Caran d’Ache neocolor 2, water soluble pastels.👽 First impressions and demo

My first time using pastels. It was a pure pleasure using this medium, can’t wait to continue my exploration and incorporate it with other mediums.
I bought the 100% cotton colored paper from a store called “All Things Cotton Paper” on Etsy.

This is such a wild piece, I love it. The peaceful suburban house with a giant fly on it, so cool 😎
I just ordered my first set of neocolor 2s, I’ve been dragging my feet on getting them for a long time! I’m kinda stoked to get them now😊

Oh, hello again😄. Drawing bugs is definitely a weakness of mine! The idea of a bug wearing a lab coat and doing rounds in a hospital is actually cracking me up right now😂 (it just came to mind--one of those random thoughts). Anyway, the neocolors are totally fun🙂. I will keep an eye out for your neocolor 2 video😉😘

These are not “oil pastels”. These are watersoluble wax.
