Kurt mimics the meat puppets when he not trying show his full range.
That is extremely insightful. I could not put my finger on it. He is modulating a tone or something like that. Searching for the right path... One of the many keys to his genius is finding the right delivery. He seems to have an acoustic demo for almost every song, which I think is amazing. He even writes quite a bit of the bass and drum parts. I've noticed that his full range isn't used until the lyrics are finalized. Correct me if I'm wrong...

Beautiful version of something in the way. As a musician myself who makes recordings of ideas when they pop up, I don't know how curt himself would feel about some of this stuff being released. Personally I would be horrified.

It's from the Live Tonight Sold Out DVD. It's not actually called Halloween Song, it's just a nickname some people give it since it was recorded near Halloween, there isn't an official title for it.
I'm sure someone has uploaded it to RUclips, let me know if you find it. If you can't then I will try to find it for you

On the live tonight...sold out video you can see/hear Kurt playing this riff during backstage footage of members of L7 etc. It was a tour Nirvana done with L7 in europe shortly after Dave joined. I think its the same audio.

I’m sure they’re all out there, Courtney sold those a long time ago when she ran out of money. She ran out of money again recently so if there were more we would definitely know.
