The house is coming along fantastically. I love the very ending of this video. It reminded me of the time I went to Home Depot to get wood cut for a project and got into a disagreement with the guy cutting my wood because he was trying to tell me how to do the project which I had mapped out. I don’t know why men think women can’t build things or paint.
So glad you are back. Just wasn't the same without MaCenna daily uploads. We need your positivity and enthusiasm to cheer us up. House is looking fantastic as the colour is uniting old and new. Watching you use that sprayer is so satisfying.

I've always been a DIYer but you've inspired me to do more. I just purchased the floor from a basketball court in a school that was torn down. I'll be spending the summer milling it all to use as the ceiling on our wrap around porch. So happy you're back to uploading!

My dad always use to say to us kids there’s no such word as can’t. He was right those words stayed with me all my life and my brother and sister also. We all can do everything. Painting’ upholstery, plumbing, electrical work, gardening you name it. I think you must have had some encouragement from you parents you remind me of me when I was young. I built sth for my home this weekend. When I got to buy the wood, it was a lot and really heavy. Since I do not own a car, I had do go 2km with all the wood home. And you know what mantra I had? “You can do anything, you set your mind to.” Always remembering you and your mum putting up the walls. So Thank youuuuuu!!! ❤️
I’ve painted my 1911 house 3 times over the years. With a brush mind you. I was told that painting was mans work by others. WHAT! 💪🏻

I can definitely tell a difference on the whites! As someone who also lives in an old, white house it is amazing what a coat of paint can do, and which white you use makes such a difference!

Would you ever consider painting the fish scales a sage green? Benjamin Moore has green as their color of the year for 2022!!!
So glad you’re back…. If you want to paint under your trim, don’t forget to paint a final coat once it’s installed, the paint helps prevent water getting behind the trim pieces.

I do see the warmer, creamy colour of the white dove compared to the primer. But mostly what I see in that part of the video is a man who just loves his girlfriend. I get the sense that Romeo would let you paint the house any damn colour of the rainbow and he’d be there helping you sand the walls. He’s like “yes, it’s white. Great!” Not that different to the undercoat, but he can see that the difference is important to you. It’s so heartwarming!

Welcome back we missed you! I LOVE White Dove - the entire inside of our house is that color. It's such a beautiful white and goes with warm or cool colors.
when the sun started to go down I could really see the warmth in the paint color compared to the blue undertone of the primer, I bet it's gorgeous IRL

Spray gun wastes a bit more paint than just using a brush so that’s probably why it seems like two gallons would have been enough for the black window trim but ended up being 3 windows short! Glad to see you’re back! Hope your break was relaxing!
