Hey! This video helped me out SO MUCH man! I recently purchased a 2019 BMW 330i XDrive and it didnt have AA, only ACP. So myBMW app stopped working. Had the car serviced and updated and still nothing. I went to the car at lunch today and watched this viideo and did the reset and BAM! AA showed up, myBMW app updated, texts stared coming through. Audible warning in the car when I crossed the lines...kinda like the car awoke lol! THANK YOU so MUCH for this video!!!!! Carlos
Thanks for the instructions, my car 's been updated, the issue is tjat now the app does not sync at all with the car (last status is from the date I made the update) is there any tips on how to force sync on the app?
Hi, mybmw started not working since two weeks ago. My vehicle still connected to the app but doesnt allow me to use the general digital service. It said on the app ‘no active subscription’. Also the app is not in the ‘installed apps’ list in my vechile. Do you have any solution of this issue? thank you
I found it, the subscription is from the previous owner, but if you did make new Subscriptions or have a new car then you should let bmw know and give them a call, its just that your subscriptions are over and without them you cant do nothing with your car just basic things, when you have all the options its way better, but that personal choice.
Excellent instructions! Used this on my 2022 330e , in Canada, but it failed on the "transferring data." Obviously, there is another impediment which I have yet to discover.
@@l.2ba614 It figured it’s self out. I emailed BMW customer service from the app, they gave me another address to email. However before I could email the new address there was a prompt when I opened the MYBMW app which allowed me to update the app. When I got to my car I was able “Update Apps and Services” The only other thing I did was rate the app 1 star (twice). I recommend sending BMW an email (see the app) and tell them you’re having issues.
@BMW Fanatic I have a 2016 740i M Sport. I bought I 3 weeks ago. It's a beautiful car. I love it. I downloaded MyBMW app and went through that whole process after watching your video. After I was notified that I was all set up I wanted to start using it but across my app is a message telling me my subscription isn't active and if I want to use the services I need to activate my subscription. I'm imagining that is from the previous owner. But I wasn't aware there was a subscription. The only thing I can do is send addresses to my navigation. That's it. I can't see anything vehicle status, or do anything without the subscription. Very disappointing.

Is there a method like this for the F30's or do you have to save the update file to a usb and then plug that into the USB port in your car?

I did not have an update apps and service menu 🤨 on my 2022 M440i

Thanks man. My auto start wasn’t working. But after I did this it starts now.
Instead of holding the controller button, on that same app screen, you can also click the ‘options’ button near the controller button too!

It’s ridiculous that BMW doesnt do this on its own. And why does it take up to a minute to send a command to the car?
