Inno has mentioned they plan to close the loopholes for the advanced units in Indy/PE it was never intended to be available but resourceful people figured out the hack. So there is a time limit to the advanced units. No hard date yet.

While it seems that will be a thing, I think its an interesting aspect to keep (in many cases) more experienced players engaged. After you do this for years you might think...huh well what if I try that on a new world?

@@foeadvance7024 Agreed I stated 2 new servers just to try it. Granted I don’t play either anymore. Lol

InA is better with Turtles+Rail Guns (be sure to fight the last provinces of FE to get them)

      4 Turts + 2 Rails + 1 Rogue + 1 Drummer = invulnerable army at low attrition, yes

You can still get OF Turturrets in Early Middle Ages btw!

That is not true. The earliest age is Industrial age. There is no player with hover tanks in EMA.

I'm Switzerland on this one. I know a couple die hard experts I can ask. I want to say our guild player who had Hovers was in LMA or HMA...and if he could have done it in EMA he would have.

I really don't like that so many people in my guild are camping industrial and progressive era just for hover tanks. It seems like such a boring way to play the game. I'm surprised Inno has let it go on this long because it hurts their monetization. People who don't age up can't unlock more city tiles through research. The lower era players have no space to buy and place all of the new expensive event buildings.

Well, I have an account in progressive with turts and hovers. I conquered all the way including the SAV map (with Virgo and 3000/2500 stats). That gives you quite big city with lots of room to place the newest buildings. Also, when camping in PE, you don't need Alca, CF and AO. That's a lot of extra space that normal players needs but someone who camps with hovers does not!
But after a year and a half of being a superhero in GBG I grew tired of it and abandoned that account. Now I'm in OF, pressing onwards to Titan. It's much more fun than my PE account.

The way I divide this in my mind is that if they aren't hurting the guild with lack of treasury donations (esp if it's a GBG guild) then to each their own. But even that is up to guild leadership to decide and enforce. I think a lot of people play this game really casual as an escape and not really to grow.
