Marky boy is a thorough guy on the job. He lubed everything, didn't get bored and skip a few. This clip is a good tribute to his skill. He's working on a vast range of motors day to day. That's a lot of knowledge
Salvage rebuilds UK channel had one of these in the other month & a very similar situation & it turned out to be the cam lobes had moved as the lobes are only pressed on & no forged. Great channel guys❤️it
That Ken & Norman filter speaks volumes to me. Firstly they let more crap in, as well as air, secondly, instant high revs off the lights and all the stresses it places on the engine. Go back to stock, or if you want more “power” fit a bigger van/truck standard air filter (like a ducato). Great video, Marky is a top bloke. I’d like to see a tool box tour, very American, but I saw you carrying a load of US Pro tools in an early video, so kinda interested on the “mix” of tools use lot ‘av.
Well done. I had a 14 plate Fiat Fiorino with the same engine that had a failed oil pump right at the beginning of lockdown in 2020. The garage I used replaced the pump and fitted a new chain only to discover afterwards that the engine was knocking so they ended up having to replace the engine and wrote off the labour costs for the original failed attempted repair.
Hey James loving your marky mark instructions to make a temporary engine support bar not having the bespoke made item- when I started at 16 as an commercial fitter the scenario was we can make that! Or if we broke down in the desert could we get over problems and get home that ethos has made me make stuff required mend all great videos boyz now my favourite channel 💯👈🏻🇬🇧👍🏻
State of that oil filter. I swear majority of these engine rebuild cases it's the same reason; skinflints skipping a £25 oil change! Enjoyed video, keep it up.
The usual lack of oil maintenance not getting em serviced is nearly always the reason engines pack up.these fiat multi jets are very reliable if you look after them I've seen them with 200k still running well.
if you have the sump off knowing that you have a oil pump problem you need to check the main bearings whats the point of fitting a new oil pump to what could be a scrap
Seem to have issues with injectors these fiat diesel mine has on my swift ddis it went in for leaking copper seal and now got a faulty injector possibly.?
Hi,i have Fiorino 1.3 Euro5 with 75hp.I have problem , when i startup car ,engine knocking and knocking noise after some minute are disappearts but after 3-4min i have blue smoke and car engine rpm jump from 800rpm to 1000rpm.I have check 3 times injector(in Bosch servise),new timing chain, new glow plugs, new DPF.Oil is always on max. When car litle get worm all is OK.Also I have buy new MAP,MAF and new oil separator. Can you please help me?Thanks
Ours smoked for a few days after use, it seamed the van kept spraying diesel in the catalytic to clean it, you may just need to give it a good run for a few days
modern cars with built in problems , you would never here of rusty sumps , years ago , cheap thin metal now ,and as for internal clutch slave cylinders , what a clever design , to increase workshop prices ! an outside cylinder would take 40 minutes , interesting channel , these modern cars are designed to die young !
By the way the same van on salvage rebuilds had injecter problems not the problems u got so people need to get there facts right I follow salvage rebuilds and watch all they do

Nice to read a sensible and honest comment about these FPT / GM engines rather than just slagging them off.
