The bill "House Bill 621" in Florida passed overwhelmingly in the Florida senate last week . House Bill 621 authorizes property owners to request action by the sheriff's office to immediately remove squatters from your home. Florida lawmakers pass bill to revoke squatters' rights, protect property . Lets push all 50 states to do the same thing.
Gee, I wonder why people are moving to red states? In a blue state you'll get 30 years of excuses and assurances that they're "working on it while trying to be compassionate to the unhoused".

I wish squatter hunters can help the lady in NY. Her parents passed and left her their million dollar home. She finds out squatters are there. The guy is renting out rooms to people and claiming her parents owe him money for working on the house. The police arrest her for changing the locks. Please help her.
I think the woman who was arrested finally got her squatters out.
I spent about $40k between lawyers, unpaid rent, and repairs. it took about 3 months to get the squatter out. Many people out there put their life savings to provide a home and cannot afford the ridiculous process of getting a squatter out. Ridiculous laws calls for ridiculous solutions. Thank you Flash! You are so brave, you inspire me. You are a true hero!
Thank you for sharing. I know it seems like $40k and 3 months is a lot and it is but I talk to people almost daily that are over $100k and almost a year into it. Most people starting out don’t want to spend a dime but I try to explain to them the cost of having my team remove typically between $5k-$20k is well worth the time saved and money. Most of my Zooms are people saying they wish they met me sooner.
@@FlashShelton1995 we bought a property (57 acres) from the Marshals Service that had been squatted on for several years after a drug bust. They made sure the guy, his wife and six children were gone when we arrived but I suspect they were the people who kept showing up driving around the place until we finally had the 8’ gate repaired.
This man claimed to be a minister and a Korean Diplomat…living in the middle of nowhere Oregon. He went from property to property tricking or trying to squat up and down the Willamette Valley. He had the use of a John Deere tractor that he never paid for and used throughout the growing season refusing to answer their calls or return it when the dealership showed up wanting it back.
We received mail for him for eight of the ten years we owned the place. He tried to get the Mercedes dealer in Wilsonville to sell him two cars claiming the diplomatic title.
Because my husband is Asian and I am Caucasian just like the squatters wife we had a difficult time doing business as everyone thought we were this couple. He was eventually arrested and in prison for a scam on the east coast worth $750,000. As soon as he got out he was back at it again but that time they put him right back in our local prison here in Salem.
These sorts of people are the dregs of society and should not be allowed to get away with this. Respect my ass, Rocco! Thank you for what you do.

@@VelvetyMoon I watched it again - his accent is thick, but you're right, the first time he said it, he said "his father was like a father to me". The second time he just said "his father was like a father" with no qualifiers and that was the one I noticed so it sounded funny.
The house, which is currently on sale for $4.5 million, was previously owned by an orthopedic surgeon, Munir Uwaydah, who fled to Lebanon after he was accused in the murder and death of 21-year-old model Julianna Redding, with whom he was also reportedly in a relationship with. Uwaydah has also been linked to a health insurance fraud scheme and remains at large, according to a 2015 report by the L.A. Times.

Fla namely pasco county fla, if you are on a fixed income, on social security, and courts will waiver the fee for evection. Which they did for me. Thank god he's getting evecited.I had to sell my property because Patrick Dailey trashed my home beyond what I can afford to pay for repairs. Patrick Dailey is a squatter he has done this in every state. He sold all of my belongings. I make $8000 a yr. Retirement

Florida just changed the laws. You can now call the police and have them squatters removed.
We should be able to sue them the squatter, and or put them in jail for vandelize,and destruction.get plate numbers,or how I had to do it

Ok finally after a year and a half squartter will be evecited next week,he threatened me,told me he is going to destroy my home and he has,sold all of my dads tools and furniture,tried to say I abanded the place,conned the neighbors,now its for sale,ruined it beyond repair.in new port richey fla.I want him to go to jail.Hell with suing him.

English law used to have a "Protected intended occupier " clause for squatting an owner or leaser who intended to live in the home and his agents were allowed to use ANY force to take possession of the home
laws have changed somewhat since then but certainly at that time in the 80s the law struck a balance between letting people have shelter rather than banks and holding companies doing nothing with properties
and genuine occupants of homes being able to reclaim them without massive legal fees
That’s a good point. Banks did use to hold and sit on properties for decades. The squatters then technically wouldn’t be infringing on any individual’s rights. I can see why this would be protected. But when the property is held by an individual? Corporations have massive amounts of power and money to fight in court…individuals don’t. One more issue…corporations are considered persons under the law now. So unfortunately, any rights we give to individuals will also apply to BlackRock. That’s definitely an issue. This is a challenging world we live in.

No license plate which is illegal in CA. Definitely not on the up and up. The license plate on the yellow sports car is also illegal. Either you need a paper plate with an ID number or a real plate. No BS dealer brand paper.

Bottom line of respect...as they break in and live in thd owners property. Who the hell made it public they could confuse the law stealing homes that belong to another person. So i buy the home, and there are people squatting in it. ( i psy cash so it is mine not the banks) i have no legal way to force them to leave my premises bc its my legal residence? How are we rewarding evil behavior and punishing hard working ppl that buy a property?
I had tenant in Croatia with 5 kids. The flat was huge but not so renovated so students always complain about this and that. This lovely family was all about faith, Christianity. Modest. I let them in and that was big mistake allready after 2 months they just stop paying rent and bills too. Later I learned they were trained, after few years of living like this they were allready pro level. no money they said , but drinking Johny Walker black label I saw when visiting, I aksed how you have for whiskey and not for bills, they sadi it was birthday celebration they have to live...I cut of electricity and took them another month to pack bags....

They were allowed to stay because law enforcement can’t remove suspected squatters without a Judges order after a civil process has completed. Thank you for watching.

@@ckh2815 Fox News asked me to the location for an interview. I made an assessment and offer. Until the agent in charge of property asks for help I can’t do my work. That’s why I say in the video if they ask me for help.
