  • Yamaha has been one of only two major brands keeping 2-strokes alive, and recent product releases have shown that Yamaha is not even considering letting them go. Today, we take a look at a top-selling model, the YZ250X, which is geared towards the cross country racer and woods rider.
The YZ250X is based on the tried and true YZ250 moto-crosser, with so minor tweaks to make it more woods-ready out of the box. Features include revised calibrations for engine, transmission and suspension, low-profile head pipe, side stand, 18" rear wheel and enduro-spec tires with taller sidewall. Other minor details include a fuel petcock with a reserve position and a sealed O-ring chain.
Look forward to future videos focused on Yamaha expanding off-road motorcycle line-up.
