A brilliant Philip Kaufman film from 1983 much underrated with a fantastic cast the story of the mercury astronauts. WB it should have had a 4k release for your 100th year. And a Ladd company film as well.
Looks like a bit of Imax 15perf used as threading leader. 1:29. Regardless of being a blow up or faded, the magnetic sound usually makes up for any visual shortcomings.

I agree, it should have gotten a 4K release. They could make a great sound mix for it, using a 6 track print as a source. Thanks for watching! Cheers
Thank you, Clark.
No problem, Cheekster. Cheers

What a lovely screening it was. Great video, Clark
Cheers Rhett! Glad you enjoyed it. Have a good one!
This a great movie. I would love to see this on film. (or own it)
sure is a great movie. Thanks for watching! Hope you get to own a print of it someday! I know they're out there
Love the video and the cinema, have to visit soon. But the leader you lace up with at the start (0:28) looks like an IMAX frame or am I mistaken?
Yes it was discarded Imax film.
