The primary is an account I've had for a long time (but my provider has shut it down) and so the calendar has a lot of recurring series dates, birthdays, reminders etc. If I change the default data file address to the new email account will those calendar dates transfer to the new default account?

what about the emails? The file structure and so on, on my personal email? Will it dissapear when i delete my personal email? My job account is primary account, and i cant change it. Thats why i need to try this tech tip. Btut i dont want to loose the filestructure or the correspondence i have! I appreciate all answers

Not for the primary account, going via the control panel brings up the same outlook account settings dialogue box which will not let you delete your primary account if you haven't replicated it's data files. Hope this helps :)

Idk I think it’s a legacy issue with outlook tbh. If you’re not getting the text message you’ll need to sign into your office account online (office.com) and double check you have the right number attached to your account
The screen on the laptop isnt clear..it makes it really hard to follow along with just your words .Please work on making sure that step by step processes are clearly shown .You have to show us where to access those settings for the account too .Just a feedback from a visual learner. Some of us want to see well so that we follow.Thank you.Maybe only show your face at the start of the video and remove it from the corner,so that We only hear your voice while we see the process on the laptop .That will be so easy to follow along.

That is certainly one method. Can one not merely delete the Outlook profile from the Control Panel \ Mail?

I have 2 exchange accounts and this trick didn't work for me. Could you recommend another option?
if you delete the Outlook profile will you lose all emails and subfolders when re adding it?
Emails are stored online so it will remain :)

It didn't work for me, says I have to change my email from all Exchange accounts. Will have to search how to do that. I hate Outlook

I just delete the mail profile and re-create it.
