I've seen people use isopropal alcohol to temporarily dissolve the glue on labels and then re-activate them. One instance, somebody did this with a Hotwheels car to modify it and make it appear to have a factory defect by removing a tire, and then resealed the package.
So I was watching this dude repaired DS games a couple years ago. He used one of those heating mats that you normally use for screen replacements. He must have had it on the lowest setting cuz I got one of those and they get really hot
My only excuse is that I was recording with my phone :D and I just looked it up now, oh... 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Well, now I know why it wasn't doing anything lol
The gel super glue that Dollar tree has. It gives you a bit more time to work with it and is a lot easier to remove
