Tips for Traveling without Knowing the Local Language
There is a beach, free, next to the beach clubs!! You go down an elevator in the cliff! Also if you grab a bus up the hill theres a secret beautiful place, its a short hike there but its a small ocean pool Bagni Regina Giovanna!!❤❤ you won’t regret going Capri-theres also a small free beach (bring water shoes), you can tide a bus up to the town or a taxi as well, right on the large plaza there is a little stand that sells lemon and orange freshly squeezed juice/granita. So Delicious!! Go go to the blue grotto
Thanks so much for sharing!!
I lived in Mexico and it was a whole lot safer than the US. Lots of US media fear mongering. On any given day log onto CNN news or any specific area you're interested in and see what pops up. Shootings, political hatred, extreme cost of living, racism, and lately retirees, young families etc just not able to afford their basic needs. Now I didn't spend time in border towns nor the big tourist areas in Mexico either. Thre are so many Americans and Canadians in Mexico either as snow birds or full timers. lived like a queen on a rather low (by US standards) income. If your're not in the drug trade compared to the US 👌🏼 I have several Canadian neighbors who say the groceries and clothing are 50-70% cheaper here in Scotland then Canada minus all that snow😂 and the taxes they paid in Canada.
Hmm I’d have to disagree- the US is definitely safer overall than Mexico. But thanks for sharing your experiences!!
I lived inthe USA for 50+ years (Vt, NH, MA, CT, NC, FL, WI, AZ, NM and Vegas) driving cross county numerous times before returning to Scotland. They're are quite a few Americans here and numerous English everywhere who lived in London long enough to make money and get out. Many young families and retirees seem to be heading to Portugal and the South of France for the sunshine and slower pace of life. With that being said I've seen English folks return back to England saying they would never complain about English weather again after living in Scotland (especially the wetterwest coast) 😂 it's an aquired taste. I'm exploring sunnier locals as well but realised after a winter in MX I'm not sure about learning a new language at my age. Maybe lots of slow traveling instead.
Very cool thanks for sharing!!
The Americans use measurements that are based on the British system. That why it's called the Imperial System. Some measures started to change in the UK over to metic system in the late 1960. Schools didn't have to teach children using the metric system until 1974, when the UK wanted 5o get inline with the EU. Hence cos I am old I was taught Imperial measurements. For a long time good in supermarkets in either pounds or kilos most items had both on them. This changed in 1997 when the UK went fully metric. We kept miles as the cost of changing the millions of roads signs would be too much. And ofcourse we kept the traditional pints in pubs, although bottled beer is sold in litres. On leaving the EU there was discussion about reversing the 1997 law and letting us use the Imperial system again, but little happened
Thanks for sharing!
I am going next monday😊
Amazing have fun!
Everyone I know own has a dish washer. Homes in the south east of the UK are much more expensive hence tend to smaller unless you are rich.
It’s not the norm for an apartment in central London
Move out of the south east of England and you'll find people are extremely good at small talk. Sit next to someone on public transport anywhere north of Milton Keynes by the time you get off you'll know some much about each other. Ofcourse that doesn't include the social awkward under 30 year olds who are too engrossed in thier phone to see the real world around them.
Thanks for your comment!
Thank you so much for this information. I create map for my journey but i can’t see the notes of the pins on the google maps app in my phone. Is there any way to see on the app?
You’re welcome! Honestly I think there must’ve been a new update a few years ago because I haven’t been able to see the pin notes on my mobile for awhile now which is frustrating :(
Thank you for this video! Our family will be visiting Argentina for 2 weeks and also filming vlogs for our channel. We found this video really helpful for planning out our itinerary and the google map is a great resource! One question- We will be traveling with our three kids who are all still very young. Would you say the city is easy to get around with a stroller/ baby friendly?
You’re welcome! Enjoy Argentina you will love it :) honestly I’m not sure, I didn’t really pay attention to how stroller/baby friendly it was since it was just me & my husband I’m sorry!!

Are you able to refer some job sites that are good for Americans looking to land a job in the UK?
I just looked on normal sites like Indeed, Linked In and changed the location to London. I found my current job on their actual company website! I don’t think there’s any job sites specifically for Americans for UK jobs unfortunately
Please don't try to cover up show women Ellen s.h.i.t. every one knows why she or he leaved or leaving united state !!!
@@chh3652 what are you talking about?
we don't want that American shit in the UK
you have to try d grande in chiswick for mexican food
How funny I just walked by that place last week and was thinking hmm I should try it. Cuz I haven’t seen many “Tex mex” specific places. I’ll definitely check it out thanks for the rec :)
Too much talking and not enough videos of the places. There wasn't even any videos of Positano and Amalfi! :(
The point of the video is to help you plan your itinerary! It’s not a travel vlog :)
Your Christkindlmarkt video is stunning! I captured my own experience in 4K HDR 2024 and would love for you to take a look: ruclips.net/video/_ZScj_O2zQ4/видео.html
England is a super green country, like just in its vegetation and general foliage. Its maybe the only benefit of its otherwise shit weather
Very true!! Haha

if you have, can you please give me more details for the minitrekking on top of the glacier for 42,000 ARS - i have only seen one (hielo y aventura) for ARS 480,000 p.p.
I’m sorry I didn’t end up doing the mini trekking on the glacier so I don’t have any info. But as you’re walking around El Calafate downtown, you’ll see that nearly every tour company offers one so you can go in and compare prices. No need to book with a company online before you arrive!
@@SheRunTheWorld thanks!

Great advice. Obviously you are very knowledgeable on this subject. I found this very interesting. Thank you.
Thanks so much, I really appreciate it! :)
The weather has been a bit rubbish this year. I think the British sense of humour is built in part on the 'variable weather ' we have here! That said a glorious Summers day, or indeed a Winter one, is hard to beat. I find the best way to enjoy the 'weather' is to get out in it and get stuck in, wearing suitable clothing of course! welcome to the UK and thanks for your fun and informative videos
I completely agree with you! When it’s a beautiful day out, it really is so magical. I appreciate and enjoy it more than ever before. Thanks so much for welcoming me and watching, I’m happy to be here :)
I definitely have a similar travel style as you, please share who your favorites are to learn from when researching about a potential destination! And of course I'll be using your itineraries youve shared!
Aw thanks! Honestly I don’t stick to specific people I just research the place by going through a few blogs and I can tell which ones straight away are the same type of traveler I am vs a little more boujee or interested in other things! I always take advice from multiple blogs to combine into my own itinerary
I purchased the smaller version of the same backpack you have : 40 x 20 x 25cm without the charging port. Size choosen just in case some airline be strict about personal item dimensions. Found it at $29.99 at Amazon last week. The coowoz brand. Khaki color. Wish should have an overlap on the main pocket zipper. Overall ❤ it. 😀
I have the 40x20x25 one! Glad you love it like I do, it’s amazing for the price :)

Great video! However, bear in mind that Interrail passes are only available to citizens of Europe. If you are not a citizen of Europe, then you must get the Eurail pass instead.
Yeah! It explicitly says it on the website so people can make the right choice when purchasing :) I just bought one myself!
Amazing, clear, short! Thank You!!

Wow you think there’s more to do in London compared to Los Angeles
@@Dr.AustinBlanchon ya I think so! Because what people don’t realize is what they think of as “Los Angeles” is actually made up of a ton of cities: Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Santa Monica, Venice, Malibu, downtown Los Angeles itself….. whereas the things to do in London are just in London! So much to do, all very close to each other not spread out in surrounding cities!!
Hello! Great Video! I was wondering which was the year and month of your travel? Thank you
@@sofianujnoi7650 hello, thank you!! October & Nov for Argentina and December 2022 for Chile
Perhaps you are not smart enough and moved to sh.t hole like the UK
Welp. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Don't feel bad for you, you chose to live in one of the most expensive cities in the world. Try living outside of London you'll find it a lot less expensive and a lot healthier.
I wasn’t trying to make anyone feel bad for me?? Hahha I love living here??
