My mom used to watch Shanti and Swabhimaan when she was young and I watch everything Anurag is associated with now including Aaliyah’s vlogs which i immensely enjoy! Can’t wait to watch Haddi and Kennedy🤗

I lost her to CA a decade back . Now i watch movies only on the OTT platforms by myself . Anurag is a maverick but the most talented film maker .
Anurag sir, is in my opinion the most prolific filmmaker and an actual lover of Indian cinema, I love him talking. And this adds up so well because he's in conversation with our loving Broacha.
Loved Anurag's mention of Majboor. Obscure trivia about the 'looking through telescope hands' gesture which he used, Pran himself copied that from the film's director, who used the gesture to frame his shots (as opposed to simulating a rectangular frame with his fingers back in the old days). He would adjust his fist size to simulate different lens sizes. AK is probably aware of this filmy trivia.
This makes the podcast legitimate. Anurag is one of the best filmmakers in the country and he is so chill, without airs. I have known some elites chuts who loved Dabaang more than gangs of wasseypur. It an iconic movie and I hope Anurag would keep making anti establishment movies which show real facets of human existence. Hats off to you guys. This podcast has come a long way.

Majboor is probably the most intriguing movies Amitabh ever did. I saw it when I had passed my 10 class way back in 2002 on a tv channel. Also movie with great script is Baazi starring Dharmender and Waheeda Rehman

Though I absolutely appreciate Abbas's knowledgible questions, I feel this should have been a normal Cyrus Says where he interacts wtih the guest on his own and Abbas comes at the end with the AMAs. No one watches Cyrus Says for deep insights into the life of the guests; we just watch it for the funny banter between Cyrus and the guest.
Anurag is mistaken about his own film's censor certificate. Return of Hanuman actually received a U certificate, not U/A as he claimed. While I understand his criticism of the censor board, it's important to avoid spreading incorrect information.
Vijay Verma is dating Tamannah and it is rumoured that AK asked Tamannah out during her shooting of entertainment movie with Akshay Kumar. She might have or have not slapped him. So may be that's the reason.
