- NOTE" disconnect batteries from each other after each use to avoid damaging the batteries. You could do 2 - 12 volts to make it 24 volt. It makes a huge difference. Be careful out there.

Great video btw, I know you mentioned you cut the connector from the other battery but would you happen to a link on where I can find that plug? I will buy a 6V battery from Fisherprice which will come with a plug but I would need the opposite plug to plug into the 6V exactly like your video. Thanks.
Joe N the Fisher price receptor connected I cut off a little 3 wheeler power wheel I had. You can try buying a charger, it has the same connection you need and it's 13 bucks here.

You might wanna try and rubberize her tires for better traction for better control.
How long did the stock motor last with this battery combo? Looking to do it for my kids escalade too
It still works, the batteries I replaced once. but still works till this day. I do suggest going with 2- 12 volt batteries, it will go much faster, and maybe rap some rubber around the tires too, for grip.
Great video - thanks - quick question what is that little black connector called as I want to buy one?
thanks
Albert Barette it is the connection that came with another power wheel. I just cut it and used it for this one. remember to connect it in sequence, positive to negative. or it won't work right.
I tried it and it worked great! Thanks alot!
Did this wreck the gears? I have the exact same car for my son
nope, No damage. Still runs.
Do you use the same charger (12v) to charge the smaller battery??
no the smaller one i charged with a little tykes battery charger. its better to just get a second bigger battery because its faster.
Underbeneathground thanks for fast reply!!!
Cool
did you take the 2nd speed lockout screw out too?
No
@@Animatoooner its just that wierd long random screw near the base of the shifter if anyone was wondering. but hey atleast there is no random ceramic resistor hidden in there
@@mcmaar8191 I actually converted to a full size car battery and put it in the back of the power wheel underneath the speakers
(-) of 12v battery connect to (+) of 6v battery. And (+) of 12v battery connect to a fuse 40A right? Do i need change 12v motor, circuit board..? Thanks for 're clip and sorry for my bad english.
Battery Connector Positive + (splices) to negative - of other battery connector. No fuse needed, no motherboard change!
Thanks. I don't know you feel like me or not. Parts such as motors, wires and circuits heat up very quickly and are 30 degrees warmer than they were before.
Do you know what’s the extra black line?
not sure what you mean.
