Yea, the Northstar client. It was developed because Respawn is giving Titanfall no support and people can't play, so members of the community made a moddable client so they could play the game. They even got the algorithms for the NPCs semi-polished, so you can even play modes like Bounty Hunt or Attrition that rely on NPCs.
The fuck does Team Fortress 2 have to do with this, TF2 is Team Fortress 2, TF|2 is Titanfall 2

I guess the reason why Respawn don’t want to add wallrun is because the skill gap for this game, which is aready high, would gradually increase and push back the enjoyment for the newer players

The opposite. Apex is so hard to get good at because the environment is built for Titanfall, not apex.
They should make a game mode exclusively for movement, revamp Arenas for it, it would actually make it worth playing
plus their matchmaking is so garbage that those people high on the skill ladder would get matched with people near the bottom
skill ceiling wouldn't be as much of an issue if people were being matched with other people of similar skill (imagine that)

why do i see so many individuals developing better stuff than entire AAA studios?
AAA studios only do the bare minimum they need for the money to come in these days. It’s all about the money
cuz individuals got less jobs to keep up with. They come back from work/college and do their stuff, while aaa developers must follow the contracts and get money.

Because usually these modders are (respectfully) no lives and modding is a lot easier than actually making the game

Titanfall 3 requires a war to happen, so it would have to take place after Apex, or alongside. Storyline wise, it would be complicated, since why would the Legends not be a part of the war effort if it's a Titanfall game? So it would probably take place afterward or maybe in the core worlds which would be too far away for the Legends to actually get there/care? (Earth and our solar system, for example).
Titanfall was awesome, but I don't see the relevance of it in the near future, especially given how games are moving further away from pay to play for shooters, so Titanfall 3 would probably be f2p and encounter similar things that players of Apex complain about. Better to keep it a nostalgic experience for now, imo.

I'm not that much into Horizon lore but if she plans to go back in time to meet with Newton this could mess with the timeline and we could end up having a really good event where a couple features from Titanfall could make it into apex legends (for example a couple of guns, characters and even titans). It would also be cool to have the event when horizon's heirloom comes out, and it would even match up with Moy Parra's tweet saying they were working on something that'll make a lot of us happy.
This obviously has a lot of flaws but I think it'd cool if we had a big event :)
In one event I forgot which one there’s a memo that horizon leaves telling our horizon that she’ll get there eventually so it’s already happened and they can base that event off that.

There is no way she could go back in time, even if she really want it, anyway it is not hard to explain how titanfall weapons get in to apex, it is same universe after all
Hey imagine if they do it, now bear with me for sec, what if they gonna do mode that have limited legends do choices from but let's say bloodhound on example
They would give they pulse blade and pilot armor but passive and ult work the same do something like that to others legends and give them wall run and double jump
@@pengu0- Wasn't even an event per se, it was towards the end of one season and all you had to do was check a couple laptops or something, and then hop in the phase runner on Olympus. They basically made the time travel plotline unnecessary to follow up too much in later seasons because we got the payoff of "yep, she made it", so now she's just doing stuff in the background with Wattson and the crew whenever something else isn't going on. Lame storyline wise to some, for sure, but also pretty smart to get it out of the way somewhat early so we don't have that hanging thread there for XX amount of years.
Since season 1 I've wanted an event on a reworked titanfall map, with wall runs and everything like on the later Halloween events...I need this in my life, I'm down bad for it
Game files have Titanfall maps in them. Could be something coming down the pipeline that does this, but I'd honestly prefer to keep wall running out of it unless it was only limited to 1 or 2 legends. Some abilities would be useless, and other ones would be OP. Hipfire would also have to be adjusted for that mode, which could break main mode stuff too. lol
@Lampboi 1330 I like to believe that they are making a mode for apex that brings back the gameplay of titanfall 2 but only for that mode, titans and all. Could be that they are using the Halloween events to get player feedback for the idea.
I accidentally came across the Titanfall 2 soundtrack on RUclips, and when I listened to that first track I actually cried tears of happiness.

Yeah, Titanfall is actually fun.
I love how in every game a bunch of enthusiasts who get 0 payment, make more noticeable and impacting content than the creators themselves.
Having played Titanfall 2 professionally for 3 years back in the day, this does bring a smile to my face.
I don’t blame them for making the design and animations similar. Titanfall’s servers were bombarded by hackers to the point where it’s unplayable. The devs for apex may try to revive that nostalgic joy we felt in titanfall. If they make a titanfall character I’m all for it.
well we aren't getting titanfall 2 fixed anytime soon so might as well make number 3,

They just need to add a Legend that was a former pilot. Have him wear the old armor and fighting for money to help a loved one. Make him old and basically act like the dad of the other legends. Have him have a joke line be like “Back in my day-“

@NAWAF idk I just go into the game and it takes like 3 minutes to get into a match and sometimes it kicks me out of matchmaking but I just have to go back In and it works.
IT WONT HAPPEN BECAUSE APEX LEGEND DEVS WANT APEX TO BE A HERO/LEGEND SHOOTER NOT A MOVEMENT SHOOTER. Its not the skill gap that most players think the reason is for not having wall running, Its the philosophy of the current dev team, they want apex to be a hero/legend shooter, having advanced movement like like TITIANFALL 2 would negate and make alot of the abilities of the current legends and future legend obsolete and useless.

Well Apex born based on Titanfall, so it's inevitable to Apex turn into Titanfall 3 in my point of view, we already have a character who is a pilot based(Valkyrie = Viper), so we are very close to Titanfall 3.

Wall running is a ton easier than fatigue wall bouncing, tap strafing, Zipline ghost interacts, etc. Don't tell me wall running does not belong in Apex.

Its literally the same thing . Ive played TF2 recently and the pilots are running around looking like wattson with her gen on her back , abilities like scans are very similar .
The one big difference that kills it for me as a veteran pilot is how weak the apex double jump is. It eats so much momentum even with really good lurch control. Its so lame compared to titanfall. Wall kicks also arent a thing (or the timing is even harder in apex) so i cant zoom
A team deathmatch would be cool in apex. My deadass can actually learn to aim if that happens.

I want Br to no longer be the primary focus of Apex, I would rather have had Arenas be the main focus, or a death match style mode where depending on how many kills you get or if you play the objective then get killed you can purchase better weapons etc, or have it where any character can have any ability you just have to re buy it every time you die. I'm talking passives, tacticals, and ults, and maybe even a few unique ones that are exclusive to that mode.
They can't Make Apesex into Titanfall because of 1 thing, they need the fucking Titans, it's LITERALLY In the name TITANfall
I wish apex was like battlefront 2 where you can mod in all sorts of skin textures which is really cool (unfortunately it leads to more cheaters) ea would never allow it to happen though because then they would lose their money from skins
