I know this is a weird upload time and day, but this video was literally the hardest I've dealt with on copyright; over 10+ attempts but it's up! Not in the most ideal way, but not the worst lol. I'll try to get the next up on Sunday like I've been wanting, but this has been a nightmare; but I've learned a lot so hopefully things are easier in the future! :) I also forgot the ending, yes I'm stupid.
Dont forget Fear of a black hat
If you haven't seen it already please react to KILL BILL volumes 1 and 2. Please let me know if you've seen it already so I will quit requesting it. Thanks!

Wesley Snipes has said in interviews that Simon Phoenix was the most fun he's ever had with a role. Every minutes he's onscreen, you can tell he's having the time of his life!
I miss the 90s, when movies were FUN...
Yeah the movies from the 80-90 and early 00s was really great. 90s had the best overall imo ;)
"Fuck you, Lady!" That line will never not be funny and that kid delivered it so perfectly! I love this movie. Also, it's a subtle touch, but I love that they never miss a beat with verbal parameter fine. The only time it doesn't go off is when they're outside, underground, or in the room that Phoenix demolished.
The sad part is that there were and are news reporters with that kind of mentality that have no qualms about comparing the cost of a building to the pricelessness of a little girl’s life.
Same exact line from a little girl in the last boyscout
While making this movie, Rob Schneider scoffed mightily when Sandra Bullock told him her next movie would be about a bus that couldn't go below 50 MPH. And we all remember how that turned out.
Yeah-it led to an entire sequel to justify why the director had candid footage of Willem Dafoe putting leeches on himself...
Wesley Snipes essentially plays the Joker in this movie, and he's darn good at it.
I love him.
I can imagine him on suicide squad
You post this in every reaction of this movie. lol
@@jp3813 - Darn tootin'! As soon as I stop getting likes, I'll stop postin'.
@@maximillianosaben Although I do think that, despite the characters having similarities, Snipes and the writers still make Phoenix distinctive enough to not be confused w/ the Joker in terms of personality & behavior.
2 things I wish you would’ve included…the fake VR headset sex 😂 and when Sly realized that someone uploaded martial arts to Phoenix, meanwhile they taught Spartan how to knit
At least he knows how to make a sweater
It relaxes people, didn't you see the olympian knitting? xD

@@N1ghtwave_05 1 hour ago? wtf you doing here.... also probly not here because it says they got blocked 10 times so they just kept cutting shit.
I love this movie because it never feels dated. Came out in 93, but could have easily been released within this decade
And our future is pretty much headed in this direction anyway, so the movie will never feel dated.
Except the reactors clearly said that today's movies aren't like this anymore.
The computer UI throughout this movie is fantastic. Still holds up. Alexa and Siri have nothing on the police’s voice computer interface.
Hell, its truer and truer everyday.
"What?! You can’t swear?!"
"What a nightmare..”
Lol hilarious!
I'd literally be in fucking debt if that was real 😂
"Maniac is immanent."
"Maniac has responded with a scornful remark." 🤣
Two of my favorite quotes in all of moviedom.
An unexpected Wesley Snipes movie: "To Woo Fong, thanks for everything". And Sandra Bullock in "Miss Congeniality" is at the top of her game.
Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, and Bruce Willis all cross referenced each others' movies because back in the 90's they partnered in Planet Hollywood
They had that frozen naked statue of Stallone hanging off the ceiling at the Vegas Planet Hollywood! 😳
Phoenix said at the beginning he would lose his head of it wasn’t attached and Spartan said “I’ll keep that in mind”. Then he kicks his head off at the end!
"Bzzt, you have been fined one credit for violation of the verbal morality statute."
Thats our future boyos, better learn how to use those three seashells.
This movie was tons of fun in the theater. Taco Bell had Demolition Man cups to promote the movie. This movie is a blast every time you watch it. Still holds up. You guys should react to Cliffhanger. Also came out in this same year of 93. Thank you guys for watching this.
Ah yes, Cliffhanger. I was a teenager and was getting into rock climbing and my Dad said, "Hey, let's check out this movie. It's a nice, calm story about rock climbing." Ahem.... First scene freaked me out.
I remember that...wow... how that was ago long ago!!!
Great movie, love Stallone
Cliffhanger is awesome. Can recommend.
i remember the taco bell commercials-- HYPE!
If you haven seen Tango & Cash yet, that's another Stallone movie that's really good!!!!!
I second that 👍
@@whitecompany18 hell yeah.
@@whitecompany18 Cliffhanger!
Tango & Cash was Kurt Russell at his peak, people forget that in the 80's he made action movies like Big Trouble in Little China and Escape from New York, by the 90's he sort of handed the action mantle over to Bruce Willis. It went from Kurt, Sly and Arnie to Bruce, Sly and Arnie.
@@krashd pretty much that's how it went down. But don't forget that Van Damme had a brief action run with them as well
Fun Fact: Wesley Snipes actually turned this role down, producer Joel Silver was finally able to convince him to take it, a good thing he did because it's considered one of Wesley's most iconic roles in terms of fan popularity. Also, there is actually a guide online that shows you how to use the three seashells, but after seeing it I'll stick to toilet paper, lol.
Passenger 57 is pretty iconic for me as well.
I'll stick to cursing the future.
@@startingQB Drop Zone
The joy joy way this film illustrates our possible future of no touching and sodium free lifestyle. Epic
The no meat is getting to be pretty spot on. I will never eat that fake meat - made from plants - lab-grown tissue meat. If you knew what all they put in that... It's rather difficult to find out, but once I dug into the research, it's absolutely over the line for me. Manufactured lab blood is injected into it, grown and synthesized from the genetic code of soybeans - it's called heme. Instead of harvesting heme naturally from living organisms, they decided it's "better" to just create it themselves.
One of the best movies ever made “three sea shells”
Sounds horrible.
@@Grnademaster what I find more fascinating are people who take time to look into the competition but not their own biased preferences
Is artificially grown meat the best thing for someone? probably not
Is real meat the best thing for someone? 100% most certainly not
Look into the science of how meat interacts with the body; any meat consumed is a carcinogen. It's even worse if USA meat, which is banned in most other countries. I don't care whether people eat meat or not - similar to sugar, caffeine, alcohol, etc. it's each person's risk assessment, and we all have vices. The reason for my post is: if you think a food is bad simply because it was genetically modified or grown artificially, you're _severely overestimating_ how nutritious the "real" version you're consuming is.
@@Rhodair You may be totally correct. And it's no different in the fruit/vegetable department either. Your apples, oranges, peaches, lettuce, cucumbers, corn, soybeans, and wheat are no different. All genetically resistant-modified.
Long Kiss Goodnight man. Bad ass Gena Davis. Sam Jackson at the height of his powers. Renny Harlin killing it with the action. Great action movie.
And Brian Cox being Brian Cox - "Marjorie, when will your dog realise that whatever was in it's ass is either long gone or there to stay."
One of my favourite films. Lost count of the number of times I've watched it. A total hoot! I really did not mind suspending my disbelief for this one.
This 1000 times!
@@krashd lmao
Phoenix has always been my definition of chaotic evil 😂😂🤣
This is one of the best Stalone's movies ever.
you got that right.
For me, i think Snipes' too
Simon Phoenix predicted his own death at the beginning when he said "If I don't be careful i'm going to lose my head."
"I swear, I'd lose my head if it wasn't attached."
@@jp3813 I knew it was something like that.
A Bronx tale please 🙏🏼
I respect Wesley Snipes as an actor for coming in as an actor doing some serious acting roles before ever telling anyone at studios he's an actual Martial Artist, holds 4th Dan in Shotokan currently.
FUN FACT: Wesley Snipes was asked to slow down his fighting scenes because he was so quick, the camera couldn't pick it up :)
I did not know that. Thanks for the information.
Yup Wesley is the real deal
Many martial artists have been told that by filmmakers.
You two are going to love The Fifth Element (1997) too! 🥰
Comedy, action, great costume design and universe! 👌🏼✌🏼
Two more great ones. No, three. "Timecop", "Face/Off" and "Breakdown"! All 90's, all pure action and suspense.
I love Face/Off
@@Teaniinja it's like looking into a mirror, only....not
Haha, Face/Off used to be my favorite movie when it first came out. I can pretty much just play the movie in my head. I know every line of dialogue.
Face off definitely
that was my graduation treat, face off was at blockbuster video in 98.
This film is such a masterpiece. Will never stop loving it.
Fun fact. In every fist fight (except the one in the car) between Stallone and Snipes, Snipes was told to slow down his movements in his fighting. Apparently he's so damn fast that the cameras used back in 1993 couldn't keep up and it looked choppy.
Wesley Snipes is trained in like 7 different fighting styles. He's been training since he was 12, so definitely understandable. He also likes to do all his own stunts
@@bigb2494Denis Leary actually said he did his own stunts in the movie, INSISTED on it, but the directors would go after him and redo scenes with a stuntman because often times, the resulting shot wouldn't be usable. On contrast, Styllone INISTED on a driving range no matter what.
this is one of my favorites, i love the sarcasm and one liners since you guys loved this you should chack out The Last Boy Scout with Bruce Willis and Damon Wayans another 90s classic withthe best Willis one liners out there
Written by Shane black, the king of one liners
Last Boy Scout is worth it just for the seen where the henchman keeps punching Bruce instead of lighting his cigarette. "You do that again and I'll kill ya!"
The death of Simon was a callback to the start where he said he'd lose his head if it wasn't attached.
Also, Jack Black was one of the sewer guys Edgar was running with.
Passenger 57 is amazing.
18:50 “Not bad for a 74 year old.” Stallone is now 74 years old and still making action movies. This movie was very prescient!
Saw this in the cinema. The laughter when they mentioned the "Schwarzenegger presidential library" was incredible.
I laughed just as hard playing the video game sequel "Deus Ex: Human Revolution" when encountering a near future bathroom with three seashells next to the toilet.
There's also 3 sea shells in a bathroom in Cyberpunk lol
2077? I'm only halfway through that, so I will keep my eye out for them.
@@Cifer77 Where is it in Cyberpunk? I missed that.
The, "How can you justify the destruction of a $7 million dollar mini mall, to rescue a girl who's ransom is only $25,000 dollars?"

"There's always some motherfucker trying to ice skate uphill" is a good one from that
what about the crow 1994?

Wesley Snipes was funny in this movie even though he's playing a villain 🤣😂
Off the top of my head, please consider reacting to these old school action movies if you haven't seen them:
Sylvester Stallone = First Blood, Cliffhanger, Assassins
Arnold Schwarzenegger = Terminator 1&2, Predator, The Running Man, Total Recall, True Lies, Eraser
Bruce Willis = Die Hard 1-3
Harrison Ford = Indiana Jones 1-3, Air Force One, The Fugitive
Mel Gibson = Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior, Lethal Weapon 1-4
Keanu Reeves = The Matrix, Speed, Point Break
Nicolas Cage = Face/Off, The Rock, Con Air
Chow Yun-fat = The Killer, Hard Boiled, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
Jackie Chan = Drunken Master 2 (aka The Legend of Drunken Master), Who Am I, Supercop
Jet Li = Fist of Legend, Hero, The One
Others = Predator 2, RoboCop, Aliens, Top Gun, Crimson Tide, Starship Troopers, Universal Soldier, Bad Boys, True Romance, Desperado, Enemy of the State, Broken Arrow, The Mask of Zorro, Tombstone, Fury Road
Schwarzenegger's 'Last Action Hero' is also better than its reputation.
May I also ad movies to the names!
Bruce Willis: the Fifth Element, Armaggeddon, 12 monkeys, Sin City
Keanu Reeves: Constantine
Jackie Chan: Armour of God, Rush Hour 1-2
This is Wesley Snipes Best performances 💯 he plays a great villain and that haircut was crazy.
"Such reckless abandonment. Looks like there's a new shepherd in town!"
Man, that movie is still so hilarious. Sandra Bullock's anachronistic malapropisms won't ever stop being fun.
I could watch you guys do that no-contact high five all day long lol.
Simon Phoenix is such a great villain, one of Wesley Snipes' best roles in my opinion
That damn 3 sea shells thing STILL pops in my head after 30+ years..like, how? .lol. The writing in this old movie was really underrated. Snipes was actually funnier then Stallone. Yes, very comic villain...lol Glad you guys watched this one! Love ya both!
And the 3 sea shells which pops up is ALWAYS in slys voice!
Lmao. I love people watching this for the first time. It is one of my all time favorites. Lol
The opening gets everyone the same way. Lol. That's how we did it in the 80s and 90s. Lol 😂😂😂
The question "is it cold in here" isn't the only call back in the scene.
Remember at the end of the opening fight scene, when Spartan asked Phoenix about the hostages, and Phoenix was like "now where did I put them? I swear I'd lose my head if it wasn't attached."
To which Spartan replied "I'll keep that in mind"
Then at the climax, Phoenix gets frozen and what happens??? Spartan kicks his head off. Still a call back
I work second shift and I get off of work at midnight. The past several weeks all of our late night fast food restaurants have been closing between 8-10pm, except for Taco Bell. Last week as I sat in the drive thru line, I thought about this movie and how Taco Bell was the only fast food joint to survive the chain food stores, and now it's the only one with the workers to stay open to their actual hours. I couldn't help but get a good laugh out of it
This movie is in my top 10 favorite films of all time. I'm so glad to see you guys react to this one!
Sandra Bullock’s character is named “Lenina Huxley.” It’s a reference to the character “Lenina Disney” from the novel “Brave New World” by Aldous Huxley.
This has aged sooo well.
I remember when this came out. Both Stallone and Snipes got super ripped for the movie.
I was in high school when this movie came out. This is where we're heading for. It more truth then what you realize.
We used to say "what's your boggle" for ages after this came out. In Europe, Taco Bell was badly overdubbed as Pizza Hut it was so dumb.
It wasn't in the UK, as far as I can recall.
@@krashd oh it was, Ive seen several people from the UK confused when they see it again and its not Pizza Hut.
I watched it in the 90's and they said Pizza Hut as there wasn't any Taco Bells here in the UK at that time.
Yeah they thought Taco wasn’t going to make sense so made it Pizza Hut just to change it back later as Pizza Huts popularity fell and Taco came to the UK.
Your country isn't "Europe". No dubbing here in Denmark. We're "Europe" too... I know this is snarky, but it's becoming increasingly frustrating, when people assume anything that happens in their country applies to the entire continent and speak on everyone else's behalfs.
The three seashells are buttons... (1) - Wash - (2) Flush - (3) Dry ..
All you need to have this up to date is to change the dates on the screen and it still works so well! There is a lesson in this movie but it still doesn't take itself too seriously.
love this movie and love your reactions! i feel like movies in the 80s and 90s took risks that we just don’t take now.
This reminds me of my childhood...The joys of having older siblings...played this on repeat at like 7 years old. Bloodsport, Leon-The professional and pulp fiction also made a nice 7 year olds playlist....
My playlist was Die Hard, Predator, Cliffhanger, Demolition Man, Cobra, Terminator 2, and Aliens. I wore them all out on VHS.
"Phoenix" Jeffrey Dhamer, I love that guy!! 😂😂
Ya always loved this one, when Simon responds "Good Memory" that stuck with me forever cause not only was a great line Snipes performed it so well and the fact that this was one of the only times he actually spoke to Spartan man to man and wasn't mocking him or kidding around at all.

Gross pedo stuff it's not that great.
The movie is French, and they aren't as squeamish about sexuality over there. But I guess Americans aren't too squeamish about blood, guts, and heads flying all over the screen. But yet, we don't ban movies like Nekromantik, where you can "explore" your sexuality with dead bodies, where many other countries did ban it. Go figure.

Back in the 90s seeing this for the first time, we were laughing at the future, it sounded so unreal. Today it looks like it's just around the corner.
Story goes Stallone would say penis instead of phoenix as a joke.
P.S. Idiocracy is a hilarious if your look for a fun watch.
Very underrated movie. As an action movie, it's above average, but there is better out there, as a comedic take on social commentary & political correctness, it was light years ahead of it's time. It's why it gets better, the jokes get funnier given what has happened to society in the last 30 years!
The centralized tyre inflation system is actually fairly common in modern military vehicles it allows tyre pressure to be lowered when crossing soft terrain then re inflated for road driving and depending on how powerful the system is it can compensate for a limited amount of air lost through tyre damage.

The guy playing Cocteau in Demolition Man, Nigel Hawthorne, plays one of the coolest characters of all time, in the show "Yes, Minister" (1980-1984) and its sequel "Yes, Prime Minister" (1986-1988), Sir Humphrey Appleby. Cocteau is basically Sir Humphrey if he had lost the last shred of humanity.
I recommend watching the two shows, if you have the chance (it's wonderfully dry British humor). It's amazing to see how little has changed in the world of politics, in the last 40 years. It's basically just the names and the really major events that differ. The rest is pretty much the same.
