I've got my leather ready to go. Wonderful silent video, easy to follow. Thanks for making it so easy to follow!🪡🔨

*It went through for me by adding another pattern for $6.50. It actually works out as if you did a "buy one take one " deal.*

The popup for the next video obscures the final step to finish off the strap.

Can not order on your ETSY site... Message says "order too low $$)...
What can we do to order?

Yeah me too, you have to add a different pattern to your cart from leather hub and then add the 18 cent one and it'll work. So you have to spend more to get it 🤷‍♀️. It went through when I did it that way lol.

I like this project, but is single seam has enough strength for handle?

    • @Amanda-hy3ni
      @Amanda-hy3ni 2 года назад

I was thinking about adding a couple Chicago screws/ extending the handle some on the inside? Or maybe adding a second row of stitches? 🤔

I just bought this pattern, and that was my first thought as well. Plan on making it two layers on the handle with some nylon reinforcement between them. Also need to figure out how to add at least one inside pocket, and work in a closure at the top.

I guess we're all having the same issue with the pattern purchase.

I’ve never bought a piece of leather this size. Can anyone recommend a source and size to buy? Thanks

Would love to get this pattern but when I try to order it won’t go through. This is the reason
    We cannot process your order.
Your order total is too low to be completed.
    Any ideas?

I would love to see a video dedicated to how to do the saddle stitch on this project. I haven’t seen instruction on how to do overlapping pieces.

What type of leather did you use? Thickness? Looks beautiful.

I love the pull-up you're using, could I use a more playable, softer 2-3 Oz leather? I just happen to have a whole Hide of Leather.

I cannot for the life of me how to fold the pattern so I can sew it. Someone please help me. There are no notes on how to put it together and, given the complexity of the pattern, you need them!

agree. the pattern is not the easiest to visually decipher to figure out construction without notes. it would have been nice if a half page of written instructions were included with the buy rather than having to go online and play a video. i really like the bag and look forward to making it.
