Rustinox, your way of putting things is more than funny. As a nutcase myself, I find a lot of joy in your youtube clips. You are explaining things in a way I do understand it, which is probably an achieivement in it self... God bless you, and stay well. I am praying for you.

For us guys being creative with machines, i think we sleep less cos of all ideas we end up having in order to do a job but thats part of trying to bring about help or created parts for others who dont easily have access to the workshops and equipment we have, not to mention the skills applied (also gained) so sometimes we can and should be forgiven for being a bit loony's😂

Just because there are "commercial" versions of tools, doesn't mean that there are other ways of getting a job done and I like watching your stuff because you have great ideas to make things work.

    Michel,
Very useful video... I am a firm believer that you really can do a lot with a limited amount of tools... and you are showing all that to be true.
    Take lots of care

Achieving square and parallel using nothing more than improvised fences and clamps should be a challenge for everyone. Thank you for showing that it is indeed achievable. I am definitely going to try to think out side the box and be more inventive in my set ups. 👏👏👍😀

Believe it or not, but i find setting up a job piece more satisfying than actually milling or turning it or what ever is being done, because i know if its done right or as best as you could considering resources you have, you know will the outcome will be good. Considering making things towards my hobby (hobby model trains) love using the imagination and good use of tools and understanding whst needs to be done, makes all the difference in ending up with a satisfactory workpiece completed

Gday Rustinox, your looking well mate, excellent video, you don’t need all the fancy equipment to do a great job, just need to put some thought into it and keep it simple, there’s always more then one way to get the same result, take care. Matty

I totally agree Matty - we all have different collections of tools and access to different things, but without being able to think through a problem to a solution one is totally sunk.

Maybe first to a little test. Mark the spot where the crankpin is fixed to the bullgear, and let the machine do some heavy work. After it will be easy to see if the crankpin moved or not.
