    Thanks, Bjørn, that's fantastic. I have seen many reviews on this car already. And there are many more interesting features this car has: passanger seat can become a chear of the gynecologist :), the side pocket can become a fridge or heater, back sits go up go pets and many more. I know you did not have much time. But, if you have an opportunity to have a 4 seater with max specs, you'll like it!

    These door handles will get quite some paint scratches with rings.
    When exiting using the passenger side, you could have lifted the center armrest :)

    • @tren133
      @tren133 Год назад

      And also slide the center console rearwards to get even more space, although maybe it isn't movable on this Euro spec model? The Euro spec Zeekr X seems to be missing multiple features compared to the Chinese version.

      The 4 seat version of the Zeekr X has a 40:20:40 folding rear seat, plus you the seat bottoms fold upwards for pets or to make more cargo room in front of the rear seats. I would definitely get the 4 seat version over this lower trim 5 seat version.

    Hello Bjørn I think you forgot about sliding screen and moving center console or in Norway version they didn't include it? And its strange that they showed a base spec car. Top spec have zero gravity seats, self opening doors and back seats can lift for more space. oh and also fridge.

    • @seb.

      Sliding screen will not available in Europe from what I read in other reviews.

    • @idomaghic
      @idomaghic Год назад

      Yeah, no moving screen in europe due to regulations according to other videos, also I suspect the self opening doors might also not be coming to europe (I really hope not; it'd be a disaster in most parking lots), zero gravity might only be in 4 seated version as it seemed to require the rear seats to fold up, which I've got no clue if it's coming to europe.

    Many thanks Bjørn, a good review. I find the Volvo EX30 much more beautiful. But then... the inside of the Zeekr is much nicer. Not only from quality and looks, but also functional with buttons, with a screen attached to the steering wheel and even a head up display. Al this is missing with the EX30. And then also much more luggage room. Its a difficult choice. How is it with the service organization around this new brand ? I understood from another reviewer that they will not use the Volvo network but build their own infrastructure. Greetings from Switzerland.

    The logic of the 'door opening button' being in this odd position is probably due to the fact that the car manufacturer encourages you to press the button with your right hand, forcing you to turn your torso and check the left rear dead angle. Some kind of biker protection.

    • @tren133
      @tren133 Год назад +1

      Probably a pre-prod model still needing to get it fully ironed out for foreign language markets. The Chinese infotainment system Zeekr has in its home market is quite good. In fact most modern Chinese infotainment systems are very solid because that aspect of the car is very important to Chinese consumers. Especially voice commands, where Chinese cars are bar none the best in the world. It is one of the reasons VW is getting its ass handed to it in the Chinese market since VW in particular have very poor infotainment software.

    It looks nice, but no glovebox, even just a small one for registration papers, is silly. Also those leather grab handles in the front look super flimsy. None in the rear is kinda stupid and barely saves costs, granny needs them.
    Starting at €45k for 440km WLTP in the Netherlands means it's eligible for a €2950 tax credit here because the base model is under €45K which makes it €42K effectively. That makes the base model kinda attractive. It lacks massage seats but it still has a lot of other features like driver ventilated seat, HUD with AR, Android auto/carplay and a good suite of assistance systems that you don't have to pay extra for like with a Tesla (model Y base model is €47K in the Netherlands, not eligible for tax credit).
    22 kW AC charging is standard, that's nice, beats the model Y and many fancier cars. 400v system with 150 kW max fast charging speed is average to good, beaten by base model Y which has 170 kW max speed. But we still have to see the charging curve.
    All in all I think it's a pretty decent deal for the segment. Worth considering over a model Y, at least in the Netherlands with the tax credit.

      Would be the correct segment comparison.

      They both have a towing capacity of 1600kg AFAIK. The 7-seater model Y is nice for kids but unusable for adults.
      The model Y is bigger, yep. Also has a bigger battery. But less luxury features and it's €5000 more expensive. With the tax rebate I think the Zeekr X is competition, but not a no-brainer at all.
      Zeekr is a brand from Geely, which also does Polestar and service seems to have been fine for that. So I think it will be okay for Zeekr too, but who knows.

    I wouldn't buy that car simply because it doesn't have a glove box. What a big design mistake that was.

    Those inside door openers in their weird annoying positions will be a deal breaker for many. What a stupid design decision. 😂

    junk. All chinese cars look good at first but they have no staying power and over time just a few years they are left by the side of the road as junk. Dont waste your time with any of these. Contrary to popular belief these are not great cars.
