Nuremberg and Bamburg looked so blocky and monotone. And then Dee’s photos showed what they were missing: trees and grass. Her photos are integral to all these videos. The sunlight and views as you pass through Germany are such a great reason for a river cruise. It lets you see it is a beautiful country. And that old cities survived two big wars (or were well rebuilt). Capturing Dee in the sunlight after Bingo was a nice edit. Sunlight, hair style - maybe lipstick - all giving Dee a glam, refreshing look. Hope it’s reflecting a happiness inside, too! Or maybe it comes from seeing the kitty in the window. 😊
Amazing! Can’t wait to see the next episode!! If you see this, did you ever figure out the DJI settings for the light flickering? Just picked one up for our next adventure. Just wondering.. on to the next episode now!! 😊
Nah, the only thing I really found to play around with was the frame rate. Sometimes 50 was better than 60, but there was always flickering with those LED lights. I eventually gave up and embraced the chaos!! :P ~Jay
I'm much more of a beer drinker now than I was 9 years ago when we went on our river cruise but Kind of liked the Smokey beer especially with the big oft pretzel that was served with it.
In general, we’ve found most European river cruises in the $5k per person range for a seven night sailing. Riverside does offer different packages to help bring that cost down if you skip the drink package, excursion package, things like that though.
@@parodeejayoh, I would love to go to Germany❤. I have a half sibling there that I haven't been able to locate. I feel like if I went there, it might make it easier to find them. My daddy was stationed there in 67-68 and had a relationship with a lady from there. After the US Army moved him, they lost contact. I would really love to find her. ❤
thanks again for taking us along with you on your excursion. It was so interesting! Watching your European tours I noticed you have to pay for the bathroom. Do you have to have exact change or can you swipe a credit card? Thank you. We look forward to your next video. Enjoy.❤🛳️🦩⚓️
Finally enough, we never actually used a pay public restroom the whole time! From what we saw in passing, it was usually either an attendant standing outside or an honor system with a plate in front of the restrooms, so we would say be prepared with cash only.
For us, river cruises are mostly for seeing parts of the world that you might not otherwise see, so the destinations and tours are the highlight. If you’re looking for onboard activities, river cruising might disappoint. Though Riverside did surprise us with karaoke, Liar’s Club, bingo, and things we never saw on our AmaWaterways cruise last time around!!
Bamberg is beautiful! ❤
Dee's dinner hair is amazing!!!❤
Thank you!
Dee has been glowing in the last few videos.. She looks beautiful!
Super impressed by the choice and quality of the food.
This was a great day. Love all the history. That dinner looked amazing! Thank you for sharing as always.

SteinMart. Too funny. ❤❤
What a lovely trip so far! Are you able to share approximate cost of this trip please?

I would have been in trouble with that meal. The only thing I would have liked would have been the fried mushrooms and the choco cake
The wooden stuff y’all saw in that shop were laser engraved. They did not wipe off the residue on it which bothers me because I’m a laser engraver. 😆
It doesn't look like a lot of people on the cruise kinda nice lol
Jay love your videos. I was just wondering what had caused your skin flare up?
My wife and I are both big cruisers. Iv’e wanted to do a river cruise for years, but my wife says “not enough to do”. HELP!

@@parodeejay thank you.
I've never heard of this line. How does the price compare to say Viking?
I want your guys life, mine sucks!
So depressing i can't go
I absolutely love watching everything you do but I can definitely say for the 100% certainty River cruising is not for me
I'm sorry... do all BINGO callers look like that...I need to go to BINGO more often
Haha I'll have to tell Zed that. He is the nicest guy ever.
@@Dee-of-ParoDeeJay I'm sure he's been complimented on his looks before
