I will never forget the episode of MaCenna tearing apart that kitchen herself. It really showed me how the things we’re told as consumers/homeowners are only as limiting/costly as we need them to be. Enough research can lend itself to some amazing savings, and MaCenna’s salvage level with the floors and windows has been so amazing to see. I can’t wait to see what happens during the rest of 2021 and into the new year! 🏠 ❤️ 🎉

My Girlfriend and I just bought a house! It was built in 1917 AND during the inspection the guy mentioned it had the weights in the windows and asked if we knew how those worked because one needed fixed. It was such a good feeling to both be like yep we know what we're getting into before he had a chance to explain it all. The only reason we know is from watching you tirelessly take apart and paint the windows 😂 pretty much like we've done it already!!

Almost an hour of MaCenna's content! I feel so lucky! Can't believe that content like this is free for us and I feel so grateful to have found this channel during the lockdown in 2020. As women.. we normally aren't taught how to do things like this... I'm thankful that my Mother and Father taught us how to do DIY's ...how to look at things and see how to fix them, how to measure and make things the way we want them to be! I joined you on this journey last December when you were sharing your Holiday decorating and New Year videos. What a awesome year you have been doing so much and building your dream Cottage. The MaCenna who started the year has changed and grown so much stronger and more confident in refining and growing her skills. You started off needing some more help and now if time wasn’t a factor I’m sure that you would do everything but you have learned to give the bigger projects to other and focus your energy on refining the details and saving thousands through all the blood sweat and tears that you have poured into the cottage. Never stop striving to be proud of all of your hard work.

I absolutely loved vogmas and your RUclips channel as a whole. I started watching your RUclips channel because I loved all of your Boho DIY projects that you were doing to your LA home. When you bought the house in Texas, I couldn't wait to see you decorate the 110 year old house. Now, I am obsessed with watching you doing all the renovations you've done. I'm so impressed at how you tackle new projects every week. I am so proud of all you have accomplished this year. I feel like we're building this house together ❤ 😌 even though,
you don't even know me. You make me feel like I'm a part of your family. Speaking of family, it always warms my heart to see you with your mom because you can feel the love and joy that you have being with each other. You two are two goof-balls with each other( please don't be offended, I say that with sincere love and respect for the two of you) it shows a genuine love for each other that oozes off the screen. It makes me think of fond memories of my mom and I when she was alive, we did alot of things you do with your mom. She passed away of breast cancer 17 years ago. It's because of her that I absolutely love, love, love to thift shop. So I've become even more obsessed with your channel. I love it when you shop together. I have one request is that you make thrift shopping with mom a part of your vog in the future. It does not have to be all the time but whenever you guys feel like it. It would be a treat. You guys come alive when you're together and it's fun to watch. I know mom said she is retired but we would love to keep seeing her beautiful smiling and laughing face full of pure joy. Plus, I would like to see more of her stunning artwork as well (this is coming from a fellow artist myself 🎨 I am a painter as well. We have so many things in common that's why I watch so much. Watching this summary made me cry in reflection. I’ve been through SO much this year in regards to my health and often wondered if I’d make it through. One of the constants has been your channels that have given me so much peace, inspiration, and friendship through my struggles and now my year is ending with my husband and I buying our first home! Thank you friend for making this content and sharing your life and projects with us. For many of us it’s the peace we need and we are so grateful. 💕

I’ve been watching every episode and I’m almost as excited as you to see it’s completion, but so far you and your “crew” have accomplished an incredible amount in just one year. Those bloopers were hysterical!! How you did all this and edited and made videos every day is too much to even comprehend.
MaCenna, even though I watched all of this Renovation along the way. Its so incredable how far you and this house have come! My family owns a house, which we have been renting out the last years (a two Appartement House). I lived there with my Boyfriend for some time too.. we loved our first Appartement together but the rooms are designed really bad, they don't really make any sense. So we never thought about living there permanently. But after seeing you do all of this and making this cottage your dream house, it just made me think about it differently. I came up with some ideas to make this whole house work out for us to live in and make it into our home. So this is what we are going to do! You are a true inspiration to me and i think to all of us! Omg! I’ve been watching before you bought the house, but this flashback was such a trip. This year felt like it both flew by and was slow at the same time. Seeing the beginnings again just really shows us the progress you’ve made 🥳 You don’t know many of us personally, but I bet many people like myself feel like we’ve been on this journey with you and we are so proud of the accomplishments thus far! Sometimes it helps to take a look back to remind you how far you've come. I don't think I ever missed a video, but it's crazy to see how much you have done. You inspire me to continue with my own house reno project. I've done everything myself, no help at all, and I'm pushing 60 with bad knees. It might take me another year or two, but I'm determined!
