Just had my consultation, waiting for the prescription. Thanks for the video G, made the whole process less scary! Another thing I'd like to mention to others who might be thinking about it, I guess depends on your Dr but be upfront about your prior black market use. I was and they had no beef wit it, in fact they seemed pleased that i already knew wag1 about Indica v Sativa etc, so I was able to be like "yeah id like X for Y effect etc" guess I'll see if that pays off when they send a prescription!

Hiya i just had a GP phone call today and i was real nervous of the whole situation about explaining i am going to approach a medical cannabis clinic and the GP was absolutely so understaning and is even going to actually refer me to my chosen clinic.. I did not expect this at all and i was expecting the GP to literally be against me even mentioning a private medical clinic ! I have complex PTSD and severe Anxiety at times! And i so hope i progress to not having to obtain treatment illegally of the streets which causes more anxiety to my alreasy existing condition. Seeing your video and recommendations from other videos on what clinics to choose i feel more at ease! Also im still worrying sick about the whole situation! MC has changed my life and I couldn’t be any happier. I’m able to play with my four year old, yesterday I sat at the table (before I did the video actually) and I helped him build his Minecraft Lego. I was sat at the table for one whole hour and managed it ok, the best bit was after all my hard work I couldn’t figure out the end of stage two in the instructions 🤔 I got my 18 year old son to come down (who used to play with my youngest) prior to me being able too, to ask what I’ve done wrong and why it’s not fitting together. After he inspected my awesome work that I was so happy about he said "dad you’ve built it back to front" I was like what 🤯😅 yep I did it the wrong way round and my son took over as I couldn’t sit for any longer. I am in SO much extra pain without Cannibis. I have Multiple sclerosis & have just had a connplaint from my neighbour via the council. An Antisocial behaviour letter. I've stopped using an till I can get a medical prescription. The pain & spacicity is awful. Xxx ❤️

We all sadly one way or another are on MC as a last resort due to the current legislation, hopefully in time that will change 🤞🏻 I hope my videos have helped in one way or another and some assurance’s that there is a wide range of medications available and your Doctor will know what’s best for the condition she/he is treating. I’ve been quite lucky to be able to speak with fellow patient’s whom suffer with pain and we’ve been able to share information and request different medications as they become available. In my opinion it’s incredibly important to work with your Doctor so they prescribe the best medication, so your feedback is very useful to them. I also think every patient is different and what works for some doesn’t always work for others. It’s awesome that you’ve been able to make your application and I wish you the very best in your journey #positivevibes 😀 ps stay patient as it can take a while before everything gets going but it will be worth the wait (hopefully) 😊🌱💚

I would however definitely recommend getting in touch with a clinic (I’m with TMCC) and set up an appointment with a doctor and go from there. I do know patients are treated for ADHD with medical cannabis however there are rules that would apply for example what you’ve tried already or not to then qualify for unlicensed medication for treatment. You can buy flowers from £5.50per gram with some clinics and up to £15+ per gram (yep that’s a lot) the best thing I’ve experienced is the consistency in medication when you find the right one to treat your condition. I really hope you give it a try if you think it will be beneficial for your health and become legally protected using medical cannabis under "Guidance in relation to Medical Cannabis Users as per the Equality Act 2010" best wishes and I hope it works out for you feel free to stay in touch 😊

appreciate you, i had my first consultation today and board meeting tomorrow the guy said hed recommend flower and oil which i agreed to but it was very fast paced i wanted high CBD lowish THC stuff but didnt get the chance to tell him, if i get a script will it be for specific strains and oils or is it general and i can pick what to use it on?

Please be assured it’s not a test or anything like that it’s just to go over your medical history (condition/s and previously medication) a bit, all being well you (if agreed) will be told what medication the doctor thinks will work best. After that it normally takes anything from a few days to a week or two depending on how busy they are to be approved by the board. Your be advised by email and the prescription you discuss tomorrow will be sent to the dispensary once all approved. Flavour is 💯 percent important I believe in my case it’s due to needing frequent changes because I’m my hdhd smoking the same bit over long periods is not a good idea for most I would imagine could anyone give me any advice I’m with sapphire now called curaleaf I need to change to Mamedica or another clinic that is flexible example I’m currently prescribed la Kush cake to chemically for me other one is some sherbert strain rubbish I asked to change to forbidden fruits that I know works and wanted to give moroccan peaches a go they responded pay for a consultation and you MAY be able to change it happy with my allowance of 60gs pm but where I don’t like what I’m prescribed I order like 1 10g pot pm and source my bud locally anyone no if it’s simple to change to another clinic and costs involved

Hi polaAR, thank you for leaving a comment and detailed question. I believe it would work in the very same way as a normal GP. You would need to request from your private GP a Summary Of Care record. This will show what your being treated for and what medication/s you have tried it on at the moment. I would advise giving them a call and start there. You can always reach out to a Cannabis clinic (I’m with Integro) and ask for their advice. I wish you all the best going forward 😊💚

Good question, some flowers have no smell whatsoever and some do and are quite bad. I’ve not had a bad experience with my neighbours nor my local area. I hope you don’t have any issues either. If you get it legally you can use it as described thus you’re not doing anything wrong 😊🌱💚
@@mcuk420 yeah we looking to get a medical card, my wife and I are from Jamaica but I moved my family to England 8 years ago, we just don't want to go to jail it's an important erb to us, we work hard and don't complain about the loud music consumption of alcohol falling over smashing into things all hours, they contribute nothing to this country and they were born here , it's to the point I will deal with them the only way I know how and I really don't want to but if it carries on I will do what I have to, thanks for the advice my brother.
Sorry for the late reply your doctor can send your prescription (as far as I know) to any dispensary. If not they can send it to their chosen one whom will get it from the main dispensary for that specific one. I hope that made sense 😅 🌱💚

Hey, thanks for reaching out 😊 To answer your question as best I can would be the following, There are different schemes through different clinics of which have external funding for your time (research) which lower the cost of the flower. It’s not just universal credit but some others. I would recommend speaking to any of the clinics to do some homework on what’s available right now. Ps sorry for the long delay in getting back to you. There is so much more available now though in terms of medications (well over 100 strains) some amazing quality flower and oils plus vapes and other new alternatives, new clinics opening too meaning more new Doctors on board with the idea of medical cannabis which overall seems just as stigmatised now as it did then. Not all offer a cheaper flower and your generally join the most popular out there Project Twenty21 which is run by Drug Science whim are developing real world evidence to put forth to the DHSC, NICE and NHS England to potentially one day get free on the NHS (Years Away, if Ever) Flowers ranger from £5.50 per gram upwards of £15+ per gram Oil (please check with clinics) £150+ per 30ml of oil I hope this all helps 😊

Hey bud sorry for the delay. It can cost as low as £75 a month on a cheaper flower (if that’s what you’d prefer to oil) for 15 grams of Tilray medicines. It can cost a lot more for example some flowers are £11+ per gram. Check out Medbud.wiki which has all the flowers and oils available with prices, I hope that helps 😊

I have Depression, Anxiety and Autism (all diagnosed) the only one of which I've been medicated for was my depression, but I heard you have to have multiple prescriptions but I never had multiple different prescriptions, just higher and higher does of the same one (fluoxetine) would that mean I couldn't get my licence? and if so, please give me any tips you can (thanks for sharing information like this it's much appriciated)

You do not get a card, you’re get a prescription with you name, details etc and what you’ve been subscribed. If the police do stop you don’t worry you can show them your medical prescription and that’s the end of that, it’s no different then having a prescription for naproxen and having naproxen tablets in the box and in your pocket. I have an assessment booked with TMCC can you advise on potential alternatives? I’m noticing medications issued range in review quite significantly? Like Noidex doesn’t receive great reviews, there are so many it’s confusing, I’m already told I qualify, also the board that makes the decision? Hi Mark, I would take some reviews with a pinch of salt and your doctor will issue you what he/she thinks is most appropriate for your qualifying condition/s I’ve never had bad flower just not as helpful in terms of reaction to how anyone treats you. It really strange as I really only found one flower to deal with all my health problems which was Pink Kush by Aurora however it’s incredibly expensive and for me not affordable. I’ve been quite unwell recently however I have three new flower reviews coming up all from GROW and the good news is they all helped immensely considered to some others at the price available. What may help me may not help you I guess is also important to mention. The flowers all do something it’s just finding the right ones. I hope you can build a really good working relationship with your Doctor, make notes on all things good and bad so that when you speak with your Doctor you can feedback. They too need to know if and what is helping, if your in a group of patients it’s worth speaking about your condition (if you don’t mind or more generically) and see what others are using for that condition etc. sorry for the long one I do hope some of this helps ✌🏻🌱💚

Hi, there’s no delivery fee to mainland U.K. I’m not sure about anywhere else. You just pay for the script and it’s sent out generally (if in stock) next working day, some pharmacies take a little longer if they are really busy 😊
Today my consultant (I’m in U.K.) has told me I will qualify as I have arthritis. A question. Let’s say I take some for pain, next day or day after I need to drive and I get stopped by police and drug tested. I’m screwed? What’s the point in me having this for pain if I can’t take it for that reason?
Great question I hope this helps and check them out 😊 Can I drive with a Cannabis prescription? In theory, yes. The only problem is that the legal limit for Cannabis is zero-tolerance. This means it's a trace-level limit. Even half a Cannabis joint the day before could put you over the legal limit. The CPS do not need to prove that you were impaired by the Cannabis or under the influence. If you are charged with drug driving but have a prescription, you may have a full defence to the allegation. Take a look at Section 5A of the Road Traffic Act 1988 below; (3)It is a defence for a person (“D”) charged with an offence under this section to show that- (a)the specified controlled drug had been prescribed or supplied to D for medical or dental purposes, (b)D took the drug in accordance with any directions given by the person by whom the drug was prescribed or supplied, and with any accompanying instructions (so far as consistent with any such directions) given by the manufacturer or distributor of the drug, and (c)D's possession of the drug immediately before taking it was not unlawful under section 5(1) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 (restriction of possession of controlled drugs) because of an exemption in regulations made under section 7 of that Act (authorisation of activities otherwise unlawful under foregoing provisions). Subsection 3 gives you a defence if you are prescribed the drug and taking it inline with medical guidance. Of course, this may not stop the police from arresting you and taking blood, but it would give you a defence in court. It is also advisable to carry around a copy of your Cannabis prescription in your vehicle. This can then be presented to any traffic officer asking questions about drug driving! Hi Marc, you don’t need your doctor to fill in any form you just need your GP reception to print off your Summary of Care records. If you have problems with your GP contact your chosen clinic and ask them to help you, they will guide you through the process to get what you need or act on your behalf with your consent. Your GP cannot withhold this information. Best of luck 👍🏻

Some clinics charge for a repeat prescription ie your next script is due you request it and they charge you £10 for doing so, some may be a lot more. As you’ve rightly said some are free. Why would someone pay £40 for an appointment when they could just spend that at their local dealer? From what I've been reading, the whole process seems WAY too expensive and most of these dispensaries seem like a scams with awful reviews
Why would you not to be Legal? If using Medical Cannabis legally so I continue to live without fear or worry. I don’t want to use nor would I use illegal cannabis as it scars me from the horror stories of what some patients have had in the illegal market, anything from robbery, sprayed weed, hemp and more reasons to stay away from it. The best thing about Medical Cannabis being prescribed legally not even the police can do anything about your legal right to use it as prescribed. You have protection from the change in Law in Nov 2018 to being covered by Guidance in Relation to Medical Cannabis Users as per the Equality Act 2010 I did a video all about it and your find a link in the description for you to have a read (highly recommend it dude) In relation to clinics there are good and bad as well as personal experiences also. I’ve had an amazing experience without issue and so have a lot of people I know in many groups. Your also never tied in if you want to change you can anytime. I would highly recommend Integro 👍🏻 With all the amazing flowers, oils, vapes and other alternatives is a million miles from three years ago when I started. There is so much choice available and it’s no longer £10+ per gram for the best cultivars. Some people are dead against it but I can’t speak about illegal weed on the streets and what’s available as I wasn’t using and haven’t used cannabis outside the medical industry in the past three years. I’ve also never had a problem in it dude so I’d always say give it a go and I would hope videos like mine would help pick from some videos and other RUclipsrs out there. It’s been received really well and if you read others comments a lot of patients also talk about their own experiences which might be worth while too. @@mcuk420 I think we could get a good dialogue going from this and hopefully we can all learn from something. Firstly, ignore the news articles that say buying it on the street is dangerous. It can be if you go to a sketchy neighbourhood in a major city and meet with someone you don't know. However out of the hundreds people I've dealt with over the last 25 years, I've had two that were actually dodgy, and that was just them trying to sell it wet off the plant, to which I turn it down. Would you be so kind as to let me know how much you order (grams), how much it costs (including consultations) per month and how long it takes to reach you? I'm not worried about police enforcement, they actually don't seem to care as long as you aren't smoking it in public or causing problems while using it.
Hi mate, I’m all good thanks had a rough couple of months so been spending all my time with them. Things have finally improved so I’d hope to get round to my Tilray video at some point. It’s a tuff one with quality as it seems quite varied. I’ve had some top brands that have been poor in some way so consistency does seem to be a problem currently.

Great question, the answer is yes. In short it’s exactly the same as any opioid medication for example. It’s all to do with being impaired and there are Laws to do with drink and drug driving however I’m not an expert by any means and I’d absolutely recommend you ask your doctor of the current rules and regs. Just had my consultation, waiting for the prescription. Thanks for the video G, made the whole process less scary! Another thing I'd like to mention to others who might be thinking about it, I guess depends on your Dr but be upfront about your prior black market use. I was and they had no beef wit it, in fact they seemed pleased that i already knew wag1 about Indica v Sativa etc, so I was able to be like "yeah id like X for Y effect etc" guess I'll see if that pays off when they send a prescription!

Hiya i just had a GP phone call today and i was real nervous of the whole situation about explaining i am going to approach a medical cannabis clinic and the GP was absolutely so understaning and is even going to actually refer me to my chosen clinic..
I did not expect this at all and i was expecting the GP to literally be against me even mentioning a private medical clinic !
I have complex PTSD and severe Anxiety at times!
And i so hope i progress to not having to obtain treatment illegally of the streets which causes more anxiety to my alreasy existing condition.

MC has changed my life and I couldn’t be any happier. I’m able to play with my four year old, yesterday I sat at the table (before I did the video actually) and I helped him build his Minecraft Lego. I was sat at the table for one whole hour and managed it ok, the best bit was after all my hard work I couldn’t figure out the end of stage two in the instructions 🤔 I got my 18 year old son to come down (who used to play with my youngest) prior to me being able too, to ask what I’ve done wrong and why it’s not fitting together. After he inspected my awesome work that I was so happy about he said "dad you’ve built it back to front" I was like what 🤯😅 yep I did it the wrong way round and my son took over as I couldn’t sit for any longer. I hope my videos have helped in one way or another and some assurance’s that there is a wide range of medications available and your Doctor will know what’s best for the condition she/he is treating. I’ve been quite lucky to be able to speak with fellow patient’s whom suffer with pain and we’ve been able to share information and request different medications as they become available. In my opinion it’s incredibly important to work with your Doctor so they prescribe the best medication, so your feedback is very useful to them. I also think every patient is different and what works for some doesn’t always work for others. It’s awesome that you’ve been able to make your application and I wish you the very best in your journey #positivevibes 😀 ps stay patient as it can take a while before everything gets going but it will be worth the wait (hopefully) 😊🌱💚

Unfortunately I’m not sure if you’d be accepted or not. I would however definitely recommend getting in touch with a clinic (I’m with TMCC) and set up an appointment with a doctor and go from there. I do know patients are treated for ADHD with medical cannabis however there are rules that would apply for example what you’ve tried already or not to then qualify for unlicensed medication for treatment. I really hope that helps 🙏🏻😊🌱💚

You can buy flowers from £5.50per gram with some clinics and up to £15+ per gram (yep that’s a lot) the best thing I’ve experienced is the consistency in medication when you find the right one to treat your condition. Please be assured it’s not a test or anything like that it’s just to go over your medical history (condition/s and previously medication) a bit, all being well you (if agreed) will be told what medication the doctor thinks will work best. After that it normally takes anything from a few days to a week or two depending on how busy they are to be approved by the board. Your be advised by email and the prescription you discuss tomorrow will be sent to the dispensary once all approved. This will show what your being treated for and what medication/s you have tried it on at the moment. I would advise giving them a call and start there. Good question, some flowers have no smell whatsoever and some do and are quite bad. I’ve not had a bad experience with my neighbours nor my local area. I hope you don’t have any issues either. If you get it legally you can use it as described thus you’re not doing anything wrong 😊🌱💚

Sorry for the late reply your doctor can send your prescription (as far as I know) to any dispensary. If not they can send it to their chosen one whom will get it from the main dispensary for that specific one. I hope that made sense 😅 🌱💚

There are different schemes through different clinics of which have external funding for your time (research) which lower the cost of the flower. It’s not just universal credit but some others. Not all offer a cheaper flower and your generally join the most popular out there Project Twenty21 which is run by Drug Science whim are developing real world evidence to put forth to the DHSC, NICE and NHS England to potentially one day get free on the NHS (Years Away, if Ever)
Flowers ranger from £5.50 per gram upwards of £15+ per gram

Hey bud sorry for the delay. It can cost as low as £75 a month on a cheaper flower (if that’s what you’d prefer to oil) for 15 grams of Tilray medicines. It can cost a lot more for example some flowers are £11+ per gram.

Im just about to get my prescription but I do worry about how do Royal Mail know that it’s legitimate and that the medication is not seized or the police end up delivering it ? Nobody seems to do much on this part ? I thought it might have some documentation on the front of the parcel to say it’s medication and have a license number or something?
It’s packaged in a plain box with a normal delivery label on it addressed to the patient, they would have no idea what is in the box 😊🌱💚

I have Depression, Anxiety and Autism (all diagnosed) the only one of which I've been medicated for was my depression, but I heard you have to have multiple prescriptions but I never had multiple different prescriptions, just higher and higher does of the same one (fluoxetine) would that mean I couldn't get my licence? and if so, please give me any tips you can (thanks for sharing information like this it's much appriciated)

You do not get a card, you’re get a prescription with you name, details etc and what you’ve been subscribed. If the police do stop you don’t worry you can show them your medical prescription and that’s the end of that, it’s no different then having a prescription for naproxen and having naproxen tablets in the box and in your pocket. Hi Mark, I would take some reviews with a pinch of salt and your doctor will issue you what he/she thinks is most appropriate for your qualifying condition/s I’ve never had bad flower just not as helpful in terms of reaction to how anyone treats you. It really strange as I really only found one flower to deal with all my health problems which was Pink Kush by Aurora however it’s incredibly expensive and for me not affordable.
I’ve been quite unwell recently however I have three new flower reviews coming up all from GROW and the good news is they all helped immensely considered to some others at the price available. What may help me may not help you I guess is also important to mention. The flowers all do something it’s just finding the right ones. I hope you can build a really good working relationship with your Doctor, make notes on all things good and bad so that when you speak with your Doctor you can feedback. They too need to know if and what is helping, if your in a group of patients it’s worth speaking about your condition (if you don’t mind or more generically) and see what others are using for that condition etc. sorry for the long one I do hope some of this helps ✌🏻🌱💚

Hi, there’s no delivery fee to mainland U.K. I’m not sure about anywhere else. You just pay for the script and it’s sent out generally (if in stock) next working day, some pharmacies take a little longer if they are really busy 😊
Today my consultant (I’m in U.K.) has told me I will qualify as I have arthritis. A question. Let’s say I take some for pain, next day or day after I need to drive and I get stopped by police and drug tested. I’m screwed? What’s the point in me having this for pain if I can’t take it for that reason?

Can I drive with a Cannabis prescription?
In theory, yes. The only problem is that the legal limit for Cannabis is zero-tolerance. This means it's a trace-level limit. Even half a Cannabis joint the day before could put you over the legal limit. The CPS do not need to prove that you were impaired by the Cannabis or under the influence.
If you are charged with drug driving but have a prescription, you may have a full defence to the allegation. Take a look at Section 5A of the Road Traffic Act 1988 below;
(3)It is a defence for a person (“D”) charged with an offence under this section to show that-
(a)the specified controlled drug had been prescribed or supplied to D for medical or dental purposes,
(b)D took the drug in accordance with any directions given by the person by whom the drug was prescribed or supplied, and with any accompanying instructions (so far as consistent with any such directions) given by the manufacturer or distributor of the drug, and
(c)D's possession of the drug immediately before taking it was not unlawful under section 5(1) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 (restriction of possession of controlled drugs) because of an exemption in regulations made under section 7 of that Act (authorisation of activities otherwise unlawful under foregoing provisions).
Subsection 3 gives you a defence if you are prescribed the drug and taking it inline with medical guidance. Of course, this may not stop the police from arresting you and taking blood, but it would give you a defence in court. It is also advisable to carry around a copy of your Cannabis prescription in your vehicle. This can then be presented to any traffic officer asking questions about drug driving!

Hi Marc, you don’t need your doctor to fill in any form you just need your GP reception to print off your Summary of Care records. If you have problems with your GP contact your chosen clinic and ask them to help you, they will guide you through the process to get what you need or act on your behalf with your consent. Why would someone pay £40 for an appointment when they could just spend that at their local dealer? From what I've been reading, the whole process seems WAY too expensive and most of these dispensaries seem like a scams with awful reviews
Why would you not to be Legal?
If using Medical Cannabis legally so I continue to live without fear or worry. I don’t want to use nor would I use illegal cannabis as it scars me from the horror stories of what some patients have had in the illegal market, anything from robbery, sprayed weed, hemp and more reasons to stay away from it.
The best thing about Medical Cannabis being prescribed legally not even the police can do anything about your legal right to use it as prescribed. You have protection from the change in Law in Nov 2018 to being covered by Guidance in Relation to Medical Cannabis Users as per the Equality Act 2010 I did a video all about it and your find a link in the description for you to have a read (highly recommend it dude)
In relation to clinics there are good and bad as well as personal experiences also. I’ve had an amazing experience without issue and so have a lot of people I know in many groups. Your also never tied in if you want to change you can anytime. I would highly recommend Integro 👍🏻
With all the amazing flowers, oils, vapes and other alternatives is a million miles from three years ago when I started. There is so much choice available and it’s no longer £10+ per gram for the best cultivars.
Some people are dead against it but I can’t speak about illegal weed on the streets and what’s available as I wasn’t using and haven’t used cannabis outside the medical industry in the past three years. I’ve also never had a problem in it dude so I’d always say give it a go and I would hope videos like mine would help pick from some videos and other RUclipsrs out there. It’s been received really well and if you read others comments a lot of patients also talk about their own experiences which might be worth while too.

@@mcuk420 I think we could get a good dialogue going from this and hopefully we can all learn from something. Firstly, ignore the news articles that say buying it on the street is dangerous. It can be if you go to a sketchy neighbourhood in a major city and meet with someone you don't know. However out of the hundreds people I've dealt with over the last 25 years, I've had two that were actually dodgy, and that was just them trying to sell it wet off the plant, to which I turn it down.

Hi mate, I’m all good thanks had a rough couple of months so been spending all my time with them. Things have finally improved so I’d hope to get round to my Tilray video at some point. It’s a tuff one with quality as it seems quite varied. I’ve had some top brands that have been poor in some way so consistency does seem to be a problem currently.

Great question, the answer is yes. In short it’s exactly the same as any opioid medication for example. It’s all to do with being impaired and there are Laws to do with drink and drug driving however I’m not an expert by any means and I’d absolutely recommend you ask your doctor of the current rules and regs. Hey, it doesn’t take long whatsoever as long as it’s in stock. Once you’ve paid it’s pretty much next day to mainland U.K. I think it’s a lot longer for other places. Always worth checking with the doctor just to give her/him a gentle poke of a reminder to check prior to issue 😊
