As someone with really bad anxiety and paranoia this is so useful. The last few times I’ve been to London I’ve been walking everywhere out of fear of the transport system, (ik sounds pathetic) but thank you so much for this frfr
4:56 i think its vital that you mention that you need to go to the nd of tbe platform to get a non packed carrige(doesnt reqlly apply for sub surface lines :hammersmith and city , didtrict snd metroplitan and circle as you can fully walk through them. Finally make sure that when you want to go somewhere you check tge map to see if you have to go someowher3 split like ruislip manor on the central line whixh means you cant twke the one to ealing broadway also if you dont recognise the ppace where the train terminares, check the map as it can sommetimes 3nd befor the end eg. Terminates at arnis grive a few stops before cockfosters, the furthers you can go
Also the met line does not stop at all stations so if yph need to go to a certain station its better to wait and avojd the fast and semi fast also it onky tells you which line you can change for on gge nap in the train if it wont interchange at the next stop
Thames clipper boats, top deck of a double decker, the rentable bicycles, walking, or the new elizabeth line - I only take the old tube lines if those options are unavailable
Thanks for sharing! As for me, I believe I will have to double check all the time. It may not be challenging for the local people but for tourists it seems very challenging. I don't even understand if tourists are allowed to use their credit cards to pay for the underground. Can I use my international credit card to pay for the transportation? Will I be charged extra fee for it? Cheers! We all love London!
Don’t worry, you’re not alone!! As long as you have an international credit card with no international transaction fees, you’re good! I’ve lived here for over a year and still use my U.S. Capital One credit card for everything!! (Including the tube)
Also on the bigger doors its a family one for you and adult and as many under 11s, but between under 11 and until you finish a level you ahev half price train and free bus
There are fast and semi fast metroplitan line trains the purple one which goes from aldgate has non stop service on its journey between Wembley park and Harrow on the hill fast and semi fast Peak hours only, when tourists travel and between harrow on the hill and Rickmansworth non stop only fast trains not semi fast
How does a 10 year old go through the gates in the underground ? Im travelling with my daughters next week and they are 14 and 10. What does my 10 year old need to get through ?
Don't ask where the subway is here, a subway is only a pedestrian crossing under a road in a tunnel, the underground is never known as the subway at all, its type or underground
Wonderful explanation. I visited London a month ago and this video makes my life easy using London Tube. Thanks alot

Haha fair enough! The district, circle & Hammersmith and city lines are just as nice as the Elizabeth line!
I use the district and central lien all day District is significantly slower more packed and hotter and the central line is loud. But yet I live it

I used to work at Green park, u can walk miles underground wish they did uber buggies down there !
That would be cool!
Cool, is it quicker cheaper than taking a bus❤
Quicker yes. Cheaper no.
7:31 the met line doesnt
?

The announcements say what type of line it is but if you don't do your research you have to learn the hard way

They just walk with you through the gate! There’s always a luggage wide gate at every station that’s also used by families
@@SheRunTheWorld thank you so much !

Yeah it’s only ever referred to as the underground or tube here in London! In the US it’s referred to as subway or metro
Doesn't the oyster card have unlimited trips?
@@Cenlalowell only unlimited if you buy a monthly or weekly pass and load it onto the Oyster card, which is extremely expensive!
5:45 7 7 dint have to do what that lady is doing you could use a lift
I never said you had to? That was her choice? Lol
Yh I was just saying for those who require a wheelchair
You’ll follow signs that say way out?? Pranks
