Small things make a really big impact. I know too many talented people who cannot find things in archives because they don't have / lack a sensible naming and organizing method. Perhaps they even lose data and brilliant work because of a small shortcoming that they are not aware of. Thank you, a Midwest human who is turning a Photography vocation into an occupation. Br3nt.
I have for some time adopted this file naming convention and reverse date order makes total sense to keep them in chronological order. Having as much information in the filename as possible is perfect as most operating systems have good search capability in their file management. I use NameThatFile software, which lets me name files using templates/schemes, and use customisable lists of repeatedly used entries. NameThatFile is also able to sort these files into folders and subfolders according to those names.
i know im asking randomly but does someone know of a trick to get back into an instagram account? I was dumb forgot the login password. I would love any assistance you can offer me!
Excellent, many thanks! I have decided to implement the following name convention for my personal files: Date_Category_File Name. I'll also follow your suggested way to date files. Cheers - Dave
I think it is great your talking about this! This is sadly not a popular enough subject, for something everyone needs to know. I recommend not using the onboard mic, and maybe some on screen examples
