Colours don't matter on the cat5 connection so long as both ends support Auto MDIX which basically anything built in the last 20 years will support. When I did my CCNA course they harped on about crossover and straight through cables like your life depended on it, meanwhile in the real world everyone had moved on. Auto MDIX works by probing the other side to see whether it has been wired back to front (like a crossover cable) or randomly by a sparky trolling his viewers.

Hi, I just watched your short video on a customers charger only charging one car, well I had exactly the same problem. The issue was one of my EV was going into sleep mode. I would plug in about 4pm schedule to charge at midnight by this time the EV went into sleep mode and would accept the charge. Hypervault logged into my charger remotely and changed some settings now works fine.

getting a bit tired of seeing so many chargers come to market and they expect you to complete a training course for each brand. It feels like each time a customer buys a weatherproof socket you need a training course for the brand of socket! I know its more than a socket but bloodyell, each week another one pops up!

Neat job, haven’t seen too many Indra chargers, I think the Zappi’s and Ohmes are taking the lion share of work.

Lol how can indra get angry when they sale the product and provide training. Training obviously isn't that good if the installers think they have to call to commission the product. Great video really enjoy the content

Do you have to install the stuffing gland or is that just personal choice? Will silicon not be enough?

Hey there, noticed the bin at the start says Hampshire, could you give me a quote to install a charger at my house in Ferndown if I supply the charger? About 30 mins from Southampton :)
I have a 100A main fuse and the meter box would be less than 10 meters from where I want the charger. I'd like to go the route of having one of those outdoor PEN-Fault protected mini consumer units installed next to the meter box.
    Thanks!

Little giant steps…. I found they weigh a ton compared to normal steps & have an extremely annoying loud click bar installed on the last step which is irritating if your up and down a lot or trying to keep noise down if a customer works from home

PS do away with the hook as that rubber boot gets water ingress, when my spark was installing mine had to call them because of tech and my voltage was 252v on my supply, I’ve changed my earth arrangement for TT instead of PME Indra tech didn’t want the charger settings changed for a TT so I told the spark keep it as a TT as the system is a TT not a PME and I want it wired as such, I polled my Shelly devices and they registered spikes of 254.5v at points which as far as the spark said would have cut out the charger. After months of chasing the DNO I got them to tap the line now max volts 250v. PS my spark was using the engineers portal to commission he was a good lad showed me it as he was going through it .

Absolutely horrendous chargers ! Connectivity on them is years behind, generally very poor in comparison to what else is on the market ! Red flashing lights will be the tamper sensor, poor placement on both the Smart Pro and the Smart Lux which might I add is just the Smart Pro in a different case. I don’t hate Indra by the way. Just have no time for poor products which unfortunately they are in my professional opinion.
