I own a '15 BRZ but because the roads here are like 30/70 potholes & bumps/good asphalt I went for adjustable swaybars, lowering spings and bilstein shocks. Ride is only slightly stiffer than stock and body roll is minimal. Actually, the handling was improved over stock when I'd only done the swaybars... and that doesn't affect ride quality at all. Also, everything worked out at less $$$ than a good set of coilovers. Just food for thought - its your baby, do what makes you happy. Peace.
SUBARU knows the car is underpowered and it’s obviously on purpose. Just a point to note. The people who want the power the most will modify the car. That voids the warranty. I came to your page to hear about the BRZ mods but all you seem to have done was gloat about your focus! Congratulations you win todays award, "Americans that talk too much!"
The exhaust on this car is stainless from the factory so it’s almost pointless to do a full exhaust. That being said the restriction points are the header and the axle back replacing those two pieces allows for much better flow. Overall there’s 5 pieces to the exhaust, the header, over pipe, front pipe, mid pipe, and rear muffler. It’s not worth replacing all the exhaust pieces for 800$ more than just the muffler and header.
Axleback gives you no horsepower gains but saves weight. that ul headers give more torq is a myth, the whole idea of headers is to even out the exhaust flow with equal length runners and reducing backflow pressure which gives better torq, unequal runners will have the opposite effect so put your money on a quality e,l header and a tune and get rid of that second cat and you get close to the 35 Hp gain.
