As someone who experienced Narcissistic abuse and has researched about this disorder for years, i would like to say that Narc abuse and Domestic violence are not the same. this situation sounds very much like narcissistic abuse and not just domestic violence. Narcissists are the nicest people outside the home, depending on what type of narcissism the person has you might sense their arrogance if you sit with them long enough. although most narcs are super nice and undetectable outside the home. 2. The annoying thing here is how people are defending an obvious truth.. most women use the children as a way to punish the husband during divorce. The father told the son to go jump in front of a moving truck and kill himself. It was during the interview that the son found out the types of abuse and the details of the split between the mother and the father. The father had the two eldest children during for years before the mother finally got them and he manipulated them too during that time.
