times. Whenever I'm down, sad, I feel no hope it's Queen I prefer to watch. Also again Siddharth, the way you connect with people, bring out their emotions out is really great! Vikas is such an intelligent and down to earth person. We want to watch more of his movies ❤ Also the way Salman Khan saved chillar party, is really appreciable
Queen was not directed by him but his 1st AD and his DOP who passed away before the film released Mr. Bobby Singh

Isko Direction ka D nahi aata hai. Ye sirf project banata hai aur producer ke budget se choorata hai aur Direction team puri film shoot karti hai. Ye sirf style marega aur laundiya bazi karega. Vikas Dalla sahi naam hona chahiye

I would have respected him more if he took ownership of GANPAT. But he came with ailly excuses. For mw he will always be known as the director, screenplay and script pioneer of GANPAT
I think this director always tries to cast antithesis actors. Hear me out, he casted Kangana for queen, who was doing movies like gangster, fashion, krish, Tanu weds Manu. All characters are twisted, aggressive, etc. But in queen he showed her as a very simple person, who is so naive. Similarly, Hrithik roshan in super 30, who’d imagine him being a school teacher in Bihar. Finally, madhavan, who so lovable, heroic.. is now playing shaitaan.
His one trick right here. He loves to cast the antithesis.
