Obviously the story is made up, actors do that quite often to engage in entertaining conversations during talk shows. Their lives are bit different than normal peoples lives, but they are still human and not every aspect of them is about their popularity, but its what people like to hear the most about their favorite actors

Your usually pulled over or done for anything more than 10% over the speed limit. So you only need to be doing 34 in a 30 to get booked.
