Day 5 of week 1 for me! Only very mild nausea and a massively decreased appetite and food noise. I’m looking forward to my next shot because that appetite is coming back today. Have 35 lbs to lose and your video gave me the courage to start this med.
Yesss the appetite slowly starts creeping up 1-2 days before the shot. I’m feeling that today so I’m ready for my next shot tomorrow morning 😅 So happy that you’re having mild symptoms! Hope this next week is good to you too 🙌🏼
I developed insulin resistance in the last couple of years. Fit all my life, have always been thin until peri menopause. No amnt of healthy living could impact the insulin resistance. I just picked up my 1st mo of Wegovy! 40 lbs to shed... I start today, 12/27/24! Congratulations on your weight loss!
Wow, TWIN, literally. I swear I would have wrote this myself, if you didn't lol, because this exactly me, and I just started Wegovy today. How has your experience been thus far?
I think my favorite part about this whole journey is just how real it’s been and you’re literally showing us everything!! like I love it. Crazy that people are mean about this online, like you said you’re still putting in the work with this medication!! 👏🏾
I’ve just started my journey. I am a lot like you, I love food and love to eat a lot of it. I completely changed what I was eating and how much prior to getting my shot. Also, I began walking daily, 10,000 steps a day. I am so happy to see you here and to share your journey. You have given me faith that I can continue mine. Thanks so much!
Since you mentioned comments I decided to finally say 👋🏾. I just got blood work completed to make a decision on going this route. Thanks for sharing your experience.
1st injection tonight and I am so excited for the new year. I have gained 25 pounds in the last few months and need something to change. I just started a yoga class and plan on going every day to see what happens in a month.
So far my experience is pretty good on my first month, I am pairing it with carnivore diet. My carnivore is not super strict, I have added on little things here and there. I don’t cook with seed oils anymore, bread and noodles I have on the weekend, the week is meat…salad, cheese yogurt, fruit and vegetables but mostly meat. Most meals is just meat, but sometimes I just prefer a salad since my appetite is not large anymore. My goal is to just do mainly meat because it makes me feel really good, cutting out sugar helps with lowering inflammation. Plus once I get off of glp my diet will be consistent.
Your videos have really helped me tremendously, I’m on day 4 from the first week shot & can’t wait to see my results the further I get along. I want to lose 30…fingers crossed.
I think the biggest thing for me on this journey of using Zepbound is not only healing my relationship with food as a restrictive under-eater with no thyroid. I had no hunger cues no food noise and this has been a game changer, it’s given me that back. I see so many people say oh I haven’t changed what I eat just how much. I don’t find this to be helpful and I believe it sets you up for failure. If you don’t address the how and why you will fail and gain all of not most of it back.
I haven’t heard of anyone using it when they were under eating so this is so interesting!! I’m happy that it’s been able to help you! From someone who has been on the opposite side of the spectrum, still being able to enjoy food but just in less quantities has been a game changer for me. This journey has definitely motivated me to clean up my eating and I’ve been following the 80/20 rule but still allowing myself to eat what I’m in the mood for as long as it falls within that 20 range. I think what sets you up for failure is cutting out a bunch of foods and restricting yourself. When I’ve done that in the past, I start to really want foods I’ve restricted myself from having and that’s when I start to binge and spiral out of control. Finding balance with still eating foods I enjoy but not binge eating them is key for me!
Ahh that’s so exciting!! It’s honestly not as scary as it seems! When I do my thigh, I don’t feel it at all. I feel the tiniest pinch on my stomach but not bad at all! Just make sure you get a good amount of protein in today and drink your water!
@@Tamara_the_CFOhave u tried phentermine? I am currently taking it again it helped me lose a lot of weight really fast. They r pills tho not injections im here because after im finished with this bottle of phentermine im going to try semaglutide
I just started almost a month ago. I am 52 yrs old. Starting weight 161. You’re brave and helpful to share. We are all in this together! Good for you!

It is so refreshing to see people being real and authentic on the internet. Unforunately we don't see much of that these days so thank you❤

First of all its not cheating, you are putting in the work and eating well, preparing yourself to carry on without the meds. All the best

Started today had a minor rash over site and just in hopes of nothing major 🙏🏼
Update had to discontinue my injections due to heart arrhythmia I was getting in my opinion there’s nothing like working out 😩
Congrats on ur 2 months of Semaglutide journey 🎉🎉
Thank you!!😊
@@keishapettway u welcome
Ready for my 2nd shot , low energy levels but eating fruits and veggs.
Hopefully your energy levels get better! It took a few weeks for me to stop feeling so fatigued
Omg I love this for you!! Will you please share which brand you’re using please?
Thank you!! I order it from a local place here in Nashville and it’s a compounded semaglutide
Any tips for my first injection? Picking up my prescription this afternoon 😅😅

What was your starting weight?
You're doing amazing
Thank you!!
I am on it for 6 months already, only lost 18 lbs. I never managed to lose more than 1lb each week
Some progress is better than no progress! Have you thought about switching medications?
@@keishapettway Just curious, what would you switch to if you’re on semiglutide already? Meaning what would be the alternative? Thanks.
