You said get rid of the arc. That's insane, it's the most helpful GB in the entire game. Removing it would be one of the stupidest things you could possibly do.
That's the least of its value. Our guild spent over 1 million goods on GBG last season and that was funded by arcs. Then there's the GE competitions with fp prizes paid for by high level arcs. I can help grow the GB of others and it not cost me any fp. We are nothing without our guild mates and wider community so binning a gb that offers so much is just madness.
In one of the cities, you talk about old building/losing strength. It would be helpful if you did a video on buildings that are past their time. Heck, it would be cool to hear your thoughts on new buildings and which old buildings they most closely replace. I'm positive that i have a ton of old buildings that need to be replaced. It would be great to know where to start. I only discovered your videos in the last couple of months. I played everyday, but i didn't fully see the bigger picture. Thanks for opening a new wrinkle in this game.
You can check out my video on power creep. It's not necessarily what you're asking about, but gives a sort of perspective on it. ruclips.net/video/GiPAjifz5AU/видео.html
When the nutkraker gaurdhouses came out, they were the best 2x2 building. As the event buildings advanced, the attack became less effective. I am still glad I kept 16 of them because of the mass aid fragments. It is funny because in the beginning I was rolling my eyes at the aid fragments. Now they are a life saver.
I like what u did in this vid, i would love a part 2/3, i find ur vids really good, the thing is i am scared posting my city as i know its not all that efficent.
I have the same motivation problem as the 3rd one, but instead of disconnecting the buildings it's better to just stop collecting them. It doesn't destroy your military stats and the motivation will never disappear. Just collect what your need to be motivated

I think that everyone plays the game differently. I could care less if my city is pretty or aesthetic. I also don't have the money to spend on a pastime for entertainment. My focus is to get my main world as far as I can and to be as efficient as possible without spending an exorbitant amt of time. But I don't judge other cities by my standards. I have diamond worlds that only are there for diamonds- that's it. My beta world is there to give me info on the next event in advance. Everyone plays the game differently according to his / her own goals. I think that is why the game has been successful.
Great video! I use to have to wait 1.5 (1.33 if lucky) days before collecting my builds, otherwise a ton of my good ones wouldn't get motivated, I hated it fiercely! But now I have enough mass-self-aid kits to last me until I produce one more nutcracker house, and then I'll have 14 (2 of them being at lvl 2) and a mass-aid kit everyday, guaranteed! Its awesome! :D I know I'll have to soon part-ways with dated buildings like the Airship, the Mikawa Bridge, the Piazza set... :( It would be great if you could make a video about outdated buildings!
There was a guy on Ankhor, wish I could remember a name, with 2 lane roads all through his city....MADE OF SIDE-BY-SIDE ONE LANE ROADS! They made picture frames around all his buildings, which were about 80% premium diamond buildings! Absolutely the worst thing I have ever seen - had to look away and throw up a little in the back of my mouth
I can't wait til Winter Event so i can get enough Nutcrackers. I must have been sleeping last winter, only got 1 Ted's Choc and took months to set it down. Currently have 4 NG's and am hurting for enough aids. Have 50'ish Mass Aid kits that i'm trying to spread out til December. Over the past 2 months i've gone from nearly 500 single aid kits to less than 50.
@@JuberFoE Why would you get rid of two of the most valuable great buildings the game has to offer? Especially if you are a fighter! I assumed you were by your city layout. new event buildings give 0 pop, few levels on Inno Tower can slove that problem when starting new city, then he can delete it later when no longer needed
Great job. I hope you do this again. I feel my city is far more modern than mamy of these. I have recently sold my terracotta vinyard, my cherry gardens and hippodrome. I am in Colonial Age and have 1000/950, 400/420. I complete GE 5 quite easily. Maybe at worst 30 diamonds for the last 4 GE levels of negotiation. The power creep is glorious!
That's a really good point about the problem of having too many event buildings - if you can't get them all aided, it's incredibly inefficient, and what's worse is that since the aid-all button was introduced, some of the most important buildings are NOT prioritized and often go unaided, for whatever reason. I've noticed that my Viceroy's Villas will often go unaided whereas ALL of my many little Buccaneers Hideouts 1x1's will get aided, it's totally backwards. I've started having to use mass self-aid kits every day precisely because many of the most important buildings would go unaided otherwise. I've placed every nutcracker I have (5 or 6), but need about 3x that number to generate one full mass self-aid kit each day. With just under 100 kits left, I'm running out of time. I'm thinking my best bet is to (A) look for mass self-aid kits as daily specials in events and load up on them whenever they appear, and (B) focus on getting another couple of fully-leveled Chocolateries in the upcoming Winter event to help create the nutcrackers I need much quicker (probably in the form of Epic Winter selection kits). If you have any suggestions about how to address this increasingly common problem, please don't hesitate to share your thoughts whenever. I guess a third option is to store or disconnect all non-essential buildings, but that's sort of a last resort IMO.
The winter event will bring an epic kit with the nutcrackers, chances to get more chocolateries, and even an upgrade to the nutcrackers. Plenty of mass self aid kit potential

.exe's city is nuts. how does someone get so many upgraded governors villas? this must have cost a fortune. I find cities with rows of the same buildings utterly boring.
The sentinel outpost point in the first city is just wrong. basic maths. And why do you keep saying if you moved the 1x1 buildings to the outside of your city you'd have a lot more space? I wasn't aware that 1x1 tiles were smaller on the outside of the city.
It's simple. You want the buildings that need roads as close to your town hall as possible to minimize roads. So if you have 1x1s on the interior of your city, they are taking up space close to your town hall that could instead be compressed a bit further to allow buildings that need roads to get closer to the town hall. In this example, it would save you one road tile at the end of the day. But that's still useful space that can be better used by something other than a road, that actually provides a benefit to your city.
There is absolutely no need to have the Titan gbs placed in the order they are "supposed" to be. There is no additional benefit to placing them in that order. They can be placed in any order around your city and don't even have to be next to each other. You are giving points for originality but you are shaming someone for not placing buildings in what you think of as the "correct way".

Agreed. "These buildings should go this way instead of this way." Lol what? Will they produce more stuff if they are positioned horizontally? I think I'm just not hardcore enough for worrying about how many forks I have in the road, or which buildings face Northwest instead of Southeast.
