    Could you show more video of the actual device? I mostly just saw u talking.

      In Part 2, pretty much all you see is the device, and that goes on for over an hour. My third video, which will come out in a week, will focus on app performance and will also be device centric. So, yes.

    Yay! Excited for you enjoying 3C (good idea for this nickname). I watched all your videos mostly about Boox ereaders. I was leaning more towards NoteAir2+ then 3C came. Good thing I wait. And will be more patient for more reviews of 3C in your channel and ask questions that may come up before I empty my budget for gadgets 😅. (I’m also going to buy Durgod/Royal Kludge TKL mechanical keyboard.)
    Unfortunately we don’t have Boox on Amazon Canada. There are only case and Kindles.

      I like filming my videos, but knowing that I'm helping folks learn about these devices, both good and bad, is really cool.

    I was scared when I saw You trying to eject the card tray. The correct process is to push in the hole with the ejection tool until the tray pops out.

    Yes, I hate the case for this. It might be fine as a stand and secure as a case, but it's fugly and doesn't fold back nicely. A folio please.

    In the battery test, it might be worth considering charge time. This is the one area where my early experience is a reality check vs my apple devices.

      Thanks for suggesting that. I wasn't planning to do that, but it sounds like a great idea.

      That's what I was thinking, it is 15W. Not exactly fast, but at least it's not 10W.
      Likely to land in the 70-90 minute zone, which is okay.

    Just got mine, first e-ink tablet…thing kept locking up on me. Sent it back.

      I filmed a video this morning and had two locking issues. The first one was kind of strange, but I just needed to press the power button and then pressed again to come back and that fixed it. Then I had an issue when I logged into Google Play for the first time. So far I'm not concerned, but I'm keeping my eye on that.

    Can I charge it with my smartphone charger? Will it harm the battery?

    • @jeffreymoss
      @jeffreymoss  10 месяцев назад

      Probably. It just uses a USB-C cable (that is to say, a USB-A to USB-C). You can plug the USB-A into your computer or a power outlet for faster charge. I recommend the computer, as it will provide a slow charge that seems to keep the battery in good shape and doesn't overheat (it stops charging when full). Presumably using an outlet with a USB-A connection would work fine too, but I don't have much experience with that and that don't know the long-term effects.

    I think it's very unfortunate that a company like Boox just lies about the weight. I wouldn't buy it anymore for that reason alone. Hope they watch your video and adjust it. In any case, I'm going to email them about this.

      Dude - a company on the other side of the planet invests millions in developing multiple revolutionary technologies just for you, crams them into a sleek tablet the thickness of a magazine, and you choose to focus on and be upset about a weight measurement being off by a few grams? Jeez. Maybe there's context I'm missing, but if this really something worth getting annoyed about?

      That's not the point. I think what is written on the packaging should be correct. I almost always buy my equipment (also) by weight because I have to travel far by public transport,@@CarsonBirdD
