- There are 8 Restaurants and 6 bars to chose from at Siyam World and the quality is outstanding so I wanted to give you an idea on what to expect
Tempo - Is Casual buffet dining with a beachside terrace and live cooking stations
Barraabaru - Another buffet restaurant on the other side of the island (quite when we stayed)
Andulacia - Spanish with authentic aromas and flavours
Takrai - Gourmet Thai Cuisine
Kurry Leaf - Over Water Indian fine dining
The Wahoo Grill - Fresh seafood and the catch of the day, plus amazing Steaks
Arigato - CHARGEABLE Japanese fine dining unless you are staying in The Beach House Collection
Barrique - CHARGEABLE Signature restaurant in an underground cellar, gourmet menus with world-renowned wines
THE CUBE - CHARGEABLE A contemporary glass-fronted dining space on the beach, live cooking concept with the world’s most talented chefs
JUNGALI - Jungle pool bar in the heart of nature, lunchtime food to order and cocktails
MINT - Poolside Bar with Infinity views
TOGETHER - Large pool area with bar to match
KULHIVARU - 24hr Sports Bar
ORCHID BAR - Exclusively for The Beach House Collection guests (although we could use during our stay due to other pools being closed)
The Food is top quality with service to match. Champagne is part of the WOW all inclusive and so are branded spirits such as Aperol, Barcadi, Pimms, Baileys etc. At meal times in the buffet restaurant there are ice trays full of different wines - not just one White, Red and Rose like other resorts. You can chose between different Chardonnays, Pinot, Savignon etc. (important to anyone who likes their wine!). If dining elsewhere you can request any bottle of wine. The mini bar in your room is replenished daily and you can request your preferences. There are soft drinks, juices, wine and beer provided along with nuts and a Toblerone.
I would say this is the best food and drinks package I've ever had on holiday. Abu Dhabi and Dubai were high on the list but this even beats the luxury of the Middle East. You won't be disappointed if you chose to book Siyam World.
Lastly, I just want to mention that I have to eat Gluten & Dairy Free and it was no issue at all. In the restaurants they are very clued up plus the menu states what the dish has in it. This made life a lot easier. Please note that if you are eating in the buffet and have any food intolerances check with the chef as the labels aren't always fully correct
Thank you for posting these videos! My husband is going to this resort in the beginning of Mars to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. So nice to se everything from a traveler’s perspective, not just the nice pictures from the travel agency. 😀👍💛
Is it possible to ask for more than 1 main dish per person?
Im not sure but we ordered starters, soup, main & dessert and there was loads of food. I’m sure if you ask they will accommodate. The food is amazing!
Which restaurant was your favorite? Did you book them from home or did you do it when you arrived? ☺️
Hi, my favourite was between Takrai (we love Thai food) and Wahoo Grill as he steak was so good. I booked a couple before I left as felt it may be needed but actually loads of availability. The resort was only about 40% full during our stay though. We booked all restaurants on the app and you can easily cancel and reschedule if needed. If I was to go again I’d download the app before I travelled and book a couple of restaurants for first few nights then so the rest on arrival. Your ambassador will also arrange for you if preferred.
@@SavillesTravels i didn't know there was an app👍 is it siyam hotels app?
@@katarinastrom4193 just search on the App Store and it will come up. Really handy for the daily itinerary so you can see what activities are going on. If not the chances of being in the right place on such a big island is low. It also shows all your restaurant bookings and you can arrange the free dolphin spotting cruise on their too. I’d highly recommend- we must have seen 50 dolphins 🐬
What time of year did you go?
Hi, we stayed at the end of July into August for 12nts
Thanks, looks like an amazing resort
@@ianharvey3328 its a great resort for people that want lots to do or have children. In my opinion it doesn't feel like the Maldives (I've been 5 times) as the island is so large. The food and drinks is prob the best I've ever had on holiday but the workmanship is poor but the management as working on correcting this currently
Many thanks for your reply that’s very helpful especially as you have been 5 times. Am looking to go there with just my other half so may look for an alternative 👍
@@ianharvey3328 we loved Sun Siyam Vilu Reef (sister island, same company) but quieter and better snorkelling. We had a private pool villa with our son and loved it. Even he wasn’t bored as pool was great and snorkelling from the beach
It feels more ‘Maldives’ if that what you are looking for. It’s not as wow with the food and drink when we stayed but may be different now. Siyam world food and drink is like staying in Dubai, choice and great service. I loved this element but would always choose a smaller island in the future
what a poor reviwew! you go to fast!!
