- • I've lived in my apartment for 6 months now, however, it feels more like bachelor pad than a family home. So, I started to make a few changes and bring some more life into the place.

I am living in my family home that I lived in as a child .I actually never moved out . I was mum's carer until she moved into aged care .
So I went from the child to being a carer of my mum who had dementia.
Living in the home changed from just having my bedroom to having the entire house.
I gradually got rid of the idea that this is the way Mum and Dad had it .
I went through the phase of it being a bachelor pad to what it is now my home and being easily cared for.
It sounds like you have a really lovely home
It is just a small house I did not mean to ramble on it was your comment about living in a bachelor pad that made me want to comment on how my living conditions changed
Great vid 👍 Definitely improved that wall
Thanks 👍
hang up some family photos in the living room! lovely home xx
Good idea, and thank you!
I'm happy to see you back on track, mate. Keep pursuing what you're passionate about. By the way, I just noticed, are you left-handed?
Yes, I am Left-Handed
Lovely cats. What are they called?
8-Ball & Cow
What you’ve done so far is looking amazing dont lose motivation! That wall could do with some colour either a big colourful art print or wall hanging or paint it a warm colour and add a few plants.
Put some cat walkways and shelving up for them to keep them and give them your attention. This will stop them from getting bored and destroying the house.
If you want to open windows you can get this mesh for your windows which velcros on. Yes these things cost money but so do pets they are a commitment. Take care of them and you will reap the rewards of meaningful relationships with your pets.
With the tv unit it’s hard to see it in the room as you didn’t show the room. I would say think about how you are using it at the moment? Do you get everything you need from it? Or does it’s useage irritate you? Do you not like it’s appearance? Balance these things out.
Hope this helped! Can’t wait to see how it progresses
I appreciate this, thank you ❤ I didn't want to show the whole living room as it was and usually is a mess thanks to the love of children and cats 😂😂 I've thought about doing cat shelves etc. My only concern is them jumping off and landing on the TV or my child.
