Hi! Unfortunately, to make these pancakes mochi, it requires glutinous rice flour, an essential ingredient to create that chewy mochi texture. Is it possible to just boil the sweet potators or they must be steamed?
You can boil it, you just might lose some sweet potato flavor thats all!
I boiled mine with the skin on and peeled it afterwards. This way you won't lose the flavour. Hope it helps :)
