Video Description :
In this video we asked the facts crew to try some American cereals and they were everything we expected them to be. They were full of sugar and left one or two of the contributors quite giggly afterwards. Check this one out for a laugh!

Facts. is an online brand that creates short and relate-able videos including taste tests, watching TV/ RUclipsrs, gender taboos & more.
Similar to channels such as BuzzFeed, WatchCut, TheFineBros & GMM we focus on creating content that depicts people (usually Irish people) experiencing new things for the first time, whether that be food, drink or maybe a TV show! - Развлечения
"It's aimed at young boys and older women who like men in uniform" - lmao, Elga knocked it outta the park in this one.
J-Me , there should be a cereal aimed at older men for younger women in uniform, call it Catholic Crunch
Oh shit, lol!
Catholic Crunch would actually be aimed at older men for little boys.
+KingMeeqs I feel terrible for laughing, yet I did anyway. Well played, sir.
+Stephen White I'M IN STITCHES
The Irish eating lucky charms 😂 I've seen everything.
Seen everything? Have you ever seen a hot dog eat itself?
I've seen pigs fed hotdogs, so yeah, that counts.
"They look like little pillows" he said just before the cereal flayed the skin from the roof of his mouth.
Megan Summers that doesn't happen if you let it get just the tiny bit soggy in the milk.
They're not pillows! Cap'n Crunch's yellow cereal pieces are supposed to be shaped like barrels! XD
No Apple Jacks? No Golden Grahams? NO CINNAMON TOAST CRUNCH!?
SMATF5 they did apple jacks on another video and we have the other one here already. Except the cinnamon one, we have there cinnamon flavoured cereals.
ELGA AND GEORGE'S BELFAST ACCENTS AT THE END OH MY GOD WHY AM I NOT SEEING MORE PEOPLE APPRECIATING THAT
And them turning the Froot Loops into a version of the Troubles. Amazing scenes.
Ah, I was wondering what kind of accent it was, lol.
I know people who sound worse than that and I'm from Belfast
I know a few smicky Belfast ones myself hahaha I live just outside Belfast!
lol cheeky fuckers! Sound more Derry than Belfast.
That ending had me in stitches
"it seems like these are all made in the same factory" pretty much! they were mostly all general mills!
Tai Sommers or kellogs
Feeding Lucky Charms to Irish people just feels like a hate crime.
LMAO!
cabrat u sir or ma'am just made my day much better..
They seemed to be real sports about it though 🤣
😂😂😂😂😂
LOL
No Apple Jacks or Cinnamon Toast Crunch? Redo!
I think they did Apple Jacks in another video.
cinnabon cereal?? not cinnamon toast crunch??? this is an atrocity.
AdieMs We already have Cinammon Toast Crunch in Ireland, except here it's called Curiously Cinnamon (formerly Cinnamon Grahams)
Nah..French Toast Crunch
AdieMs i miss french vanilla mini wheats.. maple brown sugar are great, but french vanilla, ohhhh, yes!!!
Frosted flakes, or Count chocula
AdieMs they didn't even have coco puffs.
How can you try American breakfast cereal and not have Cinnamon Toast Crunch?!?!
They would’ve complained about the sugar
or what about Honeycomb?
They aight I prefer Frosted Flakes.
Honey Smacks? Dig Em’
Cap'n Crunch is delicious. The downside is it's like eating fiberglass
The secret is to dunk it under the milk for a few seconds before you dig in. Safe but not mushy.
I let mine soak in the milk for about 10 minutes. Otherwise it's just too loud too chew. They advertise that it stays crunchy in milk. It's too damn crunchy damn it. I'm not trying to make my mouth bleed.
i'd crush it all up first so it was all like the dust at the bottom of the bag.
I never had that experience re: Cap'n Crunch, but I don't eat it that much anymore, the Christmas crunch is hard to find..
*I repaired my '82 Corvette Stingray fender with these.*
How did you not get to taste the OG Cinnamon Toast Crunch?
Diabeetus.
Keanu Scott it is good
we have cinnamon toast crunch in Ireland
Do you have french toast crunch?
Laughing hard at the norn iron accent at the end
Okay, but during Halloween you guys need to taste test Count Chocula, Frankenberry, and Boo Berry! 👻
It's time
Where tf do you find Boo Berry anymore??
Ilznidiotic You can still find them around Halloween at Wal-Mart's grocery department
Does Quisp still exist? I loved that one.
Colleen Forrest crisp? Idk I haven't seen any around me.
Yeah Cap'n Crunch is that flame, no matter where you live.
@@wf6951 never happened to me
Me neither.
@@wf6951 that's if you eat them dry. Which I've done. No regrets.
Unfitproduct Airborne
Anyone with any refinement knows you need to add milk, stir the milk in, then let it sit for 3-4 minutes before eating.
Peanut butter.............
I'm American and I had no clue that we had Cinnabon cereal 😧 where tf have I been?!
LOL, , me too. But my parents didn’t let me have sweet cereal except for Kix, so I guess I’m no expert.
Yeah, as a kid I wasn't allowed to have these cereals either. I think the only time I did was when we went camping and we had those single-serving boxes that come bundled in a variety pack.
Ya, we didnt have cereal often either. On top of being terrible for you, theyre not exactly cheap.
sergeantbigmac Yep.. We're so poor, that in my house, if you wanted a sweet cereal, you had to dump sugar in you bowl of your bland brand cereal, like Corn Flakes, Rice Crispy, or the plain Cheerios without the honey coating.. That is if you have sugar to begin with. Sometimes only having 1% milk that taste like some kind of nasty powder formula.
Ikr
Am I the only American watching and was completely unaware that Cinnabon made a cereal?
Nope
they needed to do coco puffs or coco pebbles. Not that cinnabon which i rarely see in stores
Nope. I've never seen it or heard of it. Sounds good though.
Random And Awkward , seen it...haven't tried it
I just saw it for the first time a few months ago
silly Irish trix are for kids
Has anyone told them that not all American breakfast cereals are pre-sweetened? The real classics -- Corn Flakes, Kix, Rice Krispies, Special K, and the Chex series -- make you add your own sugar, if you want it.
Eric Ebel they're generally clueless and don't understand what they're eating/doing. I bet no one told them that these are all children's cereal. At least they served it correctly, they often mess up these tastings in multiple ways.
You know that bland breakfast cereals were introduced to make people less horny? There was an odd belief that spicy foods increased your sex drive and so introducing bland foods into your diet would supposedly calm it. So mothers would feed their kids bland cereal so they wouldn't go getting pregnant or getting people pregnant. An odd concept that lost its meaning over the years.
Those cereals are all widely available and popular in the UK and Southern ireland - they are just trying the 'American' cereals that aren't normally available here at all
Oh for God's sake of course we have Cornflakes, Rice Crispies, Special K, Weetabix over here. They're just trying the controversial ones! We do live in the 21st century you know and guess what we travel!
Ah, I remember the days of having to add my own sugar to cereal. Not any more!
Irish people try Americans
I volunteer as tribute
Second.
yummy
I'd definitely volunteer for all of the redheads on the show as a sample.
Now THAT'S an idea. :D
"They look like little pillows!"
*proceeds to leave the roof of your mouth completely raw and shredded*
lol. Too true!
Pro tip life hack:
Add milk
Stir cereal (with spoon, not fork or knife or spork)
Wait 1-2 minutes
Outside gets soft but inside still crunchy.
WHERE ARE THE RECEESE PUFFS??!!!!!!!!!!!!!
seriously tho
What about Coco Pebbles, Coco Puffs, or Cookie Crisp?
I want to say they did...but idk :/ ..... they did in a reces based episode
In the trash where they belong.
If you guys love Reese's so much, then why can't you spell it properly?
how the shit did you not get a single one of them to say "They're always after me Lucky Charms!"
Well, Elga did say "those Fenian green bastards" so there's that.
Matty Mo HAHAHAHAHAAHA man im rollin
Because that bowl of crap has never been advertised or widely sold here so we wouldn't know and even if we did that would be so cringe!
I'm Irish you dope!
Zzzzz!!! Get a life! I'm too busy for this boring shit!
LOVE when Elga and the guy does Irish accents, they should have their own segment just doing that😃👏😃👏😃👏
I'm addicted to Irish people
Brad feel free to visit, we love new people!
Brad same especially the ladies
we're going to visit ireland in a few months. i might try and find someone to take us in and stay lol
Cap'n Crunch is definitely my favorite cereal, it's so simple and tasty
"They're like little pillows...."
Sure, until you catch a jagged corner in the roof of your mouth.
Cap'n Crunch and no Crunchberries...WTF???
not even peanut butter crunch... its a shame
but Irish people seem to not have the obsession we do, with peanut butter, we put Peanut butter in so much stuff.
This is honestly one of my favourite Channels
As someone that grew up loving Captn Crunch I have to say I absolutely love it when foreigners have that same sort of delight when they try it! :D
Irish People watch The Rocky Horror Picture Show for the first time
yes!
Muahahahah Aaahahahaha. I agree.
OK whose roof of the mouth did the Capn crunch tear up guys?
ah a fellow capn cruncher
SO worth it though!
Michael Ross it may make the roof of your mouth bleed, but it's so damn good!!
Only the Peanut Butter Capt'm Crunch does that. But yeah...
When you cram too many in at once. You bite down on the delicious depth charges and they poke the top of your mouf...only when their still crunchy.
hes not even a real captain hes an admiral
Thank you so much for editing out a lot of the crunching/chewing! Misophonia sufferers love you for that.
Abstract people critique Irish art.
Mr. Hand keep this up and they'll eventually do it! 👍
Art people critique abstract Irish.
Art abstracts irish people.
Push some irish people off a cliff and have Arther O'Malley repel down and rescue them.
Everyone knows you eat the Lucky charms for the marshmallows only. And Kix for me was where it was at. Yes, I maybe a fat American adult but once upon a time, I was a chunky American child who loved Kix with skim milk.
Ok, I'll give them props this time. Most of the other shows they do "American" food, are usually the most obscure things that Americans NEVER eat.
This time, they did it right. These are all ICONIC American cereals. I grew up on all of these. Capt Crunch is still my fav. All they need to round out the menu is Frosted Flakes.
I am so glad that y'all liked Capt'n Crunch the best. That was my all time favorite Saturday morning while watching Bugs Bunny cereal!
After the Belfast accents at the end, my only regret is that I can like this video but once.
Wow, they managed to eat the Cap'n Crunch without ripping the top of their mouths into bloody strips. That's skill right there.
NO FRUITY PEBBLES?! Lol do a Part2 and get Fruity Pebbles. The texture is different
George and Elga are the best! Making the Trix rabbit Irish and that Northern Ireland bit at the end were a pot of pure comedy gold. lol
My mom dated a guy from Ireland who actually got offended if you mentioned lucky charms 😂
Kaelyn Armstrong Was he after your lucky charms though? :-P
Capt Crunch will cut thru your palate like no other
Peanut butter captain crunch is possibly the greatest cereal in existence
Drew Peterson agreed
How could they not like Trix?
cjordan naww they iight
Drew Peterson honey bunches and oats are king
Drew Peterson Fact.
Honey Combs was my favorite. I tried eating cereal for lunch a couple years ago and just tore up my mouth no matter how long it soaked in the milk.
Just the plain old roof-of-the-mouth-cutting Cap'n Crunch? No Crunch Berries?
CINNAMON TOAST CRUNCH AND COOKIE CRISP....
Speaking as an American, I fell out of love with commercial cereal when I was still a pre-teen. I began eating oatmeal or natural grain toast. Fortunately, I grew up in an area that had a lot of local agriculture, so both the oatmeal and whole grain bread were locally made. Oh, and the butter for the toast was hand cranked by a farm family a couple miles up the road. Yeah, "those were the days my friend … ."
The best thing I think I've ever seen on RUclips is George imitating the Lucky Charms mascot & doing a really bad Irish accent.
Apparently, Irish people adamantian upper roofs of their mouths.
Right?!? There was no screaming at all. Maybe the screaming comes when they try to eat toast the next day.
Dineen Serpa , for me it generally started when went for the second bowl, like C.C. before that happens
what are you guys talking about?
Im amazed at how much coloring created a negative response here. I wonder how a blindfolded taste test would have differed . . . .
Chuck Child Because American food is way too bright it's so unnatural lmao. Way too many additives.
These guys are my favorite reviewers EVER!
the end bit was the best 😂😂😂
I was ok during the whole video, yet when I heard 'segregate them' I was on the floor.
Why not peanut butter Cap'n Crunch? That one is better than the original!
I agree with them for the most part -- except that I love Lucky Charms. :)
When I was a kid, we had limited choices in our house: Cheerios, Corn Flakes, Wheaties, shredded wheat (blech), or -- as a special treat -- Raisin Bran.
I *LOVED* Elga & George at the end with the Froot Loops.
I love to listen to them talk
love crunch berries Capt. crunch
no cinnamon toast crunch?! this doesn't count!
Actually Trix are sweetened with natural fruit juice and they used natural food coloring. I had a friend who worked in a factory for about 10 years. They didn't used to do that, but they started decades ago
Captain crunch was and is still my favorite cold breakfast cereal!
george+elga=lols
When is Captain crunch gonna update the back of their box shit been the same since nam.
Captain Crunch was my FAVORITE as a kid!!! OMG lol Im going to the store after work to get some LOLOLOL
Watching this while I’m eating captain crunch and nodding my head agreeing that it’s the best one.
Irish people taste test each other.
we do that all the time
No Honey Bunches of Oats?!
This is my favorite adult cereal.
Girl at 2:14 they are... Factory is called General Mills
Sounds like we need to have them try all the Cap'n Crunch types since they liked it so much XD
I actually only eat cereal as a dessert and not a breakfast food.
Like something right from the eighties?, He says... Son, back in the eighties we only have two types of cereals. The ones with waaaaay too much sugar and the ones with way too many chemicals. We had to make the cereals ourselves. Yeah,,, grow them from the ground up and then pick them from the cereal tree. Not that buy them in the market thing that you younglings have, no sir. We had to milk the cow too. And you had to be sure you were wide awake when you milked that cow! I had a couple of friends who tried to milk the bull by mistake. It wasnt pretty, Son. Although the bull seemed to like it...
"cereal tree". Something tells me you didn't farm
ZenzeroCAM Of course I did! You never seen the Cocoa Pebbles trees of the Uncaunca Mountains?
+Tony Rosales If you have some of those cereal seeds left from the 80's so I can grow one myself, send some my way Tony, cheers.
I believe he meant the design on how it's just plain unlike the others.
+GenericWeeb
I am so confused, what?
Those different types of Irish accents definitely go great with the cereals!
Does anyone else like the old cartoon characters on the lucky charms and trix better than the new ones?
Silver Paddy...😁
Wheaties, with a dash of maple syrup, is what's up.
i do remember you guys did taste test "apple jacks" which i like also but i would be delighted to see what you guys think of "Post Grape Nuts cereal" no telling what you would think of that--hard and simple but i love it
Davey got it right in the first cereal video they did, these are for "Saturday 'morning' when you wake up at 3pm," especially if you're a university student. Also for 3am during finals.
Anyone else crying because nobody will remember that Trix weren't always puffs?
5000btu They used to be shaped like their different respective fruits once upon a time.
I'm 41 - Don't remember them ever being anything but multicolored orbs of sugar. Weird - thought my hearing would be first to go, but I guess it's the memory.
I heard that Trix never changed their shape at all, we just can't see them anymore because Trix are for kids.
NickBLeaveIt They were balls then shapes then balls again.
I remember them being fruit shaped in Elementary, back in the late 90's or early 2000's.. It also seems like a lot of the cereals I used to love have gotten more bland since I was little.
Omfg...lucky charms FACTS has a sense of hummor. & how can paddy be hear & in NYC at the same time he must be magical or he's a leprechaun🙈
cap n crunch will legit cut the fuck out you're mouth 😵
Yeah, when you eat enough of them, your mouth gets sore. Same with cocoa puffs, but their cocoa goodness and the leftover chocolatey milk are worth the pain.
J-Me ohhh the pain not worth the taste for cap n crunch... cocoa puffs yes but not cap..lol
You know, when things get a little raw, but it's so good you just have to have more....like cocoa puffs, lol
J-Me
Cocoa Puffs or Peanut Butter Crunch are worth it, for me anyway.
Cap'n Crunch was the best cereal out of all of them. When my sister and I were kids, her favorite was Lucky Charms and my favorite was Cap'n Crunch.
I like how they say something is "nice".
cinnabon cereal?? not cinnamon toast crunch?!!!!!!!! WHAT!!!!!!
cheerios,,, something not made from 99.9% sugar??
Cap'n Crunch rocks. I've been hooked on it since I was about five years old. Even now a couple times a year I'll buy a box... but not for breakfast. I'll eat it for a snack in the evening. I know they went for the most day-glo colored kiddie cereals for this, but my breakfast cereals are Life cereal and Raisin Bran. Neither needs sugar, but aren't sickeningly sweet.
I've loved Cap'n Crunch since I was a little girl (we won't talk about how long ago that was). It's so good, I don't mind it scraping up the roof of my mouth.
Irish people go to Tommorrowland
but HOW can they SHARE a bowl of cereal??? that grosses me out so hard, like the milk and the milky cereal and then sharing it like...ahhhhh
Right? I don't get why they can't always let each person have their own bowl. It's not that expensive!
Lol get over yourself
It’s not a big deal, like wtf.
Yeah, there's something about sharing milk products that makes me cringe.
You'll find that a lot in certain countries, it's kind of like personal space being defined differently between cultures.
Removing preconceptions and emotions, if everyone is healthy and has good dental hygiene there's nothing _actually_ wrong with it.
as much as cap'n crunch is popular here in the states, I've never had it... I grew up with Corn Flakes, Honey Nut Cheerios and Raisin Bran, I guess my mom knew and now my favorite is Raisin Bran
In the days when I still ate cereal Captain Crunch was the bomb, especially when you let it sit and get a little soft before you eat it.
Irish People try American Burbon
They did this, but it was Scottish vs. American whiskey (most of the American ones were bourbon, aside from JD)
frosted flakes > everything
Mr Not That Famous YEASSSS
Top 3 list, but not number one. There is Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
We have frosted flakes in Ireland and the UK though :-) The ones they tasted we don't (or only recently - I think we might have froot loops in the UK now).
Ew, no.
Mr Not That Famous Oh hell no, Frosted Flakes is godawful.
I had tons of cereal as a kid, but oddly, we never had REGULAR Cap'n Crunch. The house stayed stocked with Peanut Butter Cap'n Crunch. My family, particularly my mother and I, LOVED Peanut Butter Cap'n Crunch.
On an unrelated note, Elga was actually being funny in this one. This is the first vid where I have seen her animated and being jokey. Usually, she just sits there looking like she's just tolerating the other person's attempts at humor while sitting there looking beautiful, and occasionally making sexual innuendoes. It was great seeing her in a playful mood making jokes.
Elga & George need their own playlist on the channel!!!
Cocoa pebbles/puffs
Pago Eagle pick one. Those are very different in taste, texture, brand. Personally, I'm a pebbles girl.
keriezy haha 😂 i didn't expect anyone to actually comment.😂
Pago Eagle what can I say.... I was so disappointed in pebbles as a kid. 😁
THAT is IT!! OMG OMG Cocoa Pebbles! YES!!
Those are awful. We love life cereal, Chex, Cocoa Puffs and rice krispies at our house.
My favorite American cereal is Frosted Shredded Wheat. It tastes like straw with sugar on top. Shredded Wheat without sugar tastes like straw .... and more straw. It's still better than anything else I've found in the cereal aisle.
Y'all need to try Frosted Mini-Wheats, Honey Nut Cheerios, Frosted Flakes and Honey Bunches w/Oats!
Also please critique abstract art for Sean M. as I'm slightly worried as I haven't seen him in the comments for a bit.
Irish People Taste American Cereal
"First cereal is lucky charms"
Good o'l fashioned racism.
Irish isn't a race. It's a nationality.
At the same time, I cringed as soon as they showed the first box.
