If you ask any musician their favorite bands, these guys are always in the top ten list... a compliment well deserved.
Discovered them because James LaBrie said their latest EP is so Good and he wasn‘t wrong!

I saw Big Wreck in 2019 at Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco which is a small club which holds about 250 people. After finding a seat at the bar I finally got to hear Big Wreck live and they were incredible. A great band with an even greater guitarist and vocalist. Was a fan before and an even bigger fan after seeing them live. Hope they come back to SF area.
Big wreck is a new discovery for me. I’m hooked now. Locomotive was my gateway. You guys rock 🤘💀

Same here...i cant believe i missed out on them until this release (Bombs away is probably my song of the year)! Best thing tho is that i have tons of good music to backtrack, when nothing new give the chills :)
Check out 'The Pleasure and the Greed' album. It's a goddamn gold mine, man.
One of the last remaining excellent Canadian Rock bands each of these guys a stellar talent! Go see them live they're even better than on album! Saw them in Burlington in 2012 I'll never forget it!

You guys are definitely one of my top 10 Brian Doherty taught me how to play guitar few years back in Kitchener Ontario I’ll never forget him asking me what do you want to play and I said simple man first song he was teaching me lol that night I went to your concert it was awesome the streets was packed it was crazy I still play with the picks brian gave me to this day I’ve learned a lot wish he was still with us he really was a talented musician he won’t be forgotten. Rip

Given Ian’s love of Zeppelin I’m surprised that the high hat keeping time bleeding into the tom mics bugged him. I love that stuff. Man, I adore this band.

As always with Big Wreck, there is brilliance. I watch this and see and hear, Zep and some other well known god band.. :) But heck Big Wreck only get's better. look forward to more videos like this.

I've been a fan for a long while now, finally saw them last night in Pennsylvania. His intro to Albatross, this ecclectic slide instrumental, may be one of the most powerful experiences I've ever had and I've seen boat loads of shows. Their performance was a full set of talent and expression pouring out!

everything about this song is perfection or close to perfection. the harmonies in the chorus, the nuances you didn't hear the first time (the ding dongs?) etc or didn't hear because of different speakers.... really great..

Dave bombs replaced by the “brown note”. Love that they left in the hi-hat. The more imperfections the better. Good to see they’re going to be out playing shows. Need to book a run through the States. Eager to see the band live again.

This behind the curtain stuff is gold. Thank you so much for sharing these little nuggets about the song, especially sharing the isolated “ding-dong”. BTW, I heard the hi hat foot timing the first time I heard the recording and I LOVED it. My first thought: this is real, organic Rock and Roll!. It brought a smile to my face.
Ian's "ding-dongs" always make me think of the outro to Achilles' Last Stand (as well as lots of Cult songs)

I love this band so much and the music that Ian and crew make. Ian is a true musician and artist. I hope so much that they tour the US again. Otherwise me and the wife will be taking a trip to Canada to see them. I've never know a band to make consistently fantastic music while morphing with every album for as long as BW has. My biggest regret at this point is not seeing them while Brian was alive and still jamming with them as well as Paulo.

The sub drop actually took me by surprise. Didn't ever expect my subwoofers to give me THAT kind of rumble out of a Big Wreck song. Ill Advice had a pretty good thump to the kick drum, but this was different
Love the sub drop. Royal Blood has a great one in their song "Don't Tell" and so does Twenty One Pilots in "Heavydirtysoul"

Those "ding dongs" sound awesome. It's too bad they're only in the chorus and not isolated, or semi-isolated somewhere. I wonder what the acoustic opening would sound like with them. They're haunting.

The definition of impossible - Big Wreck makes a song that doesn't rock
The intro riff is great but it doesnt transition well into the main one. Its so jarring. But I LOVE the song.
