      I truely believe if everyone just went forward and looked south of Springfield and did searches of these women south of Springfield someone would find something bc I truely believe that they were buried near a area where Larry Hall had buried 2 other women Cheryl Ann Kenny and Angela Hammond. I just know for a fact that all 5 of these women are buried somewhere outside of Reeds Spring Missouri within a 5 mile radius from it.

My wife is from Mt. View and sadly her parents were part of it and I know the police searched the area for the girls and as soon as the police showed up there she said her parents moved the next day leaving all their belongings behind.
      That’s the only one that has truth to it the others were guy showed up from the party late at the house that the daughter knew that’s why no forced entry and was responsible. The other being a complete random murder by a transient which is far fetched. There are so many stories to this day it is talked about very often.

    Strange how the police won't arrange for the small section of concrete to be dug up 🤔 and why won't the building owner do it as it's only used to store cleaning items 🤔 if someone famous was alleged to be buried there then they'd of dug it up in 5 mins! People should contact the state governor to complain, especially in the election year.

    • @Arthur5260
      @Arthur5260 3 месяца назад +17

      I like the idea of it being an election year and maybe getting results. I'm wondering if perhaps a Judge won't issue a warrant to dig it up because it's not believed that there is enough probable cause? State Police, if the local PD is suspect? Otherwise, in a perfect world, the hospital owners would consent to it being dug up, just for the family's peace of mind. Sad case.

      Over a long period of time the motivations for not investigating the disappearance only add to the suspicion. There is no reason not to investigate in 2024. Cold case crimes are reviewed everyday and some are solved albeit years after the fact. I always ask why is one case more deserving of second look and find the answer comes back to someone wanting to protect the criminal or their kin. Its time to stop playing these games for the sake of the family of these women.

      It could be just as basic a reason as expense too, as well as a cover up. The municipal budget for law enforcement and local government departments won’t cover the cost of an historic case like this unless there’s a huge push by any remaining relatives. It’s disinterest and that “what ever” mentality. They’d all be pushing the buck between each other too, saying it’s not their responsibility or department. A private company could investigate the car park, it’s privately owned i guess. But they’d want a huge fee too, it’s always about money, and this type of excavation with manual labour costs, equipment, expertise……it’d be very expensive. It’s so tragic though for the victims, they deserve to rest in peace and dignity.✌🏻🙏🏼

      sad, I don’t think sex had anything to do with it. Drugs and money maybe. These women saw or heard something they shouldn’t have. The fact t hat there was broken glass on the porch makes me so,Nader. Whoever heard of three women going to breakfast, or any place else that they weren’t dragged away, leaving their purses behind! I wanted to things in the police were involved are they really screwed up their investigation. Could be both. The thing that makes it look the most respect. Is the fact that they have cordoned off the area so that no one can get there and do any testing or dig it up at this point why don’t they just do it up so they don’t look so guilty. That’s what I would do if I was the person that they were looking at and I knew they weren’t going to find anything I’d say dig it up clear me. If I had done it, I would be doing what they’re doing hiding it so no one can get into it you know, there is no such thing as beneficial than bad cops I’ve seen it firsthand!

    I am born in raised in springfield mo. I'm still here and I have always believed that's where they are. I have never understood why we don't just dig it up. Now if the rumor is true about a law enforcement connection and that person is no longer alive why not let it be uncovered? Unless someone else was involved who is still alive.

      I know that the thinking here is the "blue wall" or whatever people call it; cops protecting their own. While that's a possibility it's also possible that there was no solid evidence for an arrest let alone a conviction.
      Okay, so the purported killer is dead now. That means no possibility of a conviction and without rock-solid evidence the authorities could end up looking bad for dragging a dead person's name through the mud.
      The thing to remember is that absolute proof of guilt or innocence is extremely rare. Even a confession doesn't necessarily mean the confessor did it as people often give false confessions for any number of unknown reasons. There are many famous cases where authorities felt they knew who did it. They just didn't have anything solid enough for an arrest.

    I lived through this when it happened. It was the talk of the hospital because a groundskeeper for Cox Medical Center was Susie's boyfriend. He was arrested for grave robbing, and she was set to testify. I worked as a nurse, and policemen worked as guards there as a second job. One told me he saw the van in question parked by where they were going to pour the new highway the next day. It also runs behind Cox Hospital. That whole area was torn up to build the garage and extend the new highway. I saw Suzie with a crowd of kids at the Battlefield Mall the weekend before. She was very exuberant and loud, which is why I noticed her. Perhaps when they stopped to eat at a well known after hours restaurant that night, she drew attention to herself and Stacy.

      Also, the answering machine message that one of the girl's mother's had left had been erased by the time the police got there. Now, we weren't inundated with CSI all over the television back in the early 1990's, so people didn't have as much awareness of how important it is not to disturb a crime scene...but there's enough odd things that happened when people came over the next morning that it's hard not to believe that someone in that group had something to do with it.

They had a prime suspect but have never arrested him for the crime. The daughter had also just broken up with her boyfriend and they weren't on good terms. Also, when friends and family discovered the house empty the following morning, they cleaned up the house and erased a lude message on their answering machine, so that the mother would not be upset when they thought she'd return. I find it difficult to believe that 3 bodies laid less than 2 feet below the surface for over a year without detection. They went missing in June of 92 and the slab was poured in Sept of 93. This was close to their location and would have been looked at probably many times for any sort of anomaly at the time of their disappearance. If in fact the anomaly is only a foot or two down the smell would have most definitely come to the surface drawing peoples attention. This just doesn't seem like the likely location especially since at the time it was wide open therefore whoever put them there would have spent a considerable amount of time prepping the ground to bury 3 bodies and running the risk of being seen.

I think what most probably happened is that when they went to the convivence store on the way home to buy cigarette's that a serial killer saw them and followed them home. The he or they knocked out the porch light and barged in at gunpoint. Then duct taped them and put them in a van and drove them to a remote location. Sexually assaulted and murdered them and either buried the bodies or dumped them in an old well.
