I've never had DIRECTV, but from what I've heard, they sound like a real pain in the business end of a donkey. Or maybe I just say that 'cause I'm more of a *cable fan, myself. *From early-/mid-2007 to 2014, back when there were programmes worth watching on pay-only channels. I don't have any satellite or cable provider now, and I don't plan on getting one anytime soon since there's zero shows to watch that I don't already own on DVD or can access on a streaming service, and because all their pricing is beyond ridiculous. $250+ a month for networks that broadcast content as entertaining, mentally-stimulating, or hilarious as watching dust gather on my Wii U? No, thanks!

She stuck with optimum for a couple more months and then switched to DirecTV+frontier, then she went all frontier, then she went frontier+att tv, then optimum again, then optimum and att tv because the optimum boxes kept breaking, then to TMobile tvision, then YT TV, then to frontier and dish
