the difference is Spielberg and Coppolla homaged Kurosawa but also made innovative and groundbreaking stuff. meanwhile Sanjay Gupta's entire career is just build on the plagiarism of Quentin Tarantino and John Woo, and so many other hollywood films which were flopped at the box office or obscure. he thought if he copies from flops movies, nobody will notice it 💀. like Kaante is just such a obvious scene to scene remake of Reservoir Dogs, but he has never admit that, even tho Quentin Tarantino himself is so humble that he said he liked Kaante and preferred it over his own movie. mtlb banda ek toh copy karta hai uper se saale ka pride bhi alag se hai

Hollywood ne Oldboy ki remake banai, Sanjay Gupta ne b banai (Zinda) and usne Park Chan-Wook ko original story ke liye mention b Kiya hai. Kaante is more of a re-imagining of Reservoir dogs, which Tarantino also liked and praised. There is a huge difference between Remake and copy. Agar Gupta scene to scene, frame to frame and dialogues to dialogue exact banaye film banata tab woh Copy kehlata hai. Kaante is a Classic, Shootout films are classic. Every film is taken from, inspired from, somewhere else. Tu aaj original script bana hi ni sakta. Deekhane ka Tareeka bas badal sakta hai...

I did go for the hearsay and the view portrayed by some in the industry and I am soooo wrong! I wish i had seen it in the cinema. It is great acting by Ranbir and Anil Kapoor stood out too. Cinematography, fast paced screenplay kept me involved till much after the titles run and into 'Animal Park' the next one that shall also blow the audiences. Most of all, its absolutely well done execution by the director, Sandeep Vanga Reddy. You sir, if reading this must take a bow!

Great interview Siddharth. Although most of his films are more of style than substance, I have always liked Sanjay's brand of movie making. Kaabil, I hated the trailers but was pleasantly surprised and was thoroughly entertained when I watched it in theatre after it's release. Haan, sabse zyada credit should go to Hrithik for his phenomenonal performance but yes for one of my all time favourites Kaante, it got to be Gupta who needs to be revered to the hilt for his vision. Sanjay Dutt never looked so dishy as he looked in Kaante. Even Tarantino acknowledged that among all the remakes or adaptations (whatever we call it) of his cult Reservoir Dogs, Kaante is his most favourite. That film is still criminally underrated.

Aamir Khan is always ahead of his time , aaj jo log content cinema ki baat karte hai , vo aamir jo jeeta wahi sikandar se karte aaya hai , aaj bhi laal singh ke flop hone ke baad bhi vo sitare zameen par drama film kar raha hai , he was always trend setter.

Get your facts checked. Which movies made Aamir trend setter???.
Jo jeeta wohi Sikandar copy of foreign movie. Ghajni copy, Taare Zameen par was directed by Amol Gupta whose credit Aamir stole. 3 idiots novel adaptation. Now Sitaare zameen pe copy of Spanish movies
      Where is originality??

      @@TuLips-gx3gl hater spotted !!
Jjws was an adaptation movie is correctly mapped in Indian culture ,
It was trend setter for Indian cinema not for world cinema
In 90s every 2nd movie was copied or inspired from Hollywood movies,
Amol.gupte himself said that after a week of shooting aamir was not happy with the shoot then both decided that aamir will direct further
Now , do you really understand difference between script and novel !!
So according to you Forrest gump was also a copy movie as it was based on novel !!
      😂😂😂
That's what come when you hate someone blindly
He was and he is the biggest trend setter in Indian cinema along with Kamal Hasan
      Now agree or die

      @@moviecric700 Sorry to inform the I m not a blind hater, I m a rational thinker.
A copy movie like JJWS becomes trend setter for World cinema, Wow wht logic. Tell me which movie on cycling became world cinema after JJWS??
Taare Zameen par was offered to Akshay Khanna a more emotional & sensitive actor than Aamir. But Aamir removed him and took the credit. Amol Gupta made Stanley ka Dabba and proved tht he was the director of TZP. There are video's available in RUclips proving Amol Gupta truth.
Forest Gump is adaptation but Lal Singh is copy Forest Gump movie. The writer Kulkarni himself said after watching gump he wrote the script. So it's a copy. Now if you have then come for debate otherwise keep buttering Aamir Khan.

Darna Mana Hai, on the other hand was kick-ass at whole.
