Though obviously, my sense of pitch is good enough that I learned to play four musical instruments including the violin, but between my housemate who winces every time I don't hit a note cleanly, and after 30+ years of hearing that from my mother, I keep my singing for when I am alone these days. Singing (just in church and for fun), I always felt a little lost as a female with a lower voice, and tons of sinus issues, who sometimes struggled to even hit alto parts. I sang along with Coach Jeremy just now and only stopped about 4ish changes above him on the lower register. But I've never explored my lower register as much since I always feel like I'm trying to "catch up" with singers who have a much higher range than me. My range is still pretty small, I think, compared to other folks out there, but thanks so much for this video! Very helpful! It really makes me want to get vocal coaching. My complete vocal range is from E2 to B5 including al registers even falseto. My chest/mixed/belting register goes from E2 to E5, but my tessitura is from A2 to C#5 confortable zone in mixed voice/belting), but I don’t usually belt higher than C5. My head voice goes up to F#5 and my falseto up to B5 the best days, but usually up to A5.

@@isabellarios2005 If you search for "chromatic tuner" in the Play Store (or apple store I guess) you'll find apps that are for tuning instruments etc, these work great! I prefer one named "Chroma | Chromatic Tuner". It has a green and white logo and is from a publisher named "CoffeePods". As for online piano, go to www.onlinepianist.com/virtual-piano . Hit the button named "letter notes" and hit the "zoom out" to get a full piano. When you press a key, the whole name of the note played will be displayed in the top left. :)

Last time I measured my full range was G2 - C5. This was capped at "Comfortable" singing range. I didn't break it up into registers though. I just hit the notes with whatever register felt most comfortable. I think I hit C5 with either a mix or head voice. G2 was chest, obviously. I don't think I ever tested my highest chest note. Anyway, this was a couple years back, but now that I have over 10 years self-taught singing experience (and more practice with my head voice thanks to emulating soprano opera music) I wonder where I stand now. (It's too late at night to practice but I will update soon.)

I find it hard to use my voice properly. If someone asked me to sing 'normal' to test my range, I would probably have 2 octaves. But if I'm messing around with different tones and approaches, different genres of music etc, I can mix way up my head voice and probably sing closer to 4 octaves. After years I've still never been able to incorporate the mixed notes in a reliable way into my register, and when I attempt covers I mimic the singer's approach and it usually doesn't work.

F#2-G#4(chest/mix)-Eb5(head)-G5(falsetto)On good days I can mix up to an A4 and my head voice goes up to F5(singable, not doable) but that's pretty much about it. (Before puberty screwed me over I was able to go up to C6 in falsetto, but here we are now🤦)

try using a different tonality when approaching higher notes. Think Britney Spears esk or a better example is Rose from BlackPink. When I sing high notes, using my normal tone I can't hit them but if I try to adopt a different tone I usually can cause it forces me to use different muscles
