Those jokers acted up in DC on my 49th birthday. I was chilling in Upper Marlboro Maryland and couldn’t believe what I was witnessing. At the same time saying to myself “I can’t wait to hear what Dr. Carr has to say about this!” 😂😂😂 Not CNN, FOX or MSNBC! But my Professors Hunter and Carr! Thanks 😊 for pure knowledge!

I am 61 years around the 🌞 as a child I vividly remember seeing all of the unsung heros and sheros marching through my segregated neighborhood one Sunday afternoon. My playmates and I heard them singing in the distance we then ran into our front yards and over a hill they came this mass of moving black people marching into the center of uptown in that small Jim Crow Hamlet in Covington GA. My playmates and I joined that glorious flowing river of people singing the frist freedom song I learned just by repeating the verses. I am not going to let nobody turn me around. I am going to keep on marching on freedom's road. That long ago yet it seems like a blink in the arch of sunrise and sunset in 1966. Still sustains me as I move about in this Southern White Nationalist Destination. So many of those people marching on that Sunday afternoon are now my ancestors and I know that they are still lingering near. Thank you Dr. Carr and Karen for pouring righteousness and truths into our souls. Because of your platform I am receiving my true history. As a child in the public oppression school system in the mid sixites I thought my forefathers and foremothers came here on the Mayflower. I only learned the truth of my arrival when our now ancestor Alex Haley presented his masterpiece "ROOTS". When I was 17 years around the SUN!

I am always inspired when I drop in on these classes and I learn so much that I thought I knew. Places I thought I had been in my understanding. I always advance even more than I thought I ever could and I am thankful for that. I am thankful for you two and this public service.

I had to express how moved and how encouraged I was listening and watching this show... especially by the young brothers .. especially the one that was 26 years old and bought so much wisdom to the conversation. So inspirational. Thanks

I look forward to this class every week. It is uplifting, informative and I learn more here than with all my degrees combined (lol). I am so grateful for you, Professor Hunter and Dr. Carr. Thank you so much for this space for us to learn unapologetically!

As always thank for providing a space to get knowledge. Truly divinely driven. These are things I don’t think I would have found on my own. Thank you.

Yeah, I’m generally a STEM-oriented dude. So I’m just sitting down, being humble, and listening. 🤣

I'm proud of you and the work you are both doing Professor Hunter and Dr Carr. Don't under-estimate your own contributions, Professor Hunter. You are much, much more than a facilitator to Dr Carr - gorgeous as he is. You're two wonderful heartbeats deeply connected to magnify the voices of our ancestors with the love to remind us all about who we are going forward.
