I use vacurect and started injections 3 times per week 1 week ago. All good. Having sex with injections. After 2 weeks I was 100 percent continent. Keegles exercises religiously. I just passed 6 months. Cialis gives me wicked heartburn, so I've been struggling with that. My erections are nothing like they were pre-cancer, obviously, but it does get bigger, almost as large as before, and it's nearly enough for penetration. Your comment regarding "takes up to two years for nerves to recover" was very helpful. I am having pain after orgasm in the form of a "sharp ache??" if that makes any sense. Wife and I are working on it a couple times a week, and while progress is very slow, there is progress. Hang in there guys..... pun intended.

    I'm 73, had a radical prostatectomy when I was 65. Tried the meds no benefit. Injections worked but the pain in the penis was so intense I couldn't even touch my penis let alone use it. After 2 years post op I asked my GP about a penile prosthesis. I was referred to a specialist and 2 months later I was operated on. I can only say wow! I have had it several years now. No issues only pleasure. My partner is more than happy. No pills no doubt only erections when I want them. I have to say all my medical procedures were performed by the national health in Australia and cost me nothing. The strange thing is the hospital that performed the prostatectomy would not perform the prosthesis operation as it was against their religion (catholic). Thank you Australia.

      Im post surgery almost 6 months and nothing, even 100 mg of viagra does nothing. I am 55 and this is not a good situation. Drs say that natural erections etc are best but do I want to be years like this waiting to see if it happens? Also no one here even mentions recurrence which even if you make natural progress you may return to square 1 with more treatment. Either wy nothing will ever be as it was before, so erections on demand frankly doesnt sound like a bad thing..Your post was very helpful, thank you.

      @@nelsonoliva2119 Good luck on your journey, but remember to at least use a pump to get the penis active again. If you do nothing the penis will shrink. I lost an inch in the period before the operation to when I got the implant. I think that was 18 months or so. I tried everything. Very happy with the inflatable implant

      @@andrewcumming6319 thank you for your response. I have been using a penis pump regularly for that very purpose pretty much since the surgery. it works well but of course penis deflates after I remove it but it does stretch etc. Ive actually noticed a significant decrease of at least an inch while flacid , whoch I hope either changes naturally if i get natural erections back or will change with the pump if I go that route. thanks again for your input sir, this is a lonely and strange path we are on.

      Sorry so Just hang in their. It’s a year for me and nothing work and then a slight rise. I all but given up. I do Martial Arts to get over my ED. I practice at age 72, 45 mins aggressive workout followed raising my heart rate then top it off with Standing Gigong for 30 mins. Maybe it’s help. Previous to that the prostate surgery resulted in a Hernia and I develop damaged nerve making muscles hurt and my knee was a mess. I have never given up so I did lots of physical therapy workout. My knee is only 80% but at least it’s progress.
      I don’t expect a great erection cause it was a problem before the surgery
      So life goes on. At least tried one more erection before surgery. It’s only memories now

    In other words, it really depends on how good your surgeon / post-operative care is, and your general health at the time of the surgery. If you're an 80 year old obese diabetic, you're probably looking at waiting a long time before a cereal bowl full of Cialis will give you a semi.

      @ATouchySubject  29 дней назад

      Thank you for sharing how this makes you feel. I'm sorry this has come across as insensitive, that was not my intention. I use different turns of phrases like that as a way to hopefully help normalise the topic, make it more relatable rather than too clinical, and honestly if I say words like erection/penis too much in a video RUclips can deem it inappropriate and take it down. It's tricky to find a style of communication that will feel correct for everyone so I do encourage you to search for other educators who will relate information in different ways that resonate better with you. Wishing you all the best on your journey.
