Sam's alright but he's a bit of a one-trick pony. Ren completely outclasses him vocally. In every other musical and performance aspect it's not even a contest. I'm always amazed when people prefer Sam to Ren, even vocally but I've noticed that people are automatically impressed by the ability to sing in a high register, naturally or via falsetto, with a little power. No other vocal considerations seem to matter. It's very strange... :)
