Welcome to quite an unexpected video, but definitely a welcome one! Yesterday the Product Head of Forge of Empires, Matt, shared their plans for the future of the game! So in this video I go through the announcement, then speculate on all of it might mean. A lot of interesting stuff ... from improved army management and GB donation menu, more guild features and rewards (guild raids / quantum incursions), updates to existing features like GE, GBG, Settlements ... community sprints, and more!

GBs need to be adjusted as well. They are rapidly approaching obsolescence
As I read somewhere, they are very quickly losing their 'Great" status and so many of them are absolutely useless like colosseum, gaea and don't get me started on Atlantis Museum. I didn't even know the AM existed until Progressive era, and at that point I had been playing the game for almost a year. I'm fine with the current power of the Oracle though, because I like how it is useful for the first few weeks or months of the game, but then you need to delete it to optimise space. It's a good way to introduce opportunity cost into the game imo
It would cool to see a Roman Empire settlement that boosts the Colosseum GB, things like that.

I think that the "new" five difficulty levels in Guild Expeditions will replace the current ones, not add 5 more. But we'll see
I really like the settlements and am glad to hear they have a new one on the horizon. I would love to see Event settlements, especially to replace some of the less fun events like the Wildlife event and last year's harvest event

Would also like server megers or lower max in guilds for less active servers, so there's more active guilds

Elvenar got seasonal challenges, basically an event quest series that stretches 3 months. Works in Elvenar but... yeah, I am curious
So a questline lasting 3 months? 1 quest per day?
I'm really wondering how it's gonna be. I don't think in city defence at all, and yet I have 1.5k/1.3K, because inno puts city defence status in literally every building, with a very few exceptions. So, they're talking about offense and defence, but you can get both and still a single way to run your city.
The PvP proposal was great, however the reality is fighting against bots, because no player is good enough. And those who grow the city defence have their score drastically reduced. My points were cut in about 40%. My best fight now is Ebony, she worths around 450 points. As a result, guys with diamond farms are leading. And I won't talk about the prizes. I've been for over a year in the 1st place, and I got 250 diamonds once. Most of the times the prizes are goods, reno kits, shrine of knowledge and other useless stuff. I'm afraid they're again adding more stuff, but poorly designed, like they did with pvp.
The great announcements are regarding 5 extra GE levels and the maintenance of extra events. There was a lot of complaints about rival, but mainly because inno caught players off guard, with no coins and tickets saved in the first challenge. The second one I closed without spending a single diamond.
Until very recently everyone could get anything, just by playing every day of the events. Now you must play well the events to get good stuff without spending money. Many might hate it, but I see a much better sense of accomplishment when I get something very hard to achieve.
I hope the new settlement is worth it. I feel like fooled to spend so much time and now I only keep the temple of the sun and the yggdrasil in my city. I hope they give us some gold levels for the other settlement buildings. And I'm curious to see how they will address repetitive tasks with a settlement. There's nothing more boring and repetitive than it.
Well, what we can do? Let's just sit and wait.
Personally, I don’t think they are doing GE levels 6-10. I think their wording is vague, but I’m guessing they are replacing the current 5 levels with 5 new levels or something similar.
That was my initial though when I read the auto-translated version, but with the way it's worded "introducing 5 new..." feels like too poor of a wording if it's just a rework. Also the fact they mention working on things for "the next couple of years" makes me think it's more than a rework of the 5 current levels.
But who knows, guess we'll have to see :)
The illegal use of bots has destroyed the game and its fun. My greatest wish is that INNO takes urgent measures to transform this illegal, disastrous and unequal technology into a fair, pleasurable and equitable technology. Only then will the FOE have a good future.
Please do something against bots and people who feel above the rules and laws when they use this scam. The use of bots, hacks and battle software turned FOE into displeasure and fatigue. Players who use bots feel very comfortable, they are not afraid, they have no morals, ethics, because they understand that INNO is lenient with them and the bots.
I'm not against technology, but it needs to be in line with the rules, transparency, dignity and justice. Technology cannot be exclusive and rapacious against those who play honestly and with dignity.
No more illegal bots! Be nice, don't use bots. Play fair!

INNO is going Bankrupt. Both in their moral "Inside" gamers and outside. If you spend loads of money on Diamonds, you can basically get away with anything you like. They continue to allow certain guilds to use "BOTS" while other guilds will get booted.
This statement is just a "red herring" to string people along for a little longer.
Everyone thinks just bcz someone is faster or better they must be using a bot. There l said it 😭🤡
Here are some thoughts on GE balancing of attack and defensive skills:
1. Have 10 levels but operate the in pairs.
2. Odd numbered levels depend on defense levels, and even levels depend on attack values.
3. Keep the guild price the same but have each payment unlock a pair of levels.
4. Have the attack and defense values the same for each of the levels in a pair.
5. Use the current values for difficulty in levels 1-5 for the difficulty for the corresponding pair.
So they’re ignoring the main player issues and prioritising fleecing players
What would you say are the main issues?
@@MooingCatFoE 1 and 2 in the list. Which they aren’t prioritising despite apparently being the most important to players. By the time they do there will only be seven of us playing on a server.

when you come up with too many updates, you destroy the game. That happened to Tribal Wars and Grepolis. Getting from 50k players a world to 5k.
That's what FoE will become soon. This game ain't FoE anymore.

So bad that they have no plans of several years for balancing the game in particular. AD has become useless completely. Thousands of in game items are useless already. A huge bunch of GB's are useless already. And many more are becoming useless with these ultra powerful special buildings being launched in every event.
